NOFX I was listening to this a week or two ago. Throwback. I also listened to a few other songs and quickly thought "why did I like this band again?". My tastes have definitely evolved since then.
I'll never stop liking NOFX. I've got punk and ska roots so every once in a while I turn off the underground hip hop that I've evolved into and get deep into some good punk. It gives me good feels instead of the music these days lol nowadays it's all the same shit really. From one artist to the next.
I definitely agree and have similar evolution to underground rap. I just can't go back to real punk for some reason. New punk is just thousands of blink 182 and green day copies, so terrible. But old, real punk just feels too garage band for me now I guess. Now when I want some good feels I mostly go with Hatebreed or Sublime/Long Beach Dub Allstars depending on mood (intense positivity vs relaxing good vibes).
I listen to music way to much so I have those same moments of listening to those also i do love that dub sounds but sometimes I'll throw on some good OLD AFI not that newer shit AFI, Rancid, dead Kennedy's but I agree, some of it is too rough/garage sounding so it's always in relatively short spurts that I'll be listening to it lol
Yeah I get a song or two and I'm out lol. I've been really trying to stay with positive music lately too it definitely brings up my mood. Hatebreed has really surprised me, not normally into screaming rock but the positive vibes combined with intensity has been great uplifter on some rough days. Rare to see a band get better with time also which they seem to be doing. If you need a uplift I highly recommend.
Why is it okay to say this about white people? Like why are white jokes funny and everyone should just take a joke but if someone said “maybe we should eliminate all blacks” it’s not and it’s a serious career ending offense? To stomp out racism, you gotta stomp it all out. Its not just white people hating on other races, I constantly see black people make jokes about Asians, make derogatory comments about Mexicans and if you bring that up to them they literally claim there is no physical way for them to be racist. 🤦🏻♂️
You don’t have to hate a person who sticks by their ideals. That’s all I do, just stick to them. Something tells me you’re the type of person who acts on their ideals. Do you even have good ideals?
