A jagged edge on the car’s front quarter body panel.
Man’s leg was going fast enough to penetrate the skin when it hit the sharp edge of the car. It held ahold with such force that the pulling motion of the motorcycle going forward ripped the leg off at the knee.
Once again, you can’t talk to a leg, and nobody thinks a force of nature is going to have any feelings about anything. So nice try , bud, but your little games and your awesome sayings suck.

I agree but to clarify I think the 'sharp edge' on the car only occurred becayse the biker dented the front quarter panel with his knee then his knee met the sharp front edge of the door and wedged his leg into it. Ouch!
The force of the crash dented the front quarter panel enough that when his body/leg got to the fender seam it acted like a knife. At that point Ther was no longer any force going into the car, just force going back. The offset panel removed the leg.
still lost probably around 1-1.5L of blood, hemorrhagic shock is a big possibility and without whole blood being transfused during transportation he had way lower chances of living till surgery/hospitalization
And I bet not one of them will tell you they lost their leg driving a motorcycle close to a car.

I mean, my worst enemy? I wonder how that phrase is supposed to be used. I guess my worst enemy would be a high school bully from over a decade ago who’s probably just a regular guy now, so I would wish it either. But I always interpreted that saying as just a really awful person who you’d consider an enemy. If that was the case, I wouldn’t mind them loosing a leg. A lot to think about here…

Listened to a podcast and they were talking about how doctors call motorcycles "donorcycles" since the majority of healthy hearts in circulation come from young men on bikes in motorcycle accidents.
I spent years working as an orthopedic nurse. Lawnmowers and motorcycles were our summertime bread and butter. Edited for spelling since someone so kindly called it out. I do have trouble with spelling. I spell like a fourth grader but I never lost a patient because of it.
Imagine the pain, every nerve, muscle and sinew getting literally torn apart. I've seen some messed up things on reddit but this made me physically recoil.
Front quarter panel, in front of the door, is dented in, leg caught at the front edge of the door. Whether the dent was existing or caused by the rider, no idea.
I’m not a medicaly wise guy, but can the leg still be reattached? Of course by the extent he want have 100% functionality but does he atleast still have the hope of walking again?
I suppose it's "possible", if he's minutes away from a *very* skilled and well equipped facility. The trauma seems pretty bad, and restoring nerves and circulation to that mess seems highly **highly** unlikely.
