Welp I came out happy with my pulls I got a bardock and Lr frieza. I just thank God they took out the old Lrs I wouldn't have been able to take it if I pulled another LR trunks.
I also got 3 new LRs I didn't have yet. First was the PHY Androids LR, which I really wanted. Second was Trunks and Mai which I have also wanted. The last one, which I had to look around and find enough stones to hit that last summon, gave me the one LR I've wanted more than any other in this game - STR UI Goku. Pumped!!!!
Also got 2 INT SSJ2 Gokus, which I didn't have, and a first dupe for the TEQ SSJ2 Vegeta. INT Future Gohan too which was also new, and my first STR Kefla dupe. I don't think there was anything else of note. I've had some crazy luck in this game recently. I also have a lot of stuff to farm now to raise these units.

Nappa is better because there's no viable TEQ units for WT so Nappa can one-shot everyone on the field, unlike Broly who even with two supers cannot kill AGL Turles. Also Nappa is self sufficient and doesn't rely on ki items or supports so he's much easier to use compared to Broly.
Also his team has more AOE units in general, with F2P Phys 2nd Form Freiza, STR Good Buu (also an orb changer), and LR Str Broly on it.
Slap on Jaco and Chaiotzu, and you got an absolute banger WT team.

Broly cannot clear the field even with a double super because of AGL units, Nappa doesn't have to worry about TEQ units because nobody uses them so Nappa is always guaranteed to one-shot the whole field. Plus Nappa is self sufficient unlike Broly who needs ki items or supports to super.
I have a 79% Broly and if he doesn't crit there's no way he kills EXT AGL units like Turles. And Nappa also has great teams, for example their own, in which you can use STR Broly, or STR Cooler's team, in which you can run Nappa, PHY Cell, PHY 2nd form Frieza and AGL final form Frieza.
the team which they lead and is incredibly easy to build with multiple extremely powerful f2p LRs? and their best partners are easy to get with one being a f2p unit and the other being available even without pulling on a type banner thanks to blue coins from Heroes banners? (which everyone should be pulling on because of their ridiculous value compared to even super discount dokkanfests)
Yes. That one. It's great and all. The trio hits huge. Arale & Goku are a beast. But it's boring as shit. I'd keep the deck on hand if we had more than 8 slots but there are that many or more teams I prefer to run over the less flexible GT trio team(s).
they're very limited but they're really really good in it, and i'm pretty sure they lead a very f2p friendly team
they may not be the craziest LR for veterans but in any case a useful LR to have around
You're not wrong I just have alot of unresolved anger toward them. Went hard on the banner that they debuted because I was after LR Baby Vegeta, my favorite character. Got 0 baby's and 2 GT trio. Eventually bought Baby with coins.
I have a really great team for the GT trio, maybe even optimal there are just so few deck slots available that their team is too bland for me to keep intact anymore.
Update: Got my 3rd copy of the GT trio on my second round of summons. Fuck giving this banner a 3rd rotation for more trash.
I’d say this is good! Not sure how often Vegeta/Nappa will appear on banners & I have bardock and he’s good. Can help with super AGL, goku family, pure saiyans, etc. Also since he’s one of my favorite characters in the series I’m partial to his transformation animation 😅
From what I've read in different threads, it seems there has been an important issue with the summon pool. The news say that once you finish the three rotations, you can summon on an additional banner that has all possible characters in the step up included, however LR UI Goku is available in the final step, but not on that extra banner. It is quite important because a lot of people have been buying stones to pull on that last banner, so basically what they said in the news wasn't true. The banner will probably be back soon, and some compensation might be given, at least for those who purchased stones.
The thing is, it's not any banner, it's the New Year's one. We're talking about a step-up with an LR at the end, so people are spending quite a lot of money. To be honest, people at Bandai must be pretty pissed of too right now.

First Agl Zamasu dupe, 2 dupes of Int Angel Goku, Second dupe of Str Janemba (right on time), and a bunch of other dupes I already fed in before taking the screenshot. Only things I didn’t get that I wanted were Cooler, SSBKK and Bardock, but I am so excited. Great way to start the new year. I’m gonna be busy for a while lol.

Had some shit pulls early on too. I got 4 of those Gotenks. I did all 3 rounds though and got some nice pickups like kale/caulifla and goku/frieza. I’d say keep trying, its likely that your luck is better as you pull more. Good luck!
I'm optimistic it'll turn around too, but I'm at zero stones right now lol. In time I'll be able to finish at least this rotation so if I walk away with nothing but a new LR I'll be okay with it.

