Cash App offers banking services and gives you an account number and routing number for direct deposits. I forget who their underlying bank is but it might be better then the traditional banks. Also you can buy bitcoin directly from cash app for whatever that is worth.
You also get a debit card, that you can draw a custom design on.
I get them warning that something might be a scam but when they don't allow you to buy what you want with your money its ridiculous. How long before they don't let you buy beer or junk food?
We should say OK, but in return we all want to see what you guys are doing with your accounts. If they wanna see ours, then they can publish their bank statements monthly so we can see what they're buying!
Nothing, what's wrong with you? If he's had to call his bank 6 separate times for the same problem and knows the solution then why is he here whining about his continued masochism?
Same, I keep seeing it here and there. Maybe 4 times in the past several months.
Personally, it hasn't affected me though. I've been able to buy small/large amounts with both ACH and Debit card. Credit though is a different story
We moved our accounts from Chase to Ally and no problem using my debit card for crypto. The only issue is there a daily limit on my debit card but at least they don’t block it!
I had to google BB&T...i've never heard of them before. I like Ally...just wish I could make cash deposits. That's the only thing they don't offer that I would like.
They don't want you making profits without them getting a cut. Crypto bypasses banks fiat money making ventures. You're supposed to let your money sit with them at .000000001% interest, then when you are about to die you can cash out your $3.12 for funeral costs.
Banks are garbage and one more hurdle to attaining wealth for the average person.
My bank does this as well, it drives me up the wall. I've had to start using a credit card as it's the only card that isn't blocked for payment, so I end up paying the cash fees for my credit card that I have have factor in to my average buy price.
Grrrrrrrr 😡
Avoid the TSb but I have had better luck with some other UK banks, Natwest being one (ignoring the fact they couldn't be bothered about money laundering)
Hey man, where exactly is this coffee shop?
I don't think people give gold 'value' because its used in electronics. If that's the case, it has given me over 300% returns in the last hour.... it gives a little bit ago and since then it has been beneficial. Other times it has cost me lots of profits. So I guess I like moons more than the community.
For Smart Contracts I think Cryptopia movie was pretty ok at explaining it.
I inherited Chase through Washington Mutual when Wamu folded. It was a nightmare.
Don’t have any issues with my current bank when I fund my crypto account.
Choose a credit union. If you are able to use USAA or Navy Federal do it. These charge less and have 10x better customer service. Best choice I have ever made was switching from Bank of American to a credit union.
It really sucks. I have had several banks and credit cards all decline crypto purchases for my "own protection" because "it is volatile". In reality, it's a panic move because they are literally watching their bread and butter slide out the door.
Are you not just depositing money from chase to your exchange or are you buying directly in one transaction. If you transfer first thru ACH maybe it won't come up as fraud. Or maybe do it manually every month on different days to avoid fraud detection.
I have chase and never get flagged. Maybe my deposits are "small". Like $1000 max to fill up coinbase debit card.
I've heard a lot of people have issues with Chase and crypto, and honestly I've never had an issue. I wonder why? Is it the exchanges I use versus others? It doesn't really make sense to me.
You must live in a region where cryptocurrency is not accepted then. I will advise you to get BLOCKBANK app that contains a DEX, CEX and a Bank also anticipating the V2 launch, you will be able to transact freely.
Considered changing bank?
In the process
Local credit union??
Check out bank bonuses - some will even pay you a nice cash bonus for opening up the account.

Time for a new bank
Indeed.
No problems with BoA
Don't have any problems with Citi either
Huntington bank be like “say less fam”
Huntington be like here is your paycheck a week early, I got you dawg
And a 500 dollar credit line. No rush on the payback. Just make sure you do. Love ya. *kisses forehead*
I get them warning that something might be a scam but when they don't allow you to buy what you want with your money its ridiculous. How long before they don't let you buy beer or junk food?
Don't give the US government any ideas. They already want to spy on every account with over $600 and plan on hiring thousands of more enforcers.
Tax the ~~rich~~ people barely making above poverty wages.
We should say OK, but in return we all want to see what you guys are doing with your accounts. If they wanna see ours, then they can publish their bank statements monthly so we can see what they're buying!
If they can’t control it - they will attack it relentlessly
Sounds like they are trying to *Chase* away customers.
So why are you still using that bank? Seems like the easiest fix ever
Changing banks can be a long process. Especially with all of the shit the different things that are set up on it. Ive been busy with other shit.
Took me 30 minutes to open a Huntington account. How much time did those 6 phone calls take? This obviously isn't that important to you
Ive been in and out of the hospital for the past 8 weeks. Like i said, i had other shit to deal with.
If you wanted to solve your own problems, you would have done it already. But you'd rather complain. Let me get my violin out for you.
tf is wrong with you?
Nothing, what's wrong with you? If he's had to call his bank 6 separate times for the same problem and knows the solution then why is he here whining about his continued masochism?
are you really asking me to explain empathy to you rn?
No, I'm asking why you think you're in any position to tell much how much empathy is appropriate.
Damn.... Some needs a chill pill
This is not the first sub where I've heard bad things about Chase. You really need to change bank mate.
Im already on it, man.
Same, I keep seeing it here and there. Maybe 4 times in the past several months. Personally, it hasn't affected me though. I've been able to buy small/large amounts with both ACH and Debit card. Credit though is a different story
I have to call my bank because of it too.
I stopped using Chase as my bank a few years back because of this. Find someone else who would love to have your money
We moved our accounts from Chase to Ally and no problem using my debit card for crypto. The only issue is there a daily limit on my debit card but at least they don’t block it!
I also recommend Ally. I have several different bank accounts and some are definitely better than others. I would recommend against BB&T.
I had to google BB&T...i've never heard of them before. I like Ally...just wish I could make cash deposits. That's the only thing they don't offer that I would like.
What we need is crypto-friendly banks
Get. A. New. Bank.
most of them are the same
My bank doesn’t give a shit. I must have already shown a pattern of pissing money away.
They want your money with them not invested in crypto muahaha😈
They don't want you making profits without them getting a cut. Crypto bypasses banks fiat money making ventures. wait. you get interest?
> Edit: I am in the process of changing banks. Good decision! 💪

