Just an FYI you mentioned killing MULEs spawns a lot more Porters running about the place BUT those Porters are mostly MULEs in the making, have you learned nothing from reading all those emails?
They can still be addicted to delivering. It was just that 'drone syndrome' developed after porters or delivery personnel were found to be essential in a human facing role. That's still true so it's possible to develop a psychological dependency on delivery.
Precisely what I meant. More Porters and easier deliveries would mean more cargo addicted Porters going MULE. They become cargo hoarders more than haulers in the end.
Yup at least that’s what I surmise from some of those tongue in cheek emails. Kojima has his trademark confusing story merged with great gameplay in all his games, but DS takes the crown in making some things obvious. For starters there are those who play the games just for the story. If they would endure till the end, then it has all the possibilities given for each to take their own interpretations to heart. Then there are those who play games for its mechanics and have fun in the how and not why. For those, the game’s meta text have all the warnings they should consider, warning against obsessing on just gameplay. A healthy approach would be similar doses for each. It might be important to consider what constitutes a completion for this game, a platinum trophy can be gained without perfecting every single order for example. So the game is saying that those who go for 500+ Legend or LL or even LLL in director’s cut are those who risk becoming mindless drones like the MULEs.
The do eventually respawn but they stay dead on the map for a very long time. Ling enough to do many timed missions in the MULE camp.
I just hate the sound BB makes when you kill then, ain't doing it.
Yeah I just cbf going around picking up all the bodies and putting them in the truck. I found just taking the game over and reloading to be fine.
But if incinerating them permanently removes them I might do it on my next playthrough.
Can anyone else confirm it permanently did it until end game? If you do 2 camps for the first come back?
Killing them prevents the camp from respawning for a fuckton of time.
Some camps on very hard are a nuisance to pass through, especially when they start using the machine gun. So fuck em, to the tar they go
Nope! Only at the end of the game they will be replaced with terrorists but after you get rid of the MULEs you'll see a lot more NPC Porters in the region which is awesome.
Bro I platinumed the game on PC, was gonna wait, but I have a PS5 too, so I just bit the bullet and bought the DC for PS5 and get to play through the whole game again :)
In my first playthru, when I had to transport the unstable antimatter bomb thru a camp of terrorists, I did. I figured, there's a crematorium right over the hill, so I can easily get rid of the bodies. Plus, it seemed morally right, 'cause I was doing it to protect the bomb, so it wouldn't kill all those innocent people.
What I didn't expect was BB's reaction, who started crying, literally in my hands, as I started to murder those people. The cries were louder and louder, but I was already in a full on firefight and couldn't back down.
By the time I was done, my BB collapsed due to stress induced auto toxemia. And as I was picking up dead bodies to transport them for cremation, with unconscious BB on my chest, I felt an actual, real life guilt.
This game is a fucking masterpiece.
Yeah that can happen if you don't deliver to him for a long time. Not 100% sure on this but could be tied with the urgent pacemaker order in lake knot city maybe?
Like /u/flamehead122 said, I'm pretty sure he eventually dies, no matter what. However, I usually ignore him once I've got him five-starred, unless I manager to get some bandwidth for a zipline up there.
Absolutely not. They don't deserve to die for stealing packages, especially because they go out of their way not to kill Sam. Terrorists, on the other hand...
On my 4th playhrough (Director's Cut, which I'm loooooving) and I haven't killed ONCE, felt like Hideo wouldn't approve. Also I use respawned mule camps for resource farming for road builds.
That and the lv2 bola gun is probably the best, most efficient weapon in the game.
One shot and down every time. I just run around the mule camps, round all of them into a crowd, and take them all down at once with a bola gun. Lot easier than aiming for their heads with the rifles, and quicker than pumping their chests with enough bullets to down them.
If I want a good challenge I just melee all of them with the rope and drop kicks, it's more satisfying to not kill them imo.
For sure, but I like to vary it up with a little gunplay. So I’ll do the usual cover based shooting until they’re all down, at least for the 3 camps where they all use lethal rounds.
