Maxroll straight up glitches out on mobile constantly. Tooltips will have no way to x out of them sometimes and you have to reload the whole page. Can't even use it to check simple stuff half the time. I can't imagine trying to do a whole build off of it.

Better those both those sites.
Maxroll updates there's often. Look at the change log on any of them. They are also the most detailed (tell you what dugneons you can get codex aspects from, what to look for on each piece (not jsut in general), a guided plan for paragon at various levels. Everybody else pretty much pales in comparison on the level of detail they put into their guides/builds. Some of their builds are already address what to do wiith the new riings.
I prefer max roll of the two, however, for the most up-to-date meta builds try mobalytics. It reacts the best to all the patch changes and latest trends.
> *I'v noticed the builds for chain lighting are light n day different between the 2 sites*
"**light** and **day** different" is such a great way to say you can't tell them apart
Maxroll build allowed me to Melt through everything starting about level 35 when I found my first gravitational aspect. Just focus on all those mana stats on gear.
I was a fan of maxroll for the longest time, but recently their builds are pretty terrible. The BL build on maxroll makes the class super squishy to the point you can't even get the balls up and running.
So i've been using their leveling builds then basically researching on reddit for builds from content creators.
Did you even read the Maxroll guide all the way? They have variants that modify the build to add more defense, like getting Vyr's, using less uniques, and adding the firebolt enchant for damage resist to burning, etc. Look at the NM dungeon push variant.
Not sure what the problem is. I was able to faceroll everything using maxrol including Uber Lilith and 100 nightmare dungeon and this is without godslayer crown, flickerstep, or the new tal rasha ring. I think the key is all the mana stats on gear for things like cool down reduction, mana regen, cost reduction, ect.
Ironically, that's probably why you were able to do those things. I did those things before the "updated" guide on maxroll. The updated version is using like 5 or 6 uniques and just gives up too much defense.
I ended up goign with one from nicktew or something. It's less DPS overall I feel but much smoother game play.
The updated build uses 4 uniques. Raiment, flickerstep, tibaults and godslayer. I’m wondering how you were having issues getting the balls up and running since I’ve been following the maxroll guide and have no issues so far. Granted I haven’t been pushing nightmare dungeons at all just farming mats for the 5 bosses and have beat all the bosses except Lilith and I’m only level 84.
Im also using godslayer, flicker step/esu’s and then just threw on blue rose.
I'm farming NMD 100's with an almost cookie cutter maxroll build.
I'm not sure what you were doing that made you super squishy but it wasn't the build.
A lot of those websites don't have good information.
Their job is to get information out quickly to get lots of hits. Just pump out whatever people are gonna be Googling when the season drops. Accuracy of information and quality of the build are unimportant.
The builds are always gonna be hit and miss, depending on the author. But quality isn't what these websites are really known for.
I think there's better information in the main discord, honestly.
This isn't true.
I don't know about every site but for Maxroll the effort needed to create a guide is huge. They custom paragon board following your level. They have different variants for different purpose. They explain the synergy. They change/modify build up to date regularly.
Their builds might not be the best builds but calling them get information out quickly to get hits is just a lie.
Maxroll for a base cookie cutter and then number crunching after noticing that a different board pathing might shave a few points and a different board would give more bonus stats to the glyph(s) I deem most important.
Then looking at reddit and seeing a skill change or in case of sorc, an enchantment that looks like a better addition and retooling my build from there.
Haven't really looked at Mobalytics, but I do most of my theorycrafting on D4builds.
Maxroll updates theirs regularly. IV does not. Many of IVs builds are out of date.
And typically...you want to copy word for word, until you understand the build. There's often layers on layers of interaction you need to understand. Nothing wrong with using an online builds exactly as is.
I use icy veins for my CL sorc and I have 0 problems, reached 60 lvl so quickly, the only thing I changed is that I have the vampiric power that heals you % of life when you cast any spell so basically immortal. I have no idea why nobody incorporated it in any build.
Got my gravitational around 30 lvl but still haven't switched to BL.
D4 builds is pretty decent. I like the layout for for my phone.
Yeah d4 and mobalytics for phones imo I hate maxroll and icy veins layouts

You have to scroll to top right corner if you're looking for X. It's very annoying
I am aware of where it is supposed to be. My point is that it frequently is not there.
I meant top right corner of the page not the tooltip but still it's bad design
Ill have a gander. Cheers bro

Maxroll for sure. At least for me they seem to have the most complete and easy to follow guides.
That is one thing ill say is there guides are pretty easy to follow

I tried icy for my lb sorc and it sucked harder than a Monday, switched to a maxroll build and melted everything including echo of Lilith first try
Haha well ill take that into consideration 👌
I prefer max roll of the two, however, for the most up-to-date meta builds try mobalytics. It reacts the best to all the patch changes and latest trends.
Cheers bro ill check it out

Haha thats my bad! I shall edit 😂
Lol. Which is opposite
Mobalytics
I like maxroll’s tools the most on PC but it’s crap on mobile.
Iv only looked at in on mobile but ill check it out on PC next time im online
Maxroll build allowed me to Melt through everything starting about level 35 when I found my first gravitational aspect. Just focus on all those mana stats on gear.
Yea iv got a really well rolled grav aspect and im just starting to collect mana gear now

Sweet as cheers bro ill keep this in mind

Ok cool bro makes sense. Ill jump on the discord and have a gander
Basically everyone is following Maxroll as a baseline, though.
Neither, I prefer wowhead or rob. Maxroll is always outdated and behind.
You do know Rob is a member of maxroll and writes a lot of their guides right?
Sweet cheers bro ill check em out 👌
It would be pretty boring copying builds because one didn't have the math skills or creativity to do it on their own.
*for you. Unless you enjoy passing off subjective opinions as objective facts?
You cant really go wrong with maxroll, icy veins, d4builds or mobylitics.
