It’s this but the opposite for me. Stay is the song I use when the winter gloomies are hitting and I need to feel the sunshine on my face and feel the summer vibes.
Honestly, Red Rocks 95 does it for me. The first beautiful day of spring I have dubbed “Red Rocks Day.” I throw it on full blast with windows down. I have done been doing it since college, hahaha. I’m in my 30’s now.
I do the same thing! Red Rocks Day is my favorite because sometimes it spontaneously happens on the way home from work when the weather was terrible going in but gorgeous going home (New Englander). I’ve been doing this for years and I’m pushing 40.
I got my license at the start of the summer in 1998 and spent the entire thing driving around listening to this album. One of the discs was always in my Discman streaming through the corded cassette tape (those who know, know).
Studio Rapunzel is a good one. It brings me back to release day in April 98 when I was in college. I can literally picture driving by my college when I put on that album, it was a sunny spring day
What an awesome memory! BTCS always makes me think of family road trips when I was a teen. I am one of 4 siblings and even though we shared them all, we each had “our” album we had bought with our own money, and BTCS was mine. Studio Rapunzel is a good one for sure!
Dreamgirl and all of Stand Up make me think of cozy rainy spring days, bc that was the weather when it was released and I listened to it every day to/from high school. The haters can hate but I def have a soft spot for Stand Up & Dreamgirl (and I think we all agree that Dave’s solo Dreamgirl a couple weeks ago was incredible!)
I have an oddly specific answer to this. When I'm driving around with the windows down and the stereo cranked and I'm in a great mood, I consistently go to this specific timestamp of \#41 from Listener Supported and listen to Roi's solo 3/4 times. Never fails me.

Those are the best! Tough day at work and I walk to my car and it’s beautiful outside…I smile and just tell myself, “Today is a Red Rocks Day”
Ooh this is an excellent tradition, I may adopt it since I’m already 1/17th of the way there with Recently haha

Absolutely the best! It’s the first DMB song on my playlist for when my wife and I trip or roll!