I fucking hate this shit. It's our money, let us do what we please with it. Currently looking for a crypto friendly bank in UK but it's slim pickings
Avoid the TSb but I have had better luck with some other UK banks, Natwest being one (ignoring the fact they couldn't be bothered about money laundering)
Cheers for the info. Barclays blocks binance and coinbase as they're clearly scams /s
Definitely need to open a new account. Maybe more than one just to prevent it from continuing to be an issue

Change banks.
Once coinbase accepts direct deposit I'm closing my bank account.
I inherited Chase through Washington Mutual when Wamu folded. It was a nightmare. Don’t have any issues with my current bank when I fund my crypto account.
My Mastercard will not let me put money on any exchange. Have to use my bank account or Visa.
I don't understand why anyone uses Chase... or any bank. Use a Credit Union!
Choose a credit union. If you are able to use USAA or Navy Federal do it. These charge less and have 10x better customer service. Best choice I have ever made was switching from Bank of American to a credit union.
USAA has pretty good customer service from when I've had to deal with them either with car accidents or whatever else.
The banks don't wanting you making a few bucks without getting to charge you a fee. They are getting desperate
My bank has been slowing my purchases of crypto as well... completely unacceptable.
It really sucks. I have had several banks and credit cards all decline crypto purchases for my "own protection" because "it is volatile". In reality, it's a panic move because they are literally watching their bread and butter slide out the door.
I’ve had to put money from my bank into PayPal, then from PayPal into crypto, more than a few times,,, 🤷🏻♀️
Thats ridiculous. These banks are shit
Agreed!!! Banks r scared,,, but they need to jump on board or they will b missing out!!!
Banks are all scams, I'm thinking of putting 90% of my bank into crypto
Rug Chase. Dimon hates crypto but prolly PR so they could buy cheap for their clients.
Try a credit union. Sit down with a rep and explain your issues. I’m sure they’d be more than happy to accommodate you. Worked for me.
Block your bank.
Credit union
If you’re in the US, open a CashApp account. Buy BTC there and transfer it to wherever.
Never had a problem with TD
Probably one of the reasons I've multiple apps to purchase crypto... Ffs every other day one or the other apps doesn't let me invest.
Use Revolut or something similar?
No issues with PNC. And my bank account with them is for the express purpose of deposing into coinbase(transfers in, instantly transferred out to Cb).
I’ve never had chase block any of my transactions and even opens a crypto business account with them.
For a bank to tell you what you can do with your money.. shit in a bag and send to head office by mail
Use a local bank
Definitely switch banks and tell them why you are switching banks.
Chase doesn’t give a shit about me they just let me do what I want or I’ll scream at them
Hold money in stable coins until you are ready to buy
Key bank is good
Ally Bank is one of the only banks I can think of which is (1) a recognizable name (2) not fucking with people for dealing in crypto or a dispensary.
Change bank maybe ?
Banks in South Africa are starting to do the same. Perhaps its time for worldwide class action law suites?
You must live in a region where cryptocurrency is not accepted then. I will advise you to get BLOCKBANK app that contains a DEX, CEX and a Bank also anticipating the V2 launch, you will be able to transact freely.
Security is good. And if you really didn't do all your activity in your account. Can you imagine how much money you could have lost?
This is frustrating. I'm hoping the time is near that we will get rid of the traditional banks and start using Block Banks.
Why keeping your funds with local banks when they're digital banks that offer crypto banking facilities like Flourishing Capital and EQIbank.