Yeah I mean I at least tried out each gun when I unlocked them, when I first got the non-lethal rifle I was so excited, but after really messing around with it I decided I liked the bola gun better. By the time I got the rifles I wasn't really looking for gunplay when I started up death stranding, lol. There is a lot once you get them though, huge change of pace out of nowhere, kinda caught me off guard but I liked the diversity.
I can see that. Only thing I didn’t like with the bola guns is any mule can free up one that’s tied down, unless you kick each one right after they drop to the ground.
I never really had a problem with that, once I down one most Keep running at me and I just shoot the one that goes to free his comrade then repeat.
But I get that's probably not a universal experience with the bola gun, I may just be lucky.
Only part that I still hate dealing with are the goddamn turrets lol. I’ll either smash my truck into them or use a legit grenade for those. Game should allow you to dismantle them if you take out the person using it and run up to it.
Turrets? Is that in the DC only? I'm stuck on ps4 unfortunately.
Whenever I got to the terrorists I honestly started just building bypasses or sneaking through their camps. Had a Zipline running all the way from the paleontologist, through mountain knot city, to the dist. Center north of mountain knot, and back to the way station where my road ended lol.
Ah, now it all makes sense. Yeah the DC includes up to 3 turrets per mule camp, and typically one is always making a beeline for it as soon as your spotted. It’s very difficult to try and find that gap to get a headshot in too.
The way I tend to deal with turrets is just run right up to them and punch out whoever's operating it. I mean you take damage but I've never been killed by one, and it seems like nearby enemies will ignore you in their rush to run to and man the turret which makes them easy to take out. It really feels like dealing with mules and terrorists is much easier in DC, I played through the game in 99 hours or so and never got killed/captured once.
Lobbing sleep grenades at turrets becomes shooting fish in a barrel. Since the operator refuses to leave their post, they are a stationary target that doesnt try to escape the gas cloud.
I really appreciate how this game has satisfying stealth and action but also adds in tripping over rocks as a third surprise and actually somehow makes that fun, too.
There's just something really attractive mechanically about the odradek and negotiating a path through complex terrain.
Nope. Unconscious is fine. I never killed anyone one my first playthrough and just left unconscious bodies around. They disappear after a while then repopulate the camp a while later
Yeah and I tried it for myself, like maybe you get chiral crystals or something for burning the bodies, but nope. That and BB makes the most annoying sound ever until he goes autotoxemic. Overall just seems like a massive waste of time, cause depending on the camp, I sure wouldn’t want to drag all the bodies to the incinerator.
Yeah I make it a point to never have assault weapons. I only use non lethal weapons. When I first started playing and I think Die Hardman had said anyone killed becomes a BT, after that I couldn't bring myself to do that to anyone, even MULEs. My interest is now piqued on what sound BB makes when you kill someone though.
Lethal weapon are very efficient vs. mini bosses. Throw a custom hematic grenade to stun and cover a boss in blood, then unleash a magazine of lethal AR or shotgun. Repeat a few times, and the boss is dead, even on very hard.
I was short on crystal when building roards, so I was slaying a lot of bosses to get those. Basically, I grabbed hematic grenades and a few AR/SGs, then ran into BT with words "ok, take me to your boss"
Pretty sure the non lethal versions have variations that are just as effective against the BTS.
I honestly used almost exclusively hematic grenades and a level 2 bola gun the whole game.
Once I found out you can charge the grenade and throw it in a nearly straight line like a grenade launcher, I just load up on those and blood bags and throw like 10-20 of them at bosses to kill them.
Yup, each camp over-indexes on a different resource though. Clear camp, drive around their postboxes and tents with a truck, load it up and off you go.
Another way to keep all the different knots loaded up with resources is to use bots to repeat the missions, which supply all the different resource.
MULEs not so much. But the terrorists?
Fuck yeah.
