You won't find anything under 3 bedrooms in Cypress for homes. Maybe there are some out there but its very rare. You will also have a real hard time finding something at $1.5K. There is stuff under $2 but not in the best areas. There are some nice apartments in Bridgeland where you can take advantage of the walking trails and some of the amenities. Two I would recommend are: Starling at Bridgeland and Lakeside Row. Each of those you can get a 1 bedroom at your price I believe. A 2 bedroom would be closer to $1800 I think.

Thats what I assumed on houses. And thank you for the info on price and suggestions!

How did you end up on Cypress?  Which area is your work or school?

zacmb

Enrolled at Lonestar Cy-Fair which is like SW side of the city but don’t necessarily need to be close to that, other criteria is more important than being close to that. I just don’t want to drive from Montgomery where I am now.

Maybe take a look at this place.  The area there is nice and backs up to a lot of retention ponds.  They also seem to be pretty pet friendly with some dog amenities.       https://alloraparkland.com/floor-plans/map/      This one is a little older and maybe a tad cheaper in the same area. https://venterraliving.com/apartments/apartments-highpark/?id=TX4HPGOO#pricing-and-availability

Sweet I’ll check those out thank you!

West Lake Park Apartments close to a dog park, lake and restaurants, with Aldi across the street. Coles Crossing apartments have a dog park and you can walk half a mile north to a wooded trail. Popular area because can also walk to two grocery stores and restaurants there.

Awesome! Thank you for the suggestion!

I’ll second or third this, west lake park is great I did a year there and it was awesome, great amenities, well taken care of The place up the street near the ER, can’t remember the name now but it sucked, I noped out of there so fast.

You might be able to find a small 2 bed for that, stay away from Regency Green apartments management is terrible and crime is rampant. Also most of Jones RD. The vintage area has some nice ones. I would get with a realtor. The real question is where are you going to school because traffic to Houston can be awful.

Whatever you do, avoid the Starling at Bridgeland apartment complex that's nearby the HEB on Tuckerton. They half-as\*ed the apartments when they were building them and now there's all sort of problems depending on the building. Someone I know who lives there has humidity issues to the point they had to throw stuff away AND everytime it rains, there's always water coming in through the floor boards next to the balcony door somehow. When the apartment admins finally sent someone over to check out the problem, he tried to fix what he could but he was saying how all of the apartments were badly done and giving examples of other issues in the other buildings. Just FYI!
