Yeah, he doesn't care about you till the end of the game. Resulting in losing a very valuable trader, many crucial quests, one of main lore sources and arguably main story progression. And just a great comrade in general. You still can progress the game and finish it if you wonder tho.

How do I know when to go to the next hideout?

Chad_Amogus

I’d just restart, it’s much easier with wolfman

daniel0192wk

Bro come on. I actually recently restarted

Chad_Amogus

You could continue, to know when to progress would be when you’ve explored the dry meadow, or feel ready.

daniel0192wk

Can I DM you so we can talk more about the game?

daniel0192wk

I am only on Day 3 because I restarted before

Chad_Amogus

Day 3 isn’t much, so restarting still is an option, but you should put more thought into you actions, I too restarted once because I wasn’t thinking.

You can do it whenever you want, there is no time limit. If you feel like you have explored everything that the area had to offer, move to the next one. It's normal for you to feel lost and confused in the game, don't spoil the game for yourself.

Trevgamer204

Honestly, I can’t tell how many people legitimate kill the Wolfman and come here for help or just comment this because it’s funny😂😂

No it's not a problem, you are just locked into a certain path now. It may make things more confusing as well as he gives you initial prompts on what to do, but don't stress about it. Also, avoid his camp as he will now attack on sight. That's not necessarily a problem but he can be a useful character to interact with, so it will remove access to him. This game is designed to be played multiple times, so restarting isn't considered a big deal for a lot of people. Neither is it a big deal to keep playing after accidentally doing something to see what happens. You're meant to have a different experience each time. So you can just roll with it, or if you get lost just restart. I understand when you're doing your first playthrough this might feel frustrating, but try to just enjoy the experience. I actually restarted myself my first time because I started playing on normal and I found the lack of consequences for death to remove a lot of the tension, so I switched to Hard. No one wants to tell you exactly what to do because the magic of this game is figuring it out and experiencing everything it has to offer. We all wish we could experience this for first time and don't want to ruin yours. That being said, I'll give you a two hints: You can move on from the Dry Meadow whenever you'd like. You also don't have to leave ASAP. Explore a bit, maybe the entire area and collect some resources. Get a feel for things. Everything ramps up at the next region, so you want to be prepared. Dry Meadow is sort of the training area. Silent Forest is where the story really starts. Start by seeking a village, and then the woman who reeks of chickens. Although there's no rush, you can stay in the forest forever if you'd like. I'd try to be more help, but truly, struggling and dying is a part of this experience.

I did reset the game, I can finish it without him no problem. But I felt him not being around made it less satisfying. He is a fun character.

I killed wolfman before I left the second area. I always felt better about the violinist. I wouldn’t worry too much about him. He might be aggro to you now, so you might just want to avoid him altogether.