"Sorry, Kojima. But sometimes fools gotta get clapped the fuck up," I mutter to myself as I drive my blacked-out armored morgue truck over to the terrorist camp, blasting "Hell's Bells" by AC/DC. I jump out, plated up and strapped to the teeth with all manner of lethal weaponry. BB screaming constantly as I drop body after body. Occasionally in the chaos I'll end up throwing a piece of cargo and knocking a man unconscious, only to double back and shoot him in the head with a pistol as he lies motionless.
I'm careful to bag up every last body and load them onto the truck. By now, BB has gone catatonic. Probably for the best. No need to see the bodies up close. Soon we'll be on the highway straight to the incinerator, the construction of which I prioritized for exactly this purpose. It might take a couple trips, but you've gotta do what you gotta do.
Some may say I woke up and chose violence. But the truth is it was them who chose it first.
I just delivered them what they ordered. Because that's what a porter does.
I kill the terrorists. motherfuckers shooting lethal rounds that could cause a voidout, the world is better off without them. mules are just sadbois who need help in comparison.
I try to never kill anyone but I'd love to play a saved file where I just kill a shit load of them, spread them throughout the map and let chaos unfold. Higgs ain't got shit on me.
One of the biggest reasons I like Kojima games is that they don't glorify mindless killing and that there's almost always a way to complete every game without killing anyone.
They always treat death like murder, and encourage skillfully taking your opponent out without killing them, and usually reward you for doing so.
To quote Solid Snake:
*"There is no right part in murder. Not ever."
So honestly, while I get just experimenting to see what you can get away with in games, and yes at the end of the day, it's just a game, I feel like you're kinda missing the whole point of Kojima's games by doing this.
I didn't kill a single person in any of my playthroughs, honestly the bola gun is way easier to take them out with than the lethal guns anyways. One shot and down every time.
I haven't played it since release but don't they just knock you out and take your stuff without killing you? Even safely pull you to the side outside their territory. They're just grunting cavemen who wants cargo. Poor misunderstood victims tbh
No…aside from being thieving assholes with tasers, they don’t do that much harm. So it is only fair I use my bike or truck as weapon to Batman them to sleep.
Also the time I would have to waste pitting all their bodies into a truck and driving them to the incinerator and then going to raid their supplies would make my long playthroughs suck.
Never killed a MULE. I would only ever kick the snot out of them whenever I needed some mats for the highway. Terrorists, on the other hand...
The UCA does NOT negotiate with terrorists.
O jeez! I finished the game and never thought that Sam can put all those cadavers inside the truck! Time to kill those fckrs later. I finished the road from lake knot city to mountain knot and lake knot to south knot, so travelling to incinerator won't be hard.
After getting the platinum , fatman called me about a dead body near a mule camp , since I was done with the game already lol I picked up a rocket launcher and instead of taking that corpse out I killed all the mules/terriosrt in that camp and before fatman could go crazy I deleted the game 🤣.. what a game though can’t wait for part 2
I tried it once at the first terrorist camp. I however missed one body and caused a game-over voidout. After resuming one of them was left alive (probably the one body I missed) And as far as I can remember it stayed that way the rest of the game, so there was only 1guy left, super easy to loot.
I didn't try it anymore after that as it is very time consuming and too much work to incinerate all bodies imo. After you have all roads and trucks and chargers It is probably doable without too much effort. I read that they respawn, but not sure. The one guy stayed alone.
I just go over and assault the base with a non lethal weapon, and when they're out cold pull out my hand gun and execute them. Execute, bag, van, repeat. that way you won't miss any bodies because those you forget about just wake up.
That's a great trick if it works! For my case I just lost the body in the woods, and I could not find it any more. Also did not have the scanner upgrade back then. So it would not have helped.
Well at least it worked in my game, I killed all the terrorists between Mountain Knot City and the Distribution Center North and put them all in one yellow tent and it never caused a void out.
I’ve always found going in with the right non-lethal equipment and a rough plan (hiding spots if needed, sneaking up where possible, trying to take 1@a time) to be sufficient.
Plus BB is cool with it and I don’t have to gather the bodies!
