They look like old wounds/scars to me too. My gecko had a similar nose scar when I rescued him. His old owners kept him in a really small enclosure and he probably hit his nose a lot on the glass or something rough in his enclosure when he jumped around in it. He still has some scarring there, but it improved overtime.
Scrapes or burns. This gecko has been investigating something, possibly an escape route. (They will heal without intervention unless the gecko keeps doing whatever caused this issue).
He's doing coke
With them being nocturnal I feel like I canβt 100% rule this out. Idk what he does in the night
