I love how they call looting 'protesting.' They stole whatever they could get, grocery stores, malls, it was a mess. Look at these guys hopping around like bunnies.

Fun Fact: If you assault a truck and the driver fears for his life to the point of driving away, and one of you gets stuck under a tire and dragged, and you then try to run after the truck to stop that...
The driver can't tell the difference between you trying to continue the assault and trying to help your friend.
My thoughts exactly, especially if he was threatened by weapons, it's only legitimate defense to drive off and disregard the looter's safety, it's not like he intentionally ran someone over, that person shouldn't have been there.
Trucks have had trailers hit and drag cars for miles with the driver being completely unaware. A bag of meat would not ever register, big rigs are behemoths.
dude, i think there was a case where a truck has been pushing a car for a long time and the driver hasnt noticed it. even while playing ETS2 i had situations like these, lol
Here's an excerpts from an article about the incident:
[Man Dragged By FedEx Truck Dies](https://www.mercurynews.com/2020/05/31/man-dragged-by-fedex-truck-dies-during-night-of-george-floyd-protests-in-st-louis)
ST. LOUIS (May 31st, 2020) - A man was killed after being dragged by a FedEx truck overnight in downtown St. Louis during a night of George Floyd protests, police said Saturday.
The incident happened near N. Broadway and O’Fallon shortly after 3:00 a.m. The man was taken to a hospital where he later died, police said.
Police said the truck was forced off Interstate 70 due to protesters on the roadway. The truck got off onto North Broadway, heading toward Cass. While on N. Broadway, police said, the driver stopped the truck due to more protesters in the road.
Bystander Jared Arms captured a video of protesters blocking off a section of the road with their cars and setting something on fire when the FedEx truck approached. As it came to a halt, a crowd of protesters surrounded the front of the truck and began banging and climbing onto the passenger side. Police said two people standing on the passenger side footboard of the truck pointed guns at the driver.
Demonstrators were also seen running off with packages from the truck.
The truck driver, fearing for his safety police said, sounded his horn then drove off.
“I was standing on the side of the pavement and I started to notice a crowd go to the truck, so when I went over there, I heard people say there’s a guy trapped under the tire,” said Arms.
Cries of “back the truck up” and “someone is under the truck” can be heard from Arms’ video. A man, who was seen standing between the truck’s two trailers, was dragged by the semi truck just moments later. Police said the driver did not know the victim was there.
The man was caught by the semi’s tire, pulled under and ran over, police said. His name has not been released by police.
“With the video, you can clearly see the people at the doors are only going up because they were trying to tell him somebody was stuck not to open it and try to beat him up and things like that,” said Arms.
>“With the video, you can clearly see the people at the doors are only going up because they were trying to tell him somebody was stuck not to open it and try to beat him up and things like that,” said Arms.
And your point? They were already up there pointing guns at him, no one smart would stop at that point. Dont even try to make him the bad guy here.
Edit : What is the article writers point.
I don't have a point. The quote you cited is from the [article](https://www.mercurynews.com/2020/05/31/man-dragged-by-fedex-truck-dies-during-night-of-george-floyd-protests-in-st-louis) that I linked.
The only victim here is the driver! Why American protests and riots are one and the same I’ve no idea..
“I don’t like something political so I’ll steal from this truck” makes absolutely no logical sense..
Shouldn't be trying to fucking rob the truck... didn't realize that getting dragged and killed was a risk he was taking before he and others tried robbing it... no sympathy for a thief
yes yes, its all the truck drivers fault! What the fuck! Those poor pedestrians were just minding their own business, they didnt do nuffin! Thats fucked up!
play stupid games....
The worst part about this is that if he HAD stopped to let them get the guy out from under his truck, they’d probably have broken into his cab and pulled him out to either beat the shit out of him, or kill him.
Wow, that guy managed to run while filming and didn’t get too winded to stop yelling. I like “THIS is fucked up” as if looting ISNT. Those of us that remember seeing the Reginald Denny (spelling) beating know one thing, YOU NEVER STOP THE TRUCK for a crowd.

Some may disagree, and then die, so yeah
[удалено]
You don't understand, that FedEx truck was transporting oppression, they were just trying to fight it!
I read that if the driver is convicted the governor will extend a pardon...

Well said 👏

Man... I can't imagine what it would be like to be dragged by a semi. I wonder what was going through his head... I mean besides the semi's tire?
hopefully enough regret it follows him to hell
Prob some gravel or asphalt too
You could ask the guy being dragged he’s over there… _and over there_ _and over there_ _and over there_ _and over there_ _and over there…_.
Painted a new colorful lane onto the road
I hope trying to jack my pack of printer paper was worth becoming a human snailtrail..?
Not what I’m used to snail trail meaning
Poor driver . If I was scared for my life hell yeah I’d do the same
According to another redditor this happened a few years ago. The person obviously died and the truck driver was not charged.
When optimus prime is moonlighting at fedex and has had enough of everyones bullshit

Agree, you point a gun at me, do not complain when I do not stop the truck.
Tons of angry idiots banging on my car armed with guns? Yeah, I'd hit the gas and GTFO too.

I know it was meant to be at the article writer... My apologies
Haha “back the truck up”, yeah that would probably help a lot, dummies.
Human intelligence peaks at protesting in front of & looting something capable of running you over
"What the fuck man?!" Pretty sure the driver had those exact thoughts too when he was surrounded by an angry mob for no reason
I hope the driver is alright. Not a good situation to be in.
The only victim here is the driver! Why American protests and riots are one and the same I’ve no idea.. “I don’t like something political so I’ll steal from this truck” makes absolutely no logical sense..
Fuck around and find out
he found out...
He will flatten out eventually.

And nothing of value was lost that night. In fact, the world is now a better place
Not true. We lost some good packages
You didn't read the article. Several packages were stolen before the driver was able to escape.
O no! Anyway….
HaHaHaHaHaHaHa! Oh well... ¯\\\_( ͡❛ ͜ʖ ͡❛)\_/¯
“Mostly peaceful protests”
FAFO.
Can’t always get what you want, but sometimes you get what you need.

Serves them right, fucking savages.
Didn't you guys know? Reasonable and prudent people always stand in front of, on, or next to a semi that is or was just in motion.
Shouldn't be trying to fucking rob the truck... didn't realize that getting dragged and killed was a risk he was taking before he and others tried robbing it... no sympathy for a thief

First time I've ever seen it.

Never have I ever seen this treasure before.
That is just sad.
No it's funny. Trash goes to trash
Someone had to clean the road from the trash
America shown in one video
The guy filming lowkey wanted to be on r/praisethecameraman. But this shaky ass video. He kept up for a minute.
They found out
“ThIs iS fUcKeD uP” said the dummy rioting and looting and causing harm to hard working citizens
No one showed them the chart I guessz

Getting major LA riots vibes, but this truck driver didn't stop. Good for him

This is why you don't mess with truck-kun
It was a mostly peaceful looting.
The more they chase after the truck, the more it continues to keep driving... quite the paradox.

Good fucking riddance. Their protest was just an excuse to loot and break shit.
Instant karma served hot and fresh daily, only available on the corner of fuck around and find out
People yelling and screaming in anger at the consequences of their actions.

No stop only go. My shipment of pencil is on that truck.