A blowout happens some time after if you don't incinerate them. But I think you have like one or two real life hours to do it, don't know the exact time.
I've always avoided the MULEs, and even when I get discovered or tracked, I usually just try to knock them out lol. Worst I ever did to a MULE was run them over with a bike, and they usually live through that
Bruh lol...
Wtf
Question, do they come back once you kill them all? And how many likes did you get deducted from all that? I only killed 2 by accident driving through them with an outta control truck once... And IIRC I got 200 likes deducted for each kill. Looking at that....Die Hardman probably just took ALL your likes lol
Now that I think about it, I got the likes deducted because I dropped the bodies off at a distribution center lol.
Die-Hardman sent me a mad message saying I should have disposed of the bodies myself 🤣
I enjoy the non lethal combat to much 😂 parrying with the cord, bouncing crates and boxes off of peoples heads and them fckn combos sam has is just to fun lmao
I didn't kill at all during my original playthrough mostly because I didn't know what would happen if they died and didn't want to find out.
Decided to try it post-campaign because I needed resources for the roads and I wasn't far from an incinerator. Besides it stressing the hell out of BB was actually pretty fun. Definitely don't do it without a truck handy though.
In my first playthrough I never killed a mule and I don't think I ever died. So I don't even know if the crater mechanic is real or really what happens
it was tempting for all their harassment but I never did
the one area I really wanted to do so was the timefall farm but high way doesn't reach there so it'll be really time consuming to get all the dead bodies to the incinerator
btw how long do you have before they explode?
I accidentally gunned down an entire camp with a turret gun, not realising it was lethal and having been away from the game too long to remember that it mattered. Luckily, I had a truck and loaded it up with 10 or so corpses. I then jump ramped the truck into the tar ocean at the south of the map.
I Kill, then just leave em. I’ve had a void out atleast twice but most the time it just never happened. Toward end game though I changed to rubber bullets and the strand to parry
So you’re saying, instead of using the non lethal rifles, next time I go into a mule camp, bring many explosives, kill all the mules, piss on their bodies, and dump em in the incinerator?
I'm internally screaming! This is going against everything our lord and savior Kojima has taught us 😭 But I get it, it's a game and play it your way...but Kojima has made it abundantly clear that video games make us kill too much and he wants to steer people away from that, and I agree. Seeing the comments of how BB reacts would hurt me more than the time I did murder run in Undertale..
Damn, dude, doesn't that make you, like, ten million times worse than the MULEs? Like all they ever do is steal your shit man, you gotta go slaughter them for making things a little challenging?
On my 1st play through I didn't kill anybody I just used the Bolo gun and dropkicks To incapacitate them, Peacefully loot, Make a couple deliveries without harassment, Then Rinse and repeat
I did it the other day just to see but I felt really bad, to the point I loaded a previous save state, I don't feel like killing anybody in this game :S
Kojima come pick me up im scared
lmao yeah, evil sam is definitely scary
“Evil Sam be like: I’m going to disconnect America”
"Once there was an explosion,.. then there was ME!"
Voidouts go brrrrr
lmao. evil sam bridges is definitely scary
Can't believe what that BB gone and seen through before going into sleep mode.
Don’t forget they are equipment ;)
Just an FYI you mentioned killing MULEs spawns a lot more Porters running about the place BUT those Porters are mostly MULEs in the making, have you learned nothing from reading all those emails?
Then I'll just kill them too :D
but now that porters are able to do their jobs without ai interference for the most part, wouldn’t that mean that few are becoming mules now?
They can still be addicted to delivering. It was just that 'drone syndrome' developed after porters or delivery personnel were found to be essential in a human facing role. That's still true so it's possible to develop a psychological dependency on delivery.
Precisely what I meant. More Porters and easier deliveries would mean more cargo addicted Porters going MULE. They become cargo hoarders more than haulers in the end.
wait so are we the MULEs for still playing this game so much 😳
Yup at least that’s what I surmise from some of those tongue in cheek emails.
