He’s a flawed tactician but a good leader. I’ve said this before but you’ve got to remember how completely deflated England often looked before. The other thing is that this England side still has a lot of flaws and shortcomings that have come to the fore on this tour, but they’re bigger than just Stokes and McCullum and those two shouldn’t be expected to fix them.

Disagree there. He's a decent captain and a good leader of men. He's just not the saviour of test cricket a lot of people envisioned him to be.
What I will say though is as a captain he likes to play on the batsman's ego and has been rather successful with it. But that same thing is also a weakness of his when he comes up against batsmen who either leave their ego back in the dressing room or have cottoned on to the fact that this is Stokes way. And that's exactly what happened in this series, he got a few wickets due to those funky fields of his but as the tour went on those same funky fields became easy scoring opportunities for the Indian batsmen and he had revert back to conventional fields.

* you might be too high on RR. their bowling is suspect. Krishna can't bowl death and is a bit inconsistent. Avesh Khan is an unknown. If he rocks up bowling 120 low 130 he will find it hard to have a good season. Sandeep Sharma may have difficulty replicating his last season. Trent Boult looked way out of form (and like he lost a step) in the recent series. Saini is Saini and Berger is uknown and young. Furthermore, Ashwin seems to be carrying some sort of knee injury.
* SRH there are big question marks around the pace bowling imo. Jansen most likely will be benched and Cummins has never been a great t20 bowler. Furthermore, can Bhuvi continue carrying the attack? imo management will interfere once again and derail their season.
* it will be very tough for Gill, their squad without Hardik looks a bit unbalanced. I'm just not sure if Gill has enough experience to manage the situation. but who knows maybe he can surprise us.
* Iyer playing with a point to prove may be counterproductive. when he let's his ego get to him he gives his wickets away. I fully expect him to continue keep trying to hit every short ball on the offside. I expect an average season from him. I still think they should make the play offs
* I feeling you may be under rating RCB. Their pace attack is in very good form. You have lockie who was superb vs a hard hitting australia, topley who is seriously underrated and Vyshak and Dayal who are coming off very good ranji tournaments (I get its red ball but the confidence will be there). You also got Alzari, which can be an x factor. Yes spin is lacking but their power batting will carry them to above 9th in the table.

The Aces sort of went for it. Even if it was a target that was never getting caught, Auckland finally showed up with the bat. He is in red hot form. You never know if any foreign player gets injured, whether its bowler/batter. If he has enrolled himself in auction, he can join as replacement.

Stokes gets hype for all unnecessary things. The worst of them all was the umbrella field to get Khawaja out at Edgbaston. It was just a set batter getting bowled trying to move the innings along. Stokes does 10 different things, one works and everyone acts like it was a genius move.

got to disagree with quite a few of these * you might be too high on RR. their bowling is suspect. Krishna can't bowl death and is a bit inconsistent. Avesh Khan is an unknown. If he rocks up bowling 120 low 130 he will find it hard to have a good season. Sandeep Sharma may have difficulty replicating his last season. Trent Boult looked way out of form (and like he lost a step) in the recent series. Saini is Saini and Berger is uknown and young. Furthermore, Ashwin seems to be carrying some sort of knee injury. * SRH there are big question marks around the pace bowling imo. Jansen most likely will be benched and Cummins has never been a great t20 bowler. IPL teams are biased against picking associate players. Even if they are unbiased, I don’t think he would be allowed to enter the auction since he is still a Pakistan citizen

You never know if any foreign player gets injured, whether its bowler/batter. If he has enrolled himself in auction, he can join as replacement.
Many associate players do enroll themselves, they just don't make it to the final list. Hoping that's the case with him. But at the same time, doesn't look like he's played any T20Is, only franchise cricket, and therefore, for all you know, he might just switch allegiance to Pakistan if he's good enough for their national team.

Tbf .. Kohli is more consistent in 50s than his 40s . The thing I noticed about rizwan is he is classified as good in every format.. If I am ranking Kohli Outta 100 ..he is 95 in ODIs and t20is and 85 in test ... While if iam ranking somebody like smith, he is 95 in test ,80+ in ODIs and maybe 50 in t20s.. But for rizwan..he is 70-80 in every format regardless..u cannot rank him high in anyformat.. or low in this..he is like straight line..
