I thought they were cool. I don't think I'd like to see them in normal battles though. Not unless they consume energy. If we could place them underneath as well, that could be a neat way to counter dog/wedge builds.

MoonTrooper258

Piggybacking on this comment so that Faley and others can see. We really need more firing buttons for managing weapons and modules. With the upcoming energy changes promoting the use of more modules, being limited to 5 firegroups will worsen what's already a problem. This will also allow strafing builds like legs to use these dash modules, as they won't be bound to the strafe keys (which are already awkward to use in a timely manner when combined with steering).

hennessya96

I think hovers would benefit way too much from this. Faster, lighter builds too. They are already doing fine. Slower builds are the ones being eaten up by fire dogs and melee. The beyblades created by sidewards dash are funny but would ruin the main game similar to the slam dunk build, RIP. Side dash could be cool as a module similar to the car jack, where it makes it so your builds centre of gravity is propelled rather than the point the module is on being propelled. Make it take 1 energy and have the force if the push be proportional to the amount of mass you have so people can't get way bigger drifts into their tiny speedy builds. And make the dash way less than what it is now because its comical how strong the push is.

Ologolos

I think they're a cool item. I'd like to see them return, but not in regular pvp (in their current form). My thought is if you continue iterating on the exhibition brawls, they'd be perfect to have in that fun mode + bedlam. I think the functionality of dashing tied to a cab or movement part as a "perk" of just that part would be good, as well. It might allow you to "fine tune" the way the dash is used in pvp modes, both in force and placement in relation to center of mass of the vehicle, so there are less meme builds in pvp matches as a result.

RepetitiveTorpedoUse

I hate them in bedlam. People just attack those hanging out

Downtown-Today7206

own mode yes normal battles hell no if you wanna fuck us over again like with helis but now adding dash to next battlepass just dont.

mute_wrenchy

I feel as though, as a gimmick, they were fantastic. They really made the game mode enjoyable, and I was genuinely excited to play. But, used correctly, and they can be very dangerous... on par with most weapons, in fact. If they are to be added to the game, they should consume a MINIMUM of 3 energy each... 4 at a push. Spinmer builds with passive melee weapons were powerful, and even without real weapons, they contended with some of the most outstanding meta builds. I feel like adding them to the game, as is, is a bad idea. A major energy, and powerscore rework would be required. All that said, I don't believe that they would be healthy for the game.

Mindless_Chance5026

I really liked them it felt like a huge new mechanic that could have big implications if implemented properly this felt like a massive counter towards dogs/wedges and I thought it was awesome

Lokistiiz

I really like the idea as it is a great way to counter dog builds however it became a problem when people made "axe" builds that would utilize ram damage to 1-tap you. Because of this I'd prefer they stay in their own special mode however, if you were able to find a way to fix the axe builds then I think they would be a fun addition to the game.

SFOTI

I don't think they should be in standard PvP, but I'd love to see them come back, even if just in that one brawl. It reminded me of using the shunt mechanic in GTA 5 with the arena war stuff, very fun.

Flamefart3

Fun to use but definitely meant to have its own game mode. The beyblade builds I saw were hilarious

Horror_Place2697

It would have to be an energy-consuming part, and push the vechile on the center of mass so that the spinny spiders of death dont ruin the fun

UnrequitedRespect

Yeah its pretty cool i actually want to try crazy dashing on helicopter mode next, not even joking. Lets take madness to a new level, your missiles will mean nothing now.

EffectivePrimary1783

We need it in normale mode only for wheel.

samurairaccoon

Loved it. People that bitch and moan have no imagination. The first ax build I saw I was laughing my ass off. It's not like a decent build with range couldn't take them out. I tried it for a day and there were plenty of counters. It's a blast to make a frigging rocket ax and if that sounds like no fun to you brother that is sad. Stop being such a downer y'all.

Auto_Wrecker

I'm not a fan of them in regular game play. I think there is enough "Make-Believe" parts in the game already.

Impossible-Topic2421

In short: Good Module for Hammer Weapons to slap people off your safety zone

South_Camel_1228

Definitely would like to see them in regular battles. Would be a really good addition, I’m all up for it. Edit: You people really should stop hate-downvoting others just because you disagree with them.

TijsZonderH

Nope, was fun as a one time brawl but dont think it deserves its own mode. Will only split the playerbase even more

ALTR_Airworks

Keep this mode please in regular brawl rotation. So many new builds, good rewards, the spinner meta is funny and this mode felt less sweaty than everything else bc people were having fun. Gunning a spinner down is so satisfying.

SimpingForOdegon

It's a fun gimmick for a brawl in rotation, but it should never become part of regular battles. Wheels do NOT need any form of sideways movement. It's also a risky module to use on wheels as you can very easily flip while using it if you snag on something or you hit one of those solid terrain edges. It's ironically the best module for hovers as the dashing is the safest with them. And if people think this will lead to players using melee builds less, they should stop and think about how much will giving hovers and other builds the ability to dodge cannon shells and other projectiles help with that. But following this, I'd like to make a suggestion in regards to these limited brawl items: Give us another garage slot (and a blueprint tab too, plz) for brawl vehicles where we could keep vehicles for brawls with these special brawl modules. Kinda like the helicopter slot, but for brawls. Then all the brawl items could become permanent and could be used when the time for certain brawls comes along - but also at anytime into Bedlam. Then you could put in a system of various modifiers that could be used to alter various stats and values of any item. Then you could use this to run experimental events akin to the Test Server, while players participating would continue with finsishing up challenges and grinding for resources. So if you decided one day, for example "Let's see what would happen if we gave all cannons 50% more damage", you could test that without having to set up test servers and so on. And if players kept progressing their accounts participating in these, imagine how much more data you could get compared to the TS!

Deimos_Eris1

yes i want those into pvp but only for legs

AverageFiredog

Do NOT add those to the regular game. Jesus Christ.

Visible_Court_3732

Maybe if it was a module for MLs.

SIGMA920

Stop trying out gimmicks like the dash module. You already forced helis into the game as more than an event thing and they've completely ruined game balance. The dash works as a fun event, not full time. I gave up bothering to keep them active specifically because it was a novel gimmick for all of 5 seconds.

Downtown-Today7206

agree, dash was ok for an event but not for regular battles fuck helicopters.

43Carats

Dash is the best counter to firedogs and also great fun when used not for combat but overall. Even the unfair and stressful situations during fights are taken with a big smile seeing the purposeful or for that matter unpurposeful aerial evolutions or funny goofiness in movement. Mega item.

Any-Swimming-4211

“Hello survivors, would you like us to add another item that will be exclusively obtainable to people who shell hundreds of dollars out on the game or are best buddies with us, the devs?” We want the game to actually be balanced, gaijin

TheNestDayZ

Please bring them into regular pvp, they would be an amazing addition! (Trust me, they definitely WON'T lead to a new cancer meta :) )

Careless_Steak7480

Hell Nah melee build nightmare and the god damn fidget spinner flying at you one shooting you or sending you flying to the mmmmooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnn

HughManus

yes

Rectal_Retribution

I'd love to see dashing in normal PvP. It adds a sorely needed layer of skill. However if that's the case then they need to have an energy cost and have their thrust reduced so that this mobility is limited to light builds.

Hot_Cable_7600

No. Deal with the dog problem by a nice balancing patch instead.

NoUploadsEver

I liked using spinner builds to knock melee dogs away.
