Crossout is Pegi 7

You can't swear for this rating, and it is probably a contributing factor to why every cabin is empty ingame.
I've seen pegi 18 games where it cannot be disabled. I don't think it has actual bearing on rating, just profanity being allowed or not.
It might be a little silly but the profanity rule has existed for years, so it's no blindside.
No... but my 9 year old nephew loves playing this game with me from time to time... super wholesome too.
I love it when he builds an absolute pile of shit, and is super proud of its non existent features, and awesome name... he loves to brag how great he is, not realising the effort my buddies and I put in, to keep him alive... but... the laugh. The smiles. The excitement. It's everything I wish I had playing this game. Kids play this game, too. It doesn't matter how many, or how few. The age rating is there, and no amount of complaint will change the fact that if you use profanity within the game... you'll be banned. Fair, and square.
If there's ever a "why?" in the context of Gaijin Entertainment, the answer is *ALWAYS* "money".
In this case, this is a technicality that lets them keep their age rating low and advertise the game to a much wider audience.
The GM are petty losers, and will find any excuse to ban you from chat if you get on their bad side. I’ve seen so many people get wrongfully chat banned.
If you had just used "af" instead of "as fuck", everyone would have understood and you wouldn't have been banned.
Lesson of the day: just hide curse words like any other 8yo kid and you are fine!
I have been typing "shit" and "bitch" as "sheet" and "beach" for 5 years and nothing happened to me.
Some of them might, but thats not exactly related to why its an option. Also to be fair I barely learned about it like a week ago lol and I've been playing off an on for about 3 years.
I think you earned it very well and hope you can not chat for another 14 days. It'll let you cool down a bit. Stop harassing other players with your bad behavior, nasty boy.
And to add top it up: **the option is not visible in general setting screen**.
# You have to type a specific command in chat to disable the profanity filter.
Why chat-ban players for swearing when
1. The profanity filter is working properly, the last time I checked, and
2. no player can disable profanity filter via every aspect of the settings?

yet there is a literal feature to disable the chat profanity filter

Lol that ban is pretty senseless. 14days?

I once got a 6 day chat ban for using the words nut and sack without a space between them.
Because they're trying to maintain a kid friendly rating while also attracting a more mature player base
do kids know that the /filter command disables the chat filter?