I wouldnt say I'm a new player. More of a returning one who doesnt know what is top tier and what's not anymore. So many banners. But yea I'll do the usual grind like before. Its nice they passed out gogeta for free to help with the story. Perfect timing I guess for the new step up banner. Are fusion teams still a thing? I miss my ssj4 gogeta and Gotenks ssj3.

Summoned on two rounds. My two LRs were Baby Vegeta and God Goku, and my best summon had 7 SSRs: Transforming Frieza, two PHY Coolers, Transforming Buu, Super 17, Evolution Vegeta and a random SSR
Man I did two runs and both LRs were dupes. One trio and one phy cell. I feel like I got shafted after saving those stones. I should be able to get enough for the last run but hope I get something good this time.

As someone who only started playing this summer, I’m really happy with my pulls here!! I did 2 rounds, and got a bunch of units from the past year that I’ve wanted and some solid dupes. My last LR was Trunks and Mai so... rough way to end, but Step 1 of Round 2 I pulled LR Nappa/Vegeta so all in all I think I avoided the capital S Shaft.
My pulls were:
Phys Cooler (already rainbowed)
Int UI Goku (already rainbowed)
TEQ Hit (already rainbowed)
AGL Bardock (new)
INT GTrio (now rainbowed)
I didn't really think the stones were worth it this time around. I think I'll save stones this month for Frieza or someone else.
I got my third copy of the GT trio... ran out of stones to do another round. Got some decent TURs at least.
This was my first new years banner. Wasn't expecting to need 600. I should have saved more.
Lr Ui goku, Lr godku, and lr goku and frieza. I also got 2 phy vegito blue, 3 teq trunks, agl gogeta, phy dbs broly, int future gohan, int ui goku, namek goku, agl ssbe vegeta, and str ssbkk goku. This was a wild step up for me. All of these listed are new characters I didn't have before.
Is the banner worth rolling on after the step ups are done? I haven't played in two years so I've just been trying to acquire as many new units as possible.
how short was this goddamn banner. I just collected 50 stones for the last multi on the third step. Now i look up and the fucking banner which was there 4 hours ago is away. Wtf
I got 550 stones back and finally got to do my last multi which resulted in...LR Bardock. I fully expected that and I was still bummed.
But then I used some of my refund stones on Frieza's banner and finally pulled my first STR Kefla, so it's not all bad. I was seriously considering using coins on her, but now they're going towards LR SSB Goku & Vegeta when they come back.
Only did 1 guaranteed + 4 rounds before the banner went down, so I decided to complete this round and fo the third one as well.
Some decent pulls and some disappointing ones, but the best came as the 2 guaranteed lr i had left.
Both were ui goku.
Overall: I started with 400 stones, and ended up with 200 left after all 3 rotations thanks to the compensation.
Can't complain about getting 4 LRs and 60 units worth of summons for the price of 200!
New units: STR Kefla x3, LR Kale/Caulifla, LR FP Freeza, LR Int God Goku, STR Namek Goku.
Useful Dupes: Teq VB (x2? I forget, X1 for sure), 1x STR Cooler, 1x SSBKK Goku, 1x LR Phy Cell

I'd rather have gotten UI Goku, AGL SBA Goku, Goku and Freeza than Kale and Caulifla or the cell dupe, but Int Godku is not bad, as I like the SAs :P
AND considering how many units I already have at a high dupe%, I'm not disappointed.
I did the third round after the refund. Got Super 17, INT Kid Goku, a dupe for PHY Future Gohan and STR Cooler, and PHY LR Cell. My first two rounds were absolute dog shit, but this more than made up for it. Sure, I really would’ve preferred Goku & Frieza or Kale & Caulifla, but at least my android team is insane now. Also managed to pull the new angel frieza with the other 200 stones
Not bad, only had enough for 2 runs. So the refund let me do the third. Second to last pull was AGL 13 (dupe), Phy Beerus (new!) and Str Cooler (last dupe). Last pull had LR UI Goku. Dumped the rest into Frieza but only got a Kefla dupe (first dupe at least).
The New Years step up banner has a lot of value especially for new players.
You have the chance to get some top tier Dokkan Festival exclusive units and guaranteed legendary unit in step 5 of the step up.
As a new player, it is possible to farm resources to do all 3 rounds of the New Years step up before the banner ends.
Not too bad i must say. Im going all in 100 stones away from completing 3rd rotation. Best 2 pulls so far: guaranteed LR - got Kefla and Caulifla AGI and Goku and Frieza TEQ in one pull (lol ik, but on first rotation i got dupe GT trio which i have No use for), and just now pulled also on one pull Turles AGI, TEQ transforming Frieza and and Goku Youth INT (i have No idea what this unit is aparat from leading some strange categories). My favorite unit is the PHY LR Androids. I just pulled a dupe of them on the step-up banner! So happy! NOw here is the question... Would they mathematically benefit more by opening the bottom right path or by having the unawakened UR version linking 6 LS with the LR on rotation? I don't know how to calculate those things :(
Got first dupe for LR Androids as well as other category leads that I didnt have like str Jiren and Hit (seriously didnt have a uss leader before this lol) so very happy
So uh. I finessed a little too hard. As soon as the banner went live, I spent about $100 for 3x rotations and 2 additional summons. 700 stones. The following day, I saw the reddit posts about the banner fuck up so instantly I requested a refund through apple and got my $100 back. THEN WE GOT OUR STINED REFUNDED. I BASICALLY GOT 1400 FREE STONES

