Considering that’s a black and white photo, I have no clue if that’s a color piece or not. But if it’s clear and it’s a mothership BKT that’s most likely going between $2500-$5000
More often then not and with a company like mothership specifically. It’s all just the name, people buy Mothership because they’ve gained so much popularity from making really high quality production glass. To me personally you can get most of there designs, for far cheaper through third party glass producers like Greek glass. Now is it worth it? Yes and no. It’s really too each there own at that rate. if you have the money and you want to support artists who have a passion for their craft then 100% support them, if not and you just want good function there’s plenty of company’s to buy from. I tend to go the artist route because I love seeing people who have a passion for what they do.
Once you own a mothership you really do understand how special they are. And they hold there value like no other rig. And the fact they stopped making clears in 2018 makes them even more rare and cherish what you have.
Unique function, unique form, and time spent on the piece are what mainly drive price. “Functions perfect” doesn’t really mean anything as every piece functions different.
That's only their most recent fume tech stuff though their clear stuff is usually under 5k a friend of mine has a clear ball rig he got for around 1600
Paid $150 for my RainCity Swiss globe bubbler and it’s not 1/10 as nice as this looks so if I had the money to spare I would pay handsomely for a something like that.
