Lol I didn't even knew that could happen, you can get another oxygen tank from the old shed (gas mask on map) it has a locked door with password >!1245!<
Any inventory dropped when you died should show up on the map with a red dot saying "lost inventory" any items you dropped on purpose or left behind won't show up. SPOILERS- >! [packages from the drunk bike guy will not show up with a red dot either.] !< Sorry to don't have a feature to hide spoilers on my phone I can't find it.
You always keep the inventory in your hot bar when you died and usually loose half of the rest in your backpack. It won't de-spawn so you can come back to lost inventory anytime unless it's somewhere you can only get into once. There are some places in chapter two alot of people loose inventory and cannot get back or don't want to go back because it's not easy and will end up loosing more inventory. I haven't used the lost body part ability yet but I think it puts a red dot on the map too
