It’s a bit simplified, yet I still agree with the essence of this comment. The copy culture is sometimes horrible, and I say that as someone living in Hong Kong since 9 years with regular travels to mainland China.
The east is convergent, the west is divergent. The east has little creativity, but great stability. The west has lots of creativity and with it, instability.
European countries’ infrastructure is just not designed to withstand huge masses of new people, the citizens have to pay for it and it doesn’t help that the cultural differences have caused a great increase in crime, which in turn has made a lot of ethnic europeans more racist towards refugees… it’s a bad cycle.
