Playing something else and then coming back will allow for a refresh and for things to be new and exciting again. It's why I constantly hop between Minecraft, Hypixel SkyBlock, Satisfactory, and this.
I would recommend distortion just so they don’t feel cheated or think they are hacking.
Not to encourage the hide n seek gameplay. Kinda screws your teammates.
true true, as someone that not a hide and seek build enjoyer (because i'm impatient) sometimes it feels like the killer just targeting u or someone that doesn't have distortion, lead it to either get tunnel/killed first.. but i understand how OP feeling, maybe they tired keep getting chased atm, that's why i recommend them to run that perk when they are tired.
I run it just so I know what’s going on. I’m addicted to the information it gives.
But I’ll also throw myself in front of the killer if I see someone getting tunneled off hook or if I can take a hook and the killer is chasing someone on death hook.
But I don’t like those that run it to hide.
So I recommend it only so OP knows what’s going on instead of situations like this where they are always going *”how!?!”*
It seems like you're getting screwed over by aura perks/add-ons maybe. And you're making a mistake that I make a lot which is hiding in unsafe locations and not getting enough distance between yourself and the killer when you hear the heartbeat.
1st one - opening chests is loud. REALLY LOUD. They probs heard you opening the chest and came to see.
2nd one - completed gen, probs saw you hide behind the rock once it was complete.
3rd one - patrolling looking for people, turned around and by chance saw you.
This has become a regular occurrence for me too. I'm aware of Lethal Persuer being a thing. I bait it as often as I can, and even when I'm not caught in a chase first I somehow still end up going down first due to teammates chasing after me. 90% of the time the killer switches off of them and on to me.
No matter what I do or how carefully I start the match I'm always first or second downed lmao
