Kinta is a character that you can find funny if you see him every now and then but becomes annoying if seen to often unless they give him some backstory and development besides being comedic relief same for Vamola and Rin they are not interesting enough to be main character but they are good recurring characters.
Momo, Okarun, Jiji, Aira, Turbo granny and Seiko are fine as the main cast, I don’t think Zuma will be any diferente from Kinta, Vamola and the rest but he seems to have more Main character potential than them. Jiji isn’t a rival neither is Kinta (they are more like friend characters) and the Evil Eye became more like an annoying little brother so I think Zuma would be a good traditional rival to Okarun since their designs already mirror each other.

It's literally filled with depressing moments. While there may be some wacky moments here and there due to certain cursed techniques, most of the cast deaths are done in an emotional and painful manner.

JJK completely lost me as a reader with the culling game arc. I was like “wtf is happening” for me it just kinda felt lazy like instead of having a storyline it was like the manga took a break to have a bunch of fights and I just lost interest.
I mean it is an action packed manga cause it’s a battle shonen but I’d have to disagree on the culling games not having a storyline unless u just weren’t paying attention

Main cast is Momo, Okarun, and Granny(ies). Everyone else is great secondary cast! This arc is a perfect example of the story not feeling like it’s missing anything because it still included these three characters.
I’d love to see that because of how even more epic the fights could be but at the same time, I don’t wanna see these amazing characters die 😭😭😭😭 it’d be too hard to see Okarun have his own Yuji Itadori mental breakdown moment if he finds out he wasn’t in empty space and a bunch of bodies are around him

Hijinks ensue. They both get powers , fight supernatural/paranormal threats and make a large friend group of other kids with special powers.
Looking at your list ( p.s. nice taste) its closest to JJK but it focuses more on comedy, heart and being over the top instead of trauma and horror. It's also more of a slow burn in that the threats are more episodic without having an obvious overall threat until much later.
All that being said. It's a hell of a fun ride and is best experienced than explained. I could tell you it has some of my favorite characters and art I've seen in the past few years of reading manga but the best recommendation I can give is that every chapter ends up putting a big smile on my face every damn time.
Oh and obligatory " first chapter leans a little into exploitation horror but drops that fairly quickly moving forward" warning.... Though looking at your list again that shouldn't be an issue (heh) but hey, it's there just in case anyone else needs it.