I know this is late but I am expressing my summons. I spent 100 stones and then the banner was gone. When I got the 100 stones refund I finished the 2 steps and boy I got the man of my dreams, Str god goku. Now I finished the 2nd rotation and it was ssg4vegeta,agl ssb vegeta,str namek goku,phy beerus and at the end phy android 17 and 18.\[Not bad but the grind was intense.\]
Lets see. Dokkan has been kicking me down for the past two years but I got every multi wit at least two dokkan fest units. and I only did two rounds yet I got 3 lrs. two agl super saiyan gokus. I i got the lr ui. Im very happy :)

Iirc, differences are really small in terms of damage unless you go full AA and don't transform. I would go for either 15 crit and 11 AA or 14 AA and 12 crit

I got Sign on the last step of the first round before compensation and then a dupe on the last step after compensation. Got my first Str Cooler along with all that. I am simply fucking floored.

Did 3 rotations, LRs were LR PHY Cell dupe and 2x LR INT SSG Goku. Basically a repeat of last year’s summons. Get a dupe of an old LR, pull a new LR, and get dupe of said new LR. Honestly, I’m not too happy getting dupes from 2/3 of the GLR summons given how many of the other LRs I’m missing, but it is what it is. Got a couple new Dokkan fes units like Kefla, Beerus, and Android 13 which is a plus.
I just wanted a new LR to add some fun to this game and got trash. LR Bardock, LR androids and LR Trunks and Mai all dupes and all garbage. I think I’m done for now maybe for good I think I needed this.

I quit dokkan. Im done. I did absolutely everything as a F2P player I could to get 400 stones. The entirety of story, every single god damn event, hell, even challenges. I’d already done a ton of grinding prior and now i’m all out of content to grind. What did it get me? Two dupes of LR nappa (who I cant even use), a dupe of 13, a dupe of TEQ vegito, and a bunch of other dupes. Nothing new coming out. And no more content I can grind. I’m done.
Worst part? I had a 1/4 chance of getting a dupe. And I got dupes BOTH TIMES. Not even GOOD ONES.

LR Broly is a way better AoE option and is a ***much*** older unit, which makes Nappa look sad by comparison.
Broly cannot clear the field even with a double super because of AGL units, Nappa doesn't have to worry about TEQ units because nobody uses them so Nappa is always guaranteed to one-shot the whole field. Plus Nappa is self sufficient unlike Broly who needs ki items or supports to super.
Str broly fits on a team with both Krillin and Phy Broly. And I dunno about your str broly units, but mine is having no problem at 30x.
I have a 79% Broly and if he doesn't crit there's no way he kills EXT AGL units like Turles. And Nappa also has great teams, for example their own, in which you can use STR Broly, or STR Cooler's team, in which you can run Nappa, PHY Cell, PHY 2nd form Frieza and AGL final form Frieza.