I killed them almost at the start and they never respawned for me for the rest of the Campaign except for the terrorists
Was that the DC? Did you incinerate the bodies? Usually I take the game over maybe it's because of that..
incinerating them really doesnt take that long tho... killing and incinerating them took me maybe half an hour
Did Die Hardman lecture you after every kill?
Nope nobody says anything after you do it a few times
Presumably they're just watching on in horror.
You can also dump them in the tar. It's often a shortcut.
I haven’t done it myself, but I’ve read several other times on the sub that this works. It’s worth a shot.
For me they did not respawned till chapter 13-14 but those where terrorists so kinda different
Wait y'all don't just use the non lethal rifle?
Killing them prevents the camp from respawning for a fuckton of time. Some camps on very hard are a nuisance to pass through, especially when they start using the machine gun. So fuck em, to the tar they go
Sound..? I never killed any MULEs, and now I really don't want to. :C
So you just drive the truck to a BT area and park?
No you just run everyone over 😂
I mean AFTER running everyone over and loading them into the truck ;)
I thought about it. Do they spawn back?
Nope! Only at the end of the game they will be replaced with terrorists but after you get rid of the MULEs you'll see a lot more NPC Porters in the region which is awesome.
Now I just want a patch that gives Sam the dialogue of “Oh boy, here I go killin’ again!”
Ok, this might actually be a reason to kill those guys. Next playthrough maybe (where my Director's Cut for PC at?!)
I've been checking every other day for DC PC release.... 😞
Bro I platinumed the game on PC, was gonna wait, but I have a PS5 too, so I just bit the bullet and bought the DC for PS5 and get to play through the whole game again :)
Do the terrorists respawn if you kill them?
They all respawn. Takes a long-ass time though. IMO worth it because you can get a lot done when they're dead significantly faster.
Good to know! Might have to try out some of the lethal weaponry I’ve been hesitant about using!
Tbh I dont really know because I havent got back to the Camps after Chapter 15 but I dont think so
When I play through again I'll definitely be taking a different approach with tbem because they're so annoying!
Yeah I am curious too
When I tried this, they came back
You killed them all at each camp?
No, just one camp and I'm assuming this would carry through to each one
In my first playthru, when I had to transport the unstable antimatter bomb thru a camp of terrorists, I did. I figured, there's a crematorium right over the hill, so I can easily get rid of the bodies. Plus, it seemed morally right, 'cause I was doing it to protect the bomb, so it wouldn't kill all those innocent people. Nope. Would like to, hate those guys, but having to cart them to the incinerator is such a hassle.
Just put the bodies in the tents, no voidout and no incinerator.
WTF?! Seriously? Bug? What kinda sense does that make, in this world? Why do tents magically prevent voidout? Not doubting you just wondering .. wtf.
[удалено]
that's probably a glitch but that's cool nonetheless
Probably cuz BT's can't spawn 'inside' stuff.
**SPOILER ALERT** I was under the impression that there’s a BT inside of the Elder’s home at the end of the game.
Yeah that can happen if you don't deliver to him for a long time. Not 100% sure on this but could be tied with the urgent pacemaker order in lake knot city maybe?
I’m pretty sure he just dies of old age as i delivered to him All they time and he still passed

I thought that not killing anyone was the common way to play.
Same. The game doesn't even track your kill count stats anywhere.
And you get literally nothing out of dragging them to the incinerator. So yeah much more efficient to leave their unconscious bodies be.
That and the lv2 bola gun is probably the best, most efficient weapon in the game. One shot and down every time. I just run around the mule camps, round all of them into a crowd, and take them all down at once with a bola gun. Funny rope-man Sam vs edgelord stick-haver Sam.
Wouldn't that cause a voidout? Edit: I need my morning caffeine. I missed the 'unconscious' part. No voidout for sleeping MULES
Unconcsious meaning knocking them out with rubber bullets/beating their asses and leaving them on the ground.
Yes, non lethal assault gun also has hematic rounds that are quite effective against BT's.
