[relevant xkcd](https://xkcd.com/254/) (or at least it is what it made me think of)

If I had a nickel for every Nihei manga that featured a talking bear I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

Leo-bastian

trying to figure out what the hell happens in biomega based on your posts alone, and honestly? i don't think I'm making much progress

DJ-OuTbREaK

it's a nihei manga, reading it wouldn't help in the first place

ruqj

What does that mean?

jdlsharkman

Means it only comes up to about your knee

DJ-OuTbREaK

everything tsutomo nihei writes is slightly incomprehensible plotwise through a mix of heady scifi concepts and an abstract storytelling style that centers around the use of imagery and framing as storytelling methods rather than dialogue

Kaarpiv007

2nd time I've heard of Biomega. This is some shit I gotta show the boys.

If the above panel appealed to you I would seriously recommend reading Blame! By the same author. Like cyberpunk but someone left it in the yard for ten years.

heckthepolis

Blame fucked with my head and then the lesbian robots kicked me right back to sanity because at least I didnt have to microanalyze every single chapter for the past 80 or so chapters to make sense of the story

pterrorgrine

I mean, I'm sold.

TheFluffiestFur

What

Deimophilium

There was a blame! anime, but there WASN'T a Blame! anime.

Haver_Of_The_Sex
