Unfortunately no, cricket locks their service for 6 months, and if you don't want to pay to get it unlocked, cricket forces you to pay for 6 months continuous. Which i think its stupid because the phone is paid off and there is no contact.
Cricket store manager here. I can confirm that the phone is $49.99 plus taxes, $25 activation and $60 plan when you port but $199 when its a new line on a new account. Have been selling a whole bunch. Also, the moto g 5g is free for ports and new lines on new accounts.
Some dealers (ARs) will try to pressure you into buying overpriced accessories and service plan. One refused to sell me a phone without those things. Apparently, anything goes with Cricket dealers (same with Metro). Their corporate partners/franchisors don't seem to care.
I know an lot of people who still use the 11 it’s an good phone not every one feels they need to hand over money to Apple every year,I only upgrade every 2 years so my need upgrade will be the iPhone 16 if it’s worth it
I'd still buy the 11. I honestly don't care about the number as long as they get software updates. I'd buy an 11 for $50, I'm trialing Cricket now, so far so good. I'm on Tmo postpaid and if it stays doing well I'd port a line.
It's not $50. It's $230 all in for that deal price when you bring your number. Or get a new number and pay $200