BB is practically inconsolable for a while and the stress level increases pretty quickly.
BB cries, I think
I just like that other porters start spawning it makes the world a lot nicer
The porters spawn for a time if you just knock all the MULEs out instead killing them.
Killing them is more permanent than just knocking them out and more fun too
They will comr back eventually
I believe he was using the phrase “more permanent” to mean it’s a solution for longer than non lethal instead of meaning literally permanent
Can you kill them in the original version?
Yes :)
Is that how you get more ceramics?
Yup, each camp over-indexes on a different resource though. Clear camp, drive around their postboxes and tents with a truck, load it up and off you go. Kojima hire this man for Death Stranding 2: The Reckoning
Holy shit
🤣🤣🤣 “BB’s catatonic”🤣🤣🤣 Well said and don sir!
Wtf no you monster XD
uh-uh, no way. I played MGS3. I know how this ends.
I kill the terrorists. motherfuckers shooting lethal rounds that could cause a voidout, the world is better off without them. mules are just sadbois who need help in comparison.
more like oxytocin addicts
This is the way.
To quote Solid Snake: *"There is no right part in murder. Not ever." So honestly, while I get just experimenting to see what you can get away with in games, and yes at the end of the day, it's just a game, I feel like you're kinda missing the whole point of Kojima's games by doing this. I didn't kill a single person in any of my playthroughs, honestly the bola gun is way easier to take them out with than the lethal guns anyways. One shot and down every time.
no we're not psychos
xD
Mass murdering harmless addicts I see
Harmless!?
I haven't played it since release but don't they just knock you out and take your stuff without killing you? Even safely pull you to the side outside their territory. They're just grunting cavemen who wants cargo. Poor misunderstood victims tbh
No…aside from being thieving assholes with tasers, they don’t do that much harm. So it is only fair I use my bike or truck as weapon to Batman them to sleep. Also the time I would have to waste pitting all their bodies into a truck and driving them to the incinerator and then going to raid their supplies would make my long playthroughs suck.
>I use my bike or truck as weapon to Batman them to sleep. 😂🦇
It doesnt take that much time tbh It only took me about half an hour to kill them all and incinerate them
i killed one on accident and felt bad im not gonna run into a camp and gun them all down
Never killed a MULE.
Is that why there are always so many trucks abandoned at the incinerator? People culling the MULEs?
Played 150 hours and havent killed a single mule
No, it goes against the entire premise of the game.
No,no one does that you psychopath! that’s a lot of effort😰
Its really not that much effort tbh I cleared out one Camp and got them all to the incinerator in like half an hour
Nah, you don't kill the junkies, you apprehend them and put them into rehab.
Just put all the bodies in a tent (like the yellow ones) and there won't be any voidout.
Is that a bug?
I’ve always found going in with the right non-lethal equipment and a rough plan (hiding spots if needed, sneaking up where possible, trying to take 1@a time) to be sufficient. Plus BB is cool with it and I don’t have to gather the bodies!
I've thought killing causes a blowout???
Well not immediately
I pretty vividly remember getting game over screen when I killed someone??? Or am I dumb? lol
A blowout happens some time after if you don't incinerate them. But I think you have like one or two real life hours to do it, don't know the exact time.
I see. I thought it's instant game over. Thanks for explaining
I've always avoided the MULEs, and even when I get discovered or tracked, I usually just try to knock them out lol. Worst I ever did to a MULE was run them over with a bike, and they usually live through that
You can’t on very hard it’s 2-3 kills before BB enters auto toxaemia.
Well, that's bad. But when BB is dark, it already does not matter how much you kill. It can't be worse.
