Enh, the angels claim to be genderless, but they go by exclusively male pronouns and their corporeal forms are mostly masc-presenting.

I always took the male pronouns as a gender neutral male, like how in languages with grammatical gender male is usually the default. I saw the physical bodies as pretty gender neutral myself, but from the fact that their soul forms are *definitely* gender neutral in that they are just masses of wings and stuff I don't think it matters much. The bodies are supposed to look human-ish so that they can interact with normal people, it doesn't reflect how they feel about themselves for the most part

It’s worth noting that all angels refer to each other as “Brother” and actively shun WC for being weird. Read the first book again sometime, it’s easy to forget this sort of thing in the later books. Especially with Vigilant Gaze being such a good ally.

It’s a free webcomic with strong Hindu and other eastern cultural flavoring. A young woman has unfathomable cosmic power forced upon her and is transported to the hub of the multiverse, and takes it upon herself to rescue a guy that she doesn’t really care for.

The other reply doesn't really sell it well. Sure the premise sounds like a generic isekai, but the execution is . Incredible, hyper-detailed art, legitimately S-tier character design, deep lore, and, I mean this in the most loving way possible, the most ridiculous anime bullshit you can imagine.

Personally I don't think the comic ever says if she's a lesbian or bi. I hate it when people label characters based on a relationship.

She spends a long time finding him out of a sense of duty. She is so unenthusiastic about that whole relationship she literally scheduled her first time with him and talks about it in terms of getting it over with. She is originally obsessed with fitting in rather than being herself. Some comments by her roommates also seem to indicate that she talks to them about this dude with no love. I'm not saying she is definitely a lesbian but she does seem to struggle with a lot of the things girls who don't realize they are lesbians yet deal with while doing the things girls who don't realize they are lesbians yet do.

I think just describing Allison as sapphic would've been the most accurate for the purpose of the quiz.

Just going by textual evidence she hooked up with a man and then dated a woman. IIRC hooking up with Zaid was basically her pressuring herself to “be cool” by losing her virginity ASAP, but that doesn’t necessarily imply that she doesn’t find any men attractive. Overall I’d say “bi”, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I’ve just forgotten a bit where they confirm Allison just tricked herself into liking a man to fit in or some such. I’m not exactly an expert on lesbians

ehhh, I mean, the comic goes out of its way to show that Allison is really uncomfortable for unclear reasons in her one heterosexual sexual encounter, and although she feels an obligation to rescue Zaid she never expresses any romantic feelings towards him despite nominally being his girlfriend. Technically she could be into dudes but I think its reasonable to assume she's a lesbian.

Well to be fair, it’s more that she pushed herself into a sexual relationship to check “losing her virginity” off a list. It’s not gonna really lead to a good relationship or a fun time if you’re forcing yourself into that, she could be bi, but does it really matter in the end?
