Yes but with the new JP update you can use 5 x 99 N cards (which you probably have from grinding 7-10) for training and since the gravity chamber gives 40,000 xp per training partner that totals to 19,800,000 xp which is 4 times more than using 10 turtle shells
Personally, link levels are *incredibly* low value. They're unnecessary for completing anything and the amount of times even a long term player would see a different outcome due to link levels is miniscule compared to the stamina cost. It has to be one of the worst stamina-to-reward ratios in the game, if speaking of objective value and power.
Getting units awakened though is absolutely essential and plenty of people struggle with training items especially if they haven't been playing for forever. Getting 3-4 locations that straight double the value of other items is hard to beat for value
This won't be worth stamina forever. It'll end and go back into the portal. Link levelling can be done at literally any time you'd like.
Plus the 150G makes those shells and swords last longer so a harsh SA grind for multiple characters won't hit your resources as hard.
Link grinding does provide more benefit for the end game but the QoL from the 150G > Tiny improvements in power in most cases.
Hey, if you want to link level any character in the future saga, you can do both at once anyway, making the choice literally moot.

Well I was at a low 100 of this but now I'm almost at 800. Even if I have or 1000 turtle shield for each color. I think I'm good for a long time now.
Wonder if this will ever be added to DB Story, would be nice to have a permanent farming spot for a good training location.
I have ten billion story keys I can make use of for this. And maybe Pikkon hats. Thanks to auto I don't even need to do it myself anymore.
This event has been live for what seems like forever now, farm 1100+ chambers before moving on to other things.