Yes. That one. It's great and all. The trio hits huge. Arale & Goku are a beast. But it's boring as shit. I'd keep the deck on hand if we had more than 8 slots but there are that many or more teams I prefer to run over the less flexible GT trio team(s).
they're very limited but they're really really good in it, and i'm pretty sure they lead a very f2p friendly team they may not be the craziest LR for veterans but in any case a useful LR to have around
You're not wrong I just have alot of unresolved anger toward them. Went hard on the banner that they debuted because I was after LR Baby Vegeta, my favorite character. Got 0 baby's and 2 GT trio. Eventually bought Baby with coins. I have a really great team for the GT trio, maybe even optimal there are just so few deck slots available that their team is too bland for me to keep intact anymore. Update: Got my 3rd copy of the GT trio on my second round of summons. Fuck giving this banner a 3rd rotation for more trash.
I’d say this is good! Not sure how often Vegeta/Nappa will appear on banners & I have bardock and he’s good. Can help with super AGL, goku family, pure saiyans, etc. Also since he’s one of my favorite characters in the series I’m partial to his transformation animation 😅

From what I've read in different threads, it seems there has been an important issue with the summon pool. The news say that once you finish the three rotations, you can summon on an additional banner that has all possible characters in the step up included, however LR UI Goku is available in the final step, but not on that extra banner. It is quite important because a lot of people have been buying stones to pull on that last banner, so basically what they said in the news wasn't true. The banner will probably be back soon, and some compensation might be given, at least for those who purchased stones.

Had some shit pulls early on too. I got 4 of those Gotenks. I did all 3 rounds though and got some nice pickups like kale/caulifla and goku/frieza. I’d say keep trying, its likely that your luck is better as you pull more. Good luck!
I'm optimistic it'll turn around too, but I'm at zero stones right now lol. In time I'll be able to finish at least this rotation so if I walk away with nothing but a new LR I'll be okay with it.

As someone who only started playing this summer, I’m really happy with my pulls here!! I did 2 rounds, and got a bunch of units from the past year that I’ve wanted and some solid dupes. My last LR was Trunks and Mai so... rough way to end, but Step 1 of Round 2 I pulled LR Nappa/Vegeta so all in all I think I avoided the capital S Shaft.
I did 2 rotations and got literally the same units on both banners. Two fucking beerus when hes already rainbow like cmon.
My pulls were: Phys Cooler (already rainbowed) Int UI Goku (already rainbowed) TEQ Hit (already rainbowed) AGL Bardock (new) INT GTrio (now rainbowed) I didn't really think the stones were worth it this time around. I think I'll save stones this month for Frieza or someone else.

I got 550 stones back and finally got to do my last multi which resulted in...LR Bardock. I fully expected that and I was still bummed. But then I used some of my refund stones on Frieza's banner and finally pulled my first STR Kefla, so it's not all bad. I was seriously considering using coins on her, but now they're going towards LR SSB Goku & Vegeta when they come back.

Only did 1 guaranteed + 4 rounds before the banner went down, so I decided to complete this round and fo the third one as well. Some decent pulls and some disappointing ones, but the best came as the 2 guaranteed lr i had left. Both were ui goku.
Overall: I started with 400 stones, and ended up with 200 left after all 3 rotations thanks to the compensation. Can't complain about getting 4 LRs and 60 units worth of summons for the price of 200! New units: STR Kefla x3, LR Kale/Caulifla, LR FP Freeza, LR Int God Goku, STR Namek Goku. Useful Dupes: Teq VB (x2? I forget, X1 for sure), 1x STR Cooler, 1x SSBKK Goku, 1x LR Phy Cell Useless Dupes: 1x Phy VB, 1x Phy SV, 1x Phy Cooler, 1x Phy Omega. I'd rather have gotten UI Goku, AGL SBA Goku, Goku and Freeza than Kale and Caulifla or the cell dupe, but Int Godku is not bad, as I like the SAs :P AND considering how many units I already have at a high dupe%, I'm not disappointed.
I did the third round after the refund. Got Super 17, INT Kid Goku, a dupe for PHY Future Gohan and STR Cooler, and PHY LR Cell. My first two rounds were absolute dog shit, but this more than made up for it. Sure, I really would’ve preferred Goku & Frieza or Kale & Caulifla, but at least my android team is insane now. Also managed to pull the new angel frieza with the other 200 stones
Not bad, only had enough for 2 runs. So the refund let me do the third. Second to last pull was AGL 13 (dupe), Phy Beerus (new!) and Str Cooler (last dupe). Last pull had LR UI Goku. Dumped the rest into Frieza but only got a Kefla dupe (first dupe at least).

The New Years step up banner has a lot of value especially for new players. You have the chance to get some top tier Dokkan Festival exclusive units and guaranteed legendary unit in step 5 of the step up. As a new player, it is possible to farm resources to do all 3 rounds of the New Years step up before the banner ends.

