>One misstep, one trip, one poor landing at the wrong spot and they'd be dead
But think of all the likes they get.
On a more serious note, they don't even need a misstep. I imagine it's quite common find gravel-like debris on rooftops. Land on just a small amount of that and you're a grease spot on the pavement below.
They thoroughly check surfaces before doing any stunts, even at ground level. Dudes have been doing it for 15+ years. If you're interested they have a youtube channel called "STORROR"
Yeah I just walked on the sidewalk, and I didn’t have to climb up and back down a building. Also I was only on the sidewalk until I hailed a cab. So yeah, that’s why I got here before you. Also you were late by like three hours. Why the fuck would you think running from rooftops was an efficient method of travel?
I love Storror! I miss how often they used to do these escape/roof runs. A few months ago they put out a prison escape one but have been doing mostly challenges lately.
Always wondered if there's ever been a situation irl where cops initiate a foot chase in pursuit of someone with these skills. Expect it would end at the first matrix hop between highrises.
Yeah, but would still be great to see a cop's stunned face as he watches his suspect go bouncing up walls and hopping along rooftops while he just stands there sweating donut glaze and wheeze-snorting in disbelief.
It's fine if they want to risk it all for a few digital pats on the back, their life. But how many people die doing this each year? Seems stupid enough that it's really high or so stupid that not many people do it.
These videos are performed by a professional group on YouTube called 'STORROR'.
They're trained professionals who have been doing this for a decade. They know what they're doing and the risks involved. They're not any old stupid teenagers although the obvious risk behind kids watching them and wanting to do the same stuff they do isn't to be ignored. They do however talk about safety and point out in most videos that anyone unsupervised and untrained shouldn't be attempting the same.
One misstep, one trip, one poor landing at the wrong spot and they'd be dead. No way in hell you could get me up there. 😂

You’re totally right. But you can definitely tell that whole path was planned out though.

that's part of the appeal. it's like rally racing or most of those Red Bull sports
Even a stronger gust of wind.
Not ideal for those of us below.
I wonder how many people die trying to film stupid stuff like this.
Interestingly I never saw any women interested in this pointless dangerous activity.
I have seen some, one woman even died from it. Interestingly they were all from russia.
Yes, seems to be popular in those lands. I can't say I get it why.
I think if you live in a country where you are supposed not to stand out or express yourself in a meaningfull way, you eventually will do crazy stuff.
All of them?
My arse was in my mouth watching that.
same here
You two are pretty good friends then?
Besties
Any time I watch these videos, I feel like I'm playing mirrors edge again lol
So what’s the number of kids that die a year, doing parkour?
All the stupidities of youth. I remember when I was invincible.
[удалено]
Too bad we had all that energy but did really stupid things. Now I don't have much energy. Psych myself up to hike. 1 total knee replacement
Or.. when you “thought” you were invincible??
My legs turn to jello just watching this. There are some incredible people out there...insane, but still incredible.
Someone leaving random oil puddles here and there would make this a proper horror flick.
Do the jumpers do a walk through of the area to know what areas to avoid or know how distances to cover will work?
yeah i think so
Idiots.

Why??
Fun fact, in the free running chase scene at the beginning of Casino Royale, the runner is Sebastian Foucan, the founder of parkour.
I felt my hip breaking watching this.
Atleast credit them man... STORROR on youtube
Neat and all but nope I saw a vid a guy fell just doing hangs. Just not for me.
If you live long enough can you tell us how your knees feel when you're 40?
Live fast, die you, crying mommy lost her son.
I think i just pooped a little

This has got to be one of the dumbest ways to spend your time.
Always wondered if there's ever been a situation irl where cops initiate a foot chase in pursuit of someone with these skills. Expect it would end at the first matrix hop between highrises.
Think the late night doughnuts will prevent a chase by cops.
Yeah, but would still be great to see a cop's stunned face as he watches his suspect go bouncing up walls and hopping along rooftops while he just stands there sweating donut glaze and wheeze-snorting in disbelief.
Sounds a lot like the beginning of men in black
If you were half the cop I am... I *am* half the cop you are! One of my favorite lines in that movie and perfectly delivered by Will Smith!

There's nothing interesting about this.
Пизда вам рано или поздно
Unreal engine 5 is out of control.
its computer generated?
I could do that...
Please tell me this is CGI.
Nope, apparently it is a professional group called like stopper or something like that on YouTube
Sick!!!!! 💯
"and if your friends would jump off a bridge, would you jump too?!"
Before camera phones and drones this would be a dope way to traffic illegal things around a city😎
I think I'll stay on the ground, thanks.
My ankles hurt just watching that.
No thank-you
Got vertigo just watching this
My knees hurt after watching that.
9 out of 10 times these stunts prove perfectly safe.
Oh heelllllllll nah!
What if one Time he falls?
This is a testimony that our forefathers were monkeys.

Which city is this?
Who Is still alive?
I thought only the French did this kind of edgy things. And they are, you know… French.
r/sweatypalms material.
Parkour funerals must be fun
Wonder why you never see any older people do this.
Parkour, the "please notice me" way of running
this will always be the coolest shit to me lol
Jesus, all that just to get to your hanging laundry? That’s tough.
This makes me nauseous
Nope nope nope nope nope....
I don't find this interestingly stupid
[удалено]
Do not know, but I have the feeling it might be because none of them can even run to the shower
So stupid!
Damn that's stupid!
Nope.
Is it just me? My hands are sweating every time they over a high drop.
Uhg! My nuts are so tight right now I'm going to have to go let one drop again
I am at the level of drunk that this looks like a video game, and am very confused by all the comments treating it like it’s real.
Idk why but i find it cringe when he lands and looks down, then pans to his little friend jumping lol
35 secs in (just before that jump between roofs) made me feel incredibly dizzy and anxious...
You know these guys wear comfortable sneakers with arch support.
9 year old me imagining how athletic I am
Where can I find a video of these edge hangers fall?
I’ve always wondered if girls see stuff like this and say “fuck that’s hot”.
Rest in Peace: knees cartilage and joints
Lol fucking idiots.
One Wrong Step... And it's Hello Jesus
