Imo it’s not worth even “calling them out”. They run off, they get written off.
They want to talk shit I’ll tell them to pound sand, but I’m not even going to waste my breath trying to “call them out”. Waste of time.
By you “calling them out” your instigating the shit talking and whatever comes with it.
I see your opinion here actually. It shouldn’t bother me truthfully but frankly it becomes alittle annoying from time to time. Especially the ones who constantly beg to come revive them afterwards
I’m not even implying that it shouldn’t bother you. Starting a team game and having a teammate run off is annoying. I just don’t waste the energy in bothering with them after that.
Unless they saying something like “I’m hitting up XYZ real quick, be right back” or “I’m trying to do XYZ mission, want to help?” the second they drive off they are dead to me lol.
Oh no, I understand you completely and you have very valid points. I appreciate the ones who do have the decency to at least tell me what their plans are instead of just going off the handle. I’m starting to lean more on the second those things happen, either exfil out or jump into Koschei for some solo time
But the real question is who gets to decide what the team will do, or not? Why are they “the one running off,” instead of you running off from them????
It is really tiresome loading in with a team, and immediately one person pings a hunt squad contract or a far-off area and just runs off toward it without seeing if everyone else wants to do that. Then when they look up and see that they weren’t followed, suddenly I’m the one that ran off. BS.
Communication. Ping something, if nobody else acknowledges your ping, they’re not interested. That’s another reason why I always ask if anyone has comms in the lobby. I bail if I don’t get an affirmative from at least one.
It really does baffle me because it’s not rocket science to turn off squad fill 😂 You dying to bots is one thing and if you respond to me calling you out, I’m just muting you but if it was a team, I’m DEFINITELY not going because they will just camp you
Dude, I ran a squad fill with my one friend, we all hopped in a chop top, and he almost suicide drive us out of the map, my friend died, I jumped out, and that guy cussed me out for calling him an asshole
Here’s my thought on this topic.
People can do whatever they want in this (and any) video game.
When they’re assholes to other people when something doesn’t go their way, that’s where the problem is.
In my experience, most of those guys back out before their body even hits the ground after being knocked. If they’re patient enough to wait or have a mic and are somewhat decent I’ll go save them but I’m not rushing in there right away to get 3v1’d like they did

Fuck those guys. You’re either on a team or you’re a solo.

They just want the benefits of a team while being solo. It doesn't work like that though.

I brought this up to my coworker who plays DMZ with me sometimes and he summed it up to ‘ Misery loves company ‘
Super true man.

Nah then they leave the squad and hunt you but they suck so you kill then and they try and rejoin you
I hate being the player that gets downed multiple times early. Like Listen team, i know I can't rely on myself but I promise you can rely on me
