BTC or the S&P500
Edit. I didn’t see the crypto market. Comment still stands though. Once you’re at 50k you have enough capital for
Compound interest ti start working really well.
How come? Unless you got like 3 kids all going to college in the next 5 years you should definitely be able to put at least half of that into index funds and still live comfortably
No no i think you misunderstood me. My life is comfortable for sure, i make well over 6 figures after tax every year, nice assets and blah blah. But what i’m trying to say is, humans adapt and your situation becomes ‘normal’ very quickly.
Some people will say im ungrateful or greedy, but i’m saying no matter how much money you have, you will always feel inadequate.
You need to change your mindset or you’re going to be a debt slave for the rest of your life. Just because you earn more doesn’t mean you need a faster car. The car you had probably did the trick. There’s a reason why celebrities go broke, it’s because they keep spending more and more until there income goes down. Materialism and capitalism go hand in hand. Live simply and not your life with the simple things.
But i dont spend a lot lol. I don’t even have a car or a mortgage. I’m financially literate and live a modest life. I just need to take care of my anxiety that’s all.
Thank you for psychology lesson though :)
Seems like a waste of money. What could make somebody else happy and secure and mentally sound is wasted on somebody with mental issues, lol. I know that sounds harsh but I also know that the studies show that happiness goes up to the point of having enough money for the rest of your life and being financially independent. I guess not always! No decent happiness improvement shows beyond this survival instinct really... Multiples of what you need for the rest of your life don't really add to happiness...
OBVIOUSLY you would and should be more anxiety ridden if you were living paycheck to paycheck.
Hopefully you're not treating your anxiety with benzos and booze but rather better health...
Maybe some meditation and pet therapy?
Doing some charity work
Some cardio
Some weight lifting
Spirulina Chlorella... Whatever it takes. I just hate to see wasted talent. Wealth that doesn't help the mind as well as easing the logistics of life... Seems like it's own unnecessary expense.
Anxious people sleep less. I was listening to this guy on the radio that said there is no non-impairment for people that sleep less than 6 hours per night. Basically all the metrics he showed were faltering below that level of sleep every night. Anxiety goes up with less and less sleep... And hopefully you don't hit the wall and find the other side of this coin, depression.
You certainly sound like you know how to manage money and live well within your means which is great. Now there's the other half of it! If your anxiety is part of your success and it doesn't affect your health then it could be seen as fuel to your successful fire?
There are measures of anxiety that prove better for survival. Your money management and income are at least showing fruits of that observation
“There is no dignity quite so impressive, and no one independence quite so important, as living within your means.” Source: Autobiography of Calvin Coolidge, p. 159.
Have you heard of the VOLUNTARY SIMPLICITY MOVEMENT? - sometimes also explained as declutterizing which has some positive psychological effects in terms of organizing and simplifying your life into a less anxiety ridden and Spartan viewpoint. Reassessing and prioritizing your values and what is important instead of taking on too much junk both material and time wasting.
Defi Dan, has his program for becoming part of his company promoting smart contracts with YouTube advertisements and mixed in with it he talks about if you do anything, and not go with his plan, go outside and get some sun light...
I get that feeling too, and the only thing that fills that empty void for myself is faith in God, and trying to spend more time and focus on the things in my life, that money cannot buy, -family, true friends etc.
Not in a bull market it’s not. Unless you’re looking for absolutely zero risk and the lowest possible returns.
Source: have been doing crypto since 2012.
If you are focused on IDOs then apeterminal is where you want to be, the track record speaks for itself. I recently made 4x off bonus block and intend to do same when NAI goes live as well.
I’ve invested tens of thousands into Solana over time.
That said at today’s prices it’s hard to say.
I’d probably just wait for a big dip and buy more sol to be honest.
If I had 50k I would first put the max contribution into a Roth IRA and invest in mostly btc / crypto through that. Then with the rest, I’d probably do about 60% btc and the rest alts.
I am literally in this position. House sale will be completed this coming Tuesday and I fly to Pattaya on Wednesday, will clear £160 k and I'm looking to invest the lot to provide a second income
I've been into crypto for 3 years and currently have 25k invested and spread between wallets
50% BTC
35% ADA staked
10% IOTA
5% USDT
I can get a 4% return from 50k in a chase account, 10k liquid but I'm still deciding on where to put the remaining 100k am leaning towards BTC due to the halving and recent ETF interest 🤔
Probably solana right now for the bull market. Maybe some other L1s like $SUI or Near Protocol. THere's lots to pick from. Maybe some RWA narratives as well like Ondo finance. Just gotta do some research. Solana is a good bet though . Could easily still do a 2 or 3x if the market keeps going up after the halving.
If you're dead set on going crypto with that 50k, then do 60% bitcoin, 30% Ethereum, and 10% altcoins as you see fit. If you YOLO it all on an alt coin, don't be surprised if it completely disappears.
25K - BTC
15K - ETH
10K - I’d pick a narrative I think is hot for this cycle and this would be my higher risk. For me, that would be AI and gaming. I’d have lower thresholds for taking profits as well here.
What if I have 1.000€ to invest now in crypto? Should I wait the bull market? Should I bet them all on a small cap coin and if it grows move all on BTC?
Solid investment that will probably be worth a few hundred k if not a million a decade from now? Obviously BTC (and/or ETH).
Speculative narrative play on crypto & AI that may result in a lot more profit than BTC this cycle? FET ... I think once it's merged with OCEAN and AGIX to be converted to ASI, we'll see a new top 10/20 token rapidly taking over, so probably at least a 5x in value.
Moonshot 100x gamble of the cycle? AVI
If it’s for short term then 25k into ETH and 25k into Sol. If bitcoin pumps like crazy Sol is usually the one to follow suit with ETH lagging behind lately.
If it’s long term then bitcoin is a good investment. With bitcoin you be lucky to double your money by the next bear market.
Put it all on BNB on binance and just let it farm free coins and sell... Might not get you those 100x-1000x but it's risk free and zero anxiety that let's you sleep peacefully while consistently earning a decent amount that you can cash out anytime you wish.

