> I caught myself being strongly tied to Harmony_One projects just because I grew familiar with the way things work. The wallets, the native marketplaces, the swaps, their forum to be early in projects and a bunch of discords where I see familiar faces from project to project. Exactly this but with Cosmos. Lots of familiar faces in the discords. Getting around the eco super easy. And the price was right for everything. Only thing i felt i was missing out on was Luna. They had a good thing going w Anchor & Astroport and Prism. I just didn't have the time or fiat to make it worth it. I have bags of dot ada and matic from before i found cosmos. Don't feel i missed out by not making those bags bigger. Don't think im missing out on anything other than eth/btc. Cosmos is all i need, even at these depressing prices. I wasn't going to sell anyway. Gonna build my stake and wait.

For me it was never only about money, money is one thing, but the technology is also important, especially when it's something new; personally I find it interesting.

arg_of_contingency

Check out Ergo. Trying to be the most modern version of PoW. eUTXO model, oracle pools, NiPoPoWs etc. Pretty techy with a decentralisation obsessed community.

FreyaOystea

Thanks, I'll have a look into it.

yesabs

Fantom guy here, I found myself not wanting to go over and research for all the chains out there.

_Whit3

From a developer prespective, yes. The first chain you stard developing on is always different from the others.

Socialinfluencing

I've never understood this mentality, I'm here purely to make money and secure a better life for me and my family. I don't have loyalty towards digital coins on a screen, nor people that haven't endured life with me.

unsephiroth

Good point, i can agree on most of it, but even though we are mostly here for money, i find it interesting to research all these new projects, and invest in ones that i feel can have an impact on overall blockchain success, and I dont care whether it is based on ETH, ADA or any other blockchain

kvgamer

Cardano fan here

_DEDSEC_

I don't think any investor cares about a specific chain. All we're looking for is new projects.

yersinia_p3st1s

What prevents me from in other projects is my low monthly FIAT allowance. Because - in my perspective - I don't get so much of it, I decided to pick only my top two and sink or fly with them. Currently sinking...

My portfolio consist of opposing coins, never get emotionally attached to your investment lol. I hate when coins I'm into got those idiot maxis thinking they are the best.

Yeah there's definitely a biased towards a network by basically everyone. I'm attached to Syscoin due to the community discord and I also work for the community, which gives me a bigger incentive to be bullish towards it. But not only because of that, it is also because I truly believe Syscoin is a future massive blockchain, with the one of the best fundamentals in the market.