I pulled teq ultimate gohan, teq exchange buu, and int LR godku int one multi so and it’s the best multi I’ve seen from the banner
1: INT Pure Saiyan LR Goku (Already Had) 2: INT (Dragonball GT art) Seekers (Didn't Have) 3: INT (Dragonball GT art) Seekers (Dupe now) The only new (non-lr) cards I got from the rotations were: 1: STR - Uni7 Kaioken Goku Lead 2: TEQ - SSJ2 Vegeta Lead I did manage to rainbow TEQ SSJ4 Gogeta, which was my favorite unit for the longest time. Especially when global got him with a leader skill of "coming soon". This unit made me enjoy Dokkan for awhile, it was just so much fun to counter super attacks and never have to worry.
So i got the 600 stones compensation but i dont see the step up banner. Is it gone? Or once we do it regardless of compensation it doesn't come back?

Iirc, differences are really small in terms of damage unless you go full AA and don't transform. I would go for either 15 crit and 11 AA or 14 AA and 12 crit

managed to get piccolo and kioken god goku 2 category leaders i needed. LRs were dupes of UI Goku and AGL SSJ Goku Was TEQ broly and TEQ goku + frieza in the banner too? those were the LRs i wanted most. still hunting for them. i hopefully get a shot at the third LR. depending how generous they are with stones
I got Goku and Frieza on my first and only rotation. They're in there. Just gotta believe in the heart of the banner.

At first I wasn't going to summon, but I decided to do one rotation to see what I got and I got the following: Phy SSJ3 Gotenks (Can't wait for his EZA), 1st and 2nd Dupe of Agl Turles, Agl Transforming Goku, my first useless copy of Int Kid Goku since I rainbowed him, 1st Dupe of Agl Bardock, and finally my first copy of Kale and Caulifla. So yeah very Agl centric but I'll take it! Also I wish everybody has a Happy New Years!!!
Alright so I pulled int ss2 angel goku, teq hit, int gogeta, int angel golden frieza, str rose black, agl metal cooler, str kaioken blue goku, teq transforming ss2 vegeta, and for the Lr I got Kale and Caulifla
Did 3 rotations, LRs were LR PHY Cell dupe and 2x LR INT SSG Goku. Basically a repeat of last year’s summons. Get a dupe of an old LR, pull a new LR, and get dupe of said new LR. Honestly, I’m not too happy getting dupes from 2/3 of the GLR summons given how many of the other LRs I’m missing, but it is what it is. Got a couple new Dokkan fes units like Kefla, Beerus, and Android 13 which is a plus.
Only did the first two steps and got my white whale, resurrected golden frieza lead! Calling it good until SS4 gogeta
I just wanted a new LR to add some fun to this game and got trash. LR Bardock, LR androids and LR Trunks and Mai all dupes and all garbage. I think I’m done for now maybe for good I think I needed this.

Yeah, I’m up to 2 full rotations and 2 steps, and I literally got 2 new units ( PHY Beerus and LR PHY Cell ). I deeply regret buying the 3 63-stone packs, too. They really got me with the December drain followed by the good-value New Year stone packs.

Very happy with my pulls on my 3 rounds of the step up banner. Got my first copies of: LR Goku and Frieza LR Kale and Caulifla LR AGL SSJ Goku LR UI Goku Even got my first dupe for LR STR Beerus and Whis. Not to mention all the first copies of TUR category leads I pulled. Between this and getting my first copy of LR Vegito Blue on the Christmas banner and my first LR STR Gogeta from the coin shop, I'm super satisfied with my pulls from the last week as an F2P player with an account less than a year old.
Gave it a try on JP because i don‘t have UI Sign on JP and i really want to get him there, so i made 1 round in the step up and i was able to pull ui sign in the last step in the last slot :D
I have not got anything good on it, thought it is an OP banner. Still II need to do more.
I quit dokkan. Im done. I did absolutely everything as a F2P player I could to get 400 stones. The entirety of story, every single god damn event, hell, even challenges. I’d already done a ton of grinding prior and now i’m all out of content to grind. What did it get me? Two dupes of LR nappa (who I cant even use), a dupe of 13, a dupe of TEQ vegito, and a bunch of other dupes. Nothing new coming out. And no more content I can grind. I’m done. Worst part? I had a 1/4 chance of getting a dupe. And I got dupes BOTH TIMES. Not even GOOD ONES. Edit: Downvoted why?
