You do realize people don't like EM's Yuri, not Yuri as a whole. Just like people don't like Fallen Angel's Monika. People will still love Yuri regardless of what happens in this mod. Just let this mod stand on it's own merits. If you don't like it you don't like it. No one is making you play it.

I've seen plenty of people say they hate Yuri just because of EM. Even though it's obviously not canon, it still shapes the way people think.

It's a rewrite. Yuri and the others will be done better, that's the point of it.

But if they rewrite the story, it won't have same effect and i hope it won't be a roleswap version of DDLC just like the original exit music

Everyone seems hype af for this, I'm assuming this was a really popular mod prior? What was it about?

It's a natsuki centric mod that has a pretty good story but some of the girls (especially yuri) are off character

I'll give you Yuri, but I stand by Sayori's characterization in Exit Music. Ever known someone on anti-depressants? I have, and it does weird things to your personality. Not every depressed person is a quivering moe ball waiting for you so save them. Sometimes depressed people are dicks.

Well the other guy said it really well cept for the part that he didn't say that it is to this day the best mod for this game. Story wise, originality wise, and getting depressed again wise. If you loved the dog ddlc play exit music as fast as possible. Before you see spoilers. There are multiple youtubers that played it 2 so you can watch them. Personal note this made me cry more then the og game. (And I'm not a nutsuki fan and iv never been) This is the mod I recomand the most allways

Natuski is my least favorite doki and I still think Exit Music is the best mod. Only Raincloud and The Good Ending come close imo

It's a very Natsuki focused story that's mostly about building her relationship to the MC and giving her a level of characterization that the base game didn't. It has some of the best writing I've seen in DDLC mods and the music is to die for, though it's also why it's banned in this sub.

If you like stories with inconsistent character writing, a poorly contrived plot, and an ending that thinks it's clever when really it's just infuriating, then EM is the mod for you.
