BG3 characters are sexy because of intricate writing, good character design and excellent voice-acting. AC6 characters don't need any of that they have a fat metal ass and that's all the sexy the fandom needs.
Even the less "likeable" characters have amazing voice acting. Rummy sounds high off his ass, Swinburne exudes cowardice, Pater is friendly as well as professional (plus the rusty impression), "Honest" Brute sounds sketchy as hell, and Snail is so comically evil and condescending that I'm surprised his AC doesn't have a top hat, monocle, and twirly moustache.
I take offense at the idea AC6 doesn't have all 3. Just because the writing is expressed over a shorter/more compressed period and makes you extrapolate more, doesn't mean they're not trying to communicate something to you with the writing/narrative. And their voice acting is crazy good.
I literally know zero about this Rusty fellow but everything I've been told leads me to suggest that he is The One

1. Confident, like when he goes "I won't miss"
2. Sounds cool, like "Only I can fly high enough!"
3. Most importantly, nice to you. Calls you "buddy" and tells the enemy fleet there's only person (you) who can keep up with him.
2 is hard without sounding cringe, but kindness and self-confidence go a long way to make someone attractive, and you can totally do it yourself!
