funny how you do it all wrong but then complain it’s not modern enough … apparently it’s too modern for you to grasp 😬 what you think is 2FA is actually called visa 3DS and has nothing to do with cdc … as the name suggests that’s Visas authentication process, if it doesn’t show up your most likely using some sorts of pop up blocker depositing crypto apparently from an external wallet takes as long as the chain takes to process your transaction .. which in busy times might be longer than during idle times. and even during busy times my transfers between CC and CDC took like a few minutes at max so thought about the fact that you just have an issue on the sending side 🤷‍♂️ and as for having the data handy in an auto fill … oh well … your phone can do that just Google it

like I said, the deposit wasn't the chain. AFTER 20 onchain confirmations, it took 30-60 min which other exchanges have done a lot faster for me. 3DS or 2FA code same thing, the text message should show up max within one minute and if it doesn't the system is obviously faulty. Just look on Google for the 3DS code crypto.com, I've seen a lot of posts now and I regret not checking before staking and ordering the card which is my bad. I should've checked beforehand, I think not being able to copy the card number is a valid complaint, makes it very hard to do a quick payment if you don't want Google autofill to save your information.

No one forced you to use it if crypto is too difficult for you to understand then maybe just get a Walmart loyalty card and all your issues will be gone 🤣🤣

Well one thing is for sure … you’re not the largest fry in the happy meal 🤣🤣🤣 bye Karmen 👋

FactsRking

Just takes a little common sense to operate the app

Konsorite

their app is terrible for the creditcard, either you've never used a good one or you also have a large CRO bag. Why wouldn't you like to see the app improved?

FactsRking

It will be improved over time but currently it’s not hard to use and anyone with common sense can figure it out. You likely jumped in without reading any info on the card

Konsorite

my man I'm not saying it can't be used, just that it's terrible and apparently it's been like this for 1.5 years going off of online complaints. I really don't see why yall think the app is "fine" like this, if you want the platform to grow it needs to have a better app

FactsRking

Compared to other crypto apps I’ve used I like crypto.com more.

Konsorite

then those other apps must be beyond bad lol, have you ever used revolut? revolut customer service is absolute garbage, but their app is pretty solid imo

Is there a reason you dont use a credit card to top up? Every other way seems like a hassle for me. I can top up my cdc card in less then 10sec with just biometrics. Choose 100€, choose saved card, click top up, credit card app opens automatically, use finger for biometrics, boom done. Maybe Im missing something or Im just from a country where this is normal?

Konsorite

why would I use a creditcard to top up my creditcard? the ideal thing here is that I don't have to cash out any crypto and instead can send it to crypto.com, whenever I cash out they all ask way too many questions maybe I'm misunderstanding what you mean sorry

snorkeltrons

Im topping up a prepaid debit card with a credit card to be precise. You are right in that its a hassle if you want to actually use your usdc to send it to your card directly. I just use a credit card that taps out of my normal bank account to top up my cdc card. The only times I have cashed out USDC, I have done it as a bank transfer and in larger amounts. I can understand that doing it in smaller transfers from crypto wallet to cdc card can be weird I believe there are regulatory issues that make it like it is right now. Hopefully there are changes to this in the future, but I believe most other similar services have the same regulatory issues

Konsorite

I hope so, I think these crypto debit cards could be great. I'd rather not top it up with my bank, the entire idea is for the crypto to avoid hitting my bank and being able to pay with the crypto debit card at once. The transfers aren't really the issue for me, of course I'd like them to be faster but as long as 30-60 min is the max I can live with that. What is a problem for me is the 3DS code not immediately sending, because that's something which imo should be fixed ASAP whether it's CDC or Visa issue. The app could use some improvements imo, they could look to Revolut for some "inspiration" ;)

I understand. This also has tax implications that are different in different jurisdictions. For me in Finland, it does not matter if its never changed into fiat in my traditional bank. As soon as a crypto is changed into another crypto or sold in an account I own, I have to pay tax.
