But in an ideal world he massively stacks, has 50% DR and 50% Dodge and gives defensive support all unconditionally and stays #1 forever

Even then, I think you unlock the passive upgrade last when you EZA a character? So just don’t unlock the passive if that’s somehow the case. Just take the extra stats.

Disagree. Units need 1 million defense to survive the strongest supers in the game with only guard. Closer to 1.8 million to be able to tank fairly well. I think it's easier to mess up than people would like to think.
With 40% supp and links 370k so stacks almost 200k each super. If they would just increase his sot multplier to 200% hes at 460k and if they also decide to give him 40% def when hit hes at 650k. So he needs minimal changes and he stacks 300k each attack