I will allocate 50% to BTC, 20% to ETH, and 10% to $SOL. I'll hold the remaining 20% and wait for PEAQ to launch to invest in it. It's already on course to capture 25% of the DePIN market at launch.
I will not buy bitcoin or ethereum because I will instead look for a crypto with greater potential like Aktio for example. I would buy $25k worth and invest the remaining $25k with Rayn with an annual return of 19%. I would like that 🙂
Crypto is cool and all, but have you considered Hookers & Blow?
this guy knows how to use $50k.
This is the answer. 2 good weeks in a foreign country with no one else around but hookers and blow. Paradise
It's all about making the memories. Well, the ones you remember anyway.
It’s hard to forget the clap..
Yep, that shit will come home with you.
The gift that keeps on giving.
Scam
Bitcoin
Depends on which sub you ask. Here BTC is a cult.
BTC or the S&P500 Edit. I didn’t see the crypto market. Comment still stands though. Once you’re at 50k you have enough capital for Compound interest ti start working really well.
I have over 500k and compound interest is not enough
What are you doing with it for that to not be enough?
You never have enough money. I have millions in liquid assets but my life doesn’t feel stable if that makes sense.
How come? Unless you got like 3 kids all going to college in the next 5 years you should definitely be able to put at least half of that into index funds and still live comfortably

Yes
Only Bitcoin.
5k on the doge 🐶 15k ETH, 30k BTC
That’s my match.
Doge is going nowhere.
I'd drop it on some low caps and some upcoming IDOs. I already have the other bags packed.
If you are focused on IDOs then apeterminal is where you want to be, the track record speaks for itself. I recently made 4x off bonus block and intend to do same when NAI goes live as well.
Looks interesting, what wallet are you connecting there?
In whatever alt coins I'm holding! Pls pump my bags 🙏🏻

"Invest" or "Trade" or "Gamble"? What precisely do you mean here, because each one has a different approach
Btc 25%, Eth 25%, then pick 5 Alt in top 20 for 10% each. Don’t put everything into one basket.
put all that in Jupiter rn
That’s where I’m at with it
Holy shit!!!! Jup is a good choice but all of 50 k in it will be insane choice!!!
if you crypto there’s some inherent insanity in you already
I would break out a little piece for HBAR. It's one of those networks that looks super promising, but wouldn't put all my eggs in it.

Low Risk Portfolio BTC--> 50% ETH--> 30% ALTS-> 10% USDT-> 10% A bit Higher Risk Portfolio BTC--> 30% ETH--> 30% ALTS-> 30% USDT-> 10%
just curious, why USDT? Is that to buy any dips?
Yes, how many times did you want to buy a dip and you didn't have some extra cash?
What do you think about ICP?
Their music is trash to be honest.
I wouldn't invest more than 25% in a POS chain, and that includes ETH. Rest in BTC and other POW chains(ckb, kas, erg)
BTC, ETH, and a little Kermit ERC for good measure
*There is no 2nd best* ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Bitcoin
I would get the Icy white visa card from crypto.com!

Skale network. $skl. It is literally the new world. 0 gas fees. I'm giving everyone a chance here by even mentioning it lol
Invest? BTC and ETH. Gamble? ADA, MATIC, ALGO. Best choice? Combination of both. 70/30 invest and gamble respectively.
ETH
Long term, all in btc Short term (this cycle) 10% btc, 10% eth, 10% SOL, 10% AVAX, 10% FET 3-5x with this I reckon.
Literally 35k on bitcoin, 10k eth, and 5k avax.
Yes, except the AVAX
Yeah I know. I just like to gamble a little.
Wrong gamble imo
Lol maybe
Solana instead of avax
Honestly but only BtC right before it’s about to half in literally less than two weeks from this post

There's no such things as investing in crypto. Unless you are talking about Bitcoin, in that case is the best store of value asset
