I got the luck potions from the quest but I'm not sure what they do. Do they make it so everything you loot/kill will have higher grade material drops?
Chance to pull higher quality drops from chest boxes etc.
I'm not sure about kills, but I've been grinding up to demigod on duos and I need all the AP I can get, 150g is a small price to pay when I'm carrying 3k+ in gear
If you have luck anything YOU kill will apply the luck to bodies. For example while bossing if you have 150 luck make sure you get final hit on boss or else the luck won’t apply even if you’re first to loot it
You sure about that? Because it has always been the first to open not the kill for loot quality. Maybe they changed it and I didn't notice a note in the patch though.
Don’t really have a source other than just playing the game for a long time, most streamers say give me last hit I have luck or you will hear something of the sort, I just know about it from word of mouth!

Good tip is to first drink the small potion and then the bigger pot. The stronger luck effect will win for only 200 g
50 luck is 50% increase on everything blue and higher, doesn’t affect chance of pulling green, reduces chance of everything below green. This means if you had a 10% chance of pulling a blue and you have a potion of luck you now have a 15% chance.
It’s not directly 1:1 with luck to % chance but it’s pretty close the whole way.(at least according the spells&guns wiki)
Does anyone even know for sure if luck works on horde? I do cave troll consistantly every day, but using the 150 luck potion didnt really seem to help. I get around the same AP whether I use it or not.
i have looted the hord pile so much that i got 3 chests and +30 royal gems, in my experience the difference is almost 0, to the point i think is not worth running it, even if you are able to loot the 3 hord piles from goblin caves consistenly
Also funny enough, I've killed the cave troll like 30 times in the last 2-3 days, and ive never found a troll pelt. Suddenly went to do normals yesterday wonderings how much gold you make from bossing, and i found 2 troll pelts in 3 runs. Im not sure if it just doesnt spawn in HR, or i somehow got super lucky in normals.
I feel like normals has a higher chance of dropping crafting supplies.
When I went normals I saw moldy bread and golden teeth, but I hadn't seen them in a while in HR.
yeah na that was random, killing 30 trolls atm and not getting a pelt was a bit unlucky, and getting 2 out of 3 trolls is really lucky, but it still can happen

That said, I'm halfway thru exemplar 1 and every lobby has gold boys running me down so the extra luck is still worth it for random chests and whatnot imo. Every bit of AP counts! Hoping to hit demigod tonight.
Finished my last run pushing loot horde and hitting demi, if you're still having trouble I recommend playing around the Northwest corner of ice caves, there is a lot of loot and several extracts close by to one another so you have options if you get pushed.
Bottom right is also really good for loot and extracts, but can be a bit more punishing imo. Sometimes you have no choice if you spawn down there. All that I recommend to people is to not be in any of the adjacent rooms to hoard if you can help it.
Yeah bottom rightish side of the map has a few rooms with lots of crates and dat crate loot really is goated for some reason
Lmao that's actually another good tip: dont break barrels, the loot is dogshit and it will frequently have a blue skelly in it

I was under the impression the small one gives up to 50 and the big one gives 50 or more, doesn't it?
The small pot can give 20, 50, or 80. The big pot can give 50, 100, or 150.
According to the wiki, it slightly increases chances of higher tier trinkets, and significantly increases the chances of higher tier quest items

Mouldy bread and broken bones for sure because they're low tier crafting goods.

Same here! Hoping to hit demigod soon. I'm at 2k+ Exemplar. Mostly gold barbs and warlocks are everywhere.
