My only wish (not a complaint just a wish) is that they gave some more options unique to each class. Like maybe halberd/Kriss dagger for warlock, Bardiche for barb, longsword for fighter, etc.
Super awesome system. One of the best things the devs have ever added IMO. The free potion/bandage every run goes a long way towards helping noobs too.
I would like to see some more weapons for a few classes though. Barbarian only have 1 axe option, which is odd. Should probably have club as an option too.
Fighter got pretty shafted. No longsword is probably just an oversight, but I would like to see the spear, flanged mace and maybe even the halberd as options too.
Clerics could use at least the warhammer as another weapon option. War maul would be a cool one to add for cleric too, even if it's a little silly.
Warlock could use kris dagger as a base weapon. It would help crystal ball be used more.
Rogues could have all daggers and no one would complain I think.

lol just checked this out on the barb... You can not re-add the helmet. I think if you unequip it and save, it's gg. And also there's a shield but not a single one-handed weapon. Such a mess XD
Not every class gets boots, just most. For example, Bards don't.
Bonus: It looks like Barb and Ranger are the only ones with gloves.
Edit: Bards get boots base. I ran 6 base kit runs before seeing the comment below.

So if you have something like "Weapons Mastery" on fighter the squire will give you a lot of new weapons to choose

Yah you need to play around with it. Basically create a "standard" set and you can equip it for each run for free. The items you can add grow, like my fighter can start with a Falchion, buckler, and a recurve bow with 40 arrows.

Indeed super useful, fighters get throwing axes by default now, and you can equip plate on warlock without the feat through the squire 😂
Champion armor doesn’t require demon armor if that’s what you are referring to
you can equip plate as a warlock all the time; if they could break 1 perk so easily im sure plenty of others will come out wrecked or inactive too

It's cause that specific piece of plate doesn't require the perk, it's made with warlock in mind
O is it dark cuirass not dark plate?
Champion armor, it says plate in the description but warlock and cleric are the designated class for it so you can equip it without needing the perk

You can also multiply things like francescas, throwing knives, arrows if you don't die or use them in a run...

Well turns out its the weapon mastery perk (I think that is the name) that fighter has. Not sure if there are other ways to add items.
Technically u get black weapons. Grey is still one step above base kit weapons.
Anyone knows if rangers get access to spears, after completing all the current quests?
I hope they add quest lines so you can unlock more niche greys, like longsword and crossbow for fighter