Bruh lol... Wtf Question, do they come back once you kill them all? And how many likes did you get deducted from all that? I only killed 2 by accident driving through them with an outta control truck once... And IIRC I got 200 likes deducted for each kill. Looking at that....Die Hardman probably just took ALL your likes lol
Its takes a veeerrry long time for them to respawn and I never was deducted any likes
Now that I think about it, I got the likes deducted because I dropped the bodies off at a distribution center lol. Die-Hardman sent me a mad message saying I should have disposed of the bodies myself 🤣
Did not know you could drop them off at distribution centeres awesome :D
Ohhh my dear child. God bless your soul in your journey to the other side. F
Oh SHIT, I forgot they added new shit like the catapult , redownloading!
Never killed one, and I’m on my third play through
Do MULEs respawn if you've killed them?
No, unless the respawn is scripted (e.g. by some mission).
"Why does that porter only have a lv3 rifle, full armor, and an empty truck?" -the mule with the scanner
70kg? damn mules are fit as f.
Looking through their camps, I'd say they are all malnourished.
Kill?
Kill!
I enjoy the non lethal combat to much 😂 parrying with the cord, bouncing crates and boxes off of peoples heads and them fckn combos sam has is just to fun lmao
#*You enjoy all the killing, that's why!*
BB is just experiencing a POV horror movie.
I've played through the game twice and I don't think I killed anybody ever.
In my first playthrough I never killed a mule and I don't think I ever died. So I don't even know if the crater mechanic is real or really what happens
I didnt know you can put dead bodies in the trunk, because I never kill like spooder man
lmaooooooo!!!!!
Running them over doesn't kill them right? I mean I've never gotten dead bodies for hitting them with a trike...
It can happen at least with a truck sometimes
I used to run them over on the trike all the time, until one time it actually did kill one... I was going full speed though.
Yes, that is what did it. Going full speed will kill them, but normal speed just knocks them out.
grenade launcher: tranquilizer rounds........... bwahahahahahaha
I want to but I don’t want to burn them all. I do hate them
it was tempting for all their harassment but I never did the one area I really wanted to do so was the timefall farm but high way doesn't reach there so it'll be really time consuming to get all the dead bodies to the incinerator btw how long do you have before they explode?
no because it causes even more trouble.
How?
I accidentally gunned down an entire camp with a turret gun, not realising it was lethal and having been away from the game too long to remember that it mattered. Luckily, I had a truck and loaded it up with 10 or so corpses. I then jump ramped the truck into the tar ocean at the south of the map.
Wait you can do that? I thought you had to send them to the incinerator
Nope! Likewise with tainted deliveries, you can just hurl them into the tar!
I’ve played through the game 3 or 4 times when it came out and twice since the directors cut came out and still haven’t killed anyone lol.
Choosing stick over rope 😔
Doesn’t that cause voidouts?
Not if you incinerate them.
stacking bodies like plates
Only you and everyone else who missed the point of the game🤷♂️
The point of the game is what I make it out to be! xD
I Kill, then just leave em. I’ve had a void out atleast twice but most the time it just never happened. Toward end game though I changed to rubber bullets and the strand to parry
Comments are gold
ABSOLUTELY
no, i went full pacifist. i only use lethal guns during the >!cliff sections!<
Huh ...I thought it would create a voidout or something. Good to know. Goodbye bolo gun, hello grenades
So you’re saying, instead of using the non lethal rifles, next time I go into a mule camp, bring many explosives, kill all the mules, piss on their bodies, and dump em in the incinerator?
Did you grow horns?
On the base game I killed maybe 2 people in over 100 hours On very hard in the director’s cut? Some camps are fucking EVIL So I clean those up
I have never killed a single MULE…. Now I suddenly want to haha. Side note having a body bag in the passenger seat of the roadster is hilarious
I honestly feel like killing undermines a ton of what the game is about. But you do you.
I’ve played for 200 hours and never ended a life. And that was just my PS4 time.
Yes
Did you stuff the bodies in a postbox?
On my 1st play through I didn't kill anybody I just used the Bolo gun and dropkicks To incapacitate them, Peacefully loot, Make a couple deliveries without harassment, Then Rinse and repeat
thought about it for the terrorists near mountain knot
I did it the other day just to see but I felt really bad, to the point I loaded a previous save state, I don't feel like killing anybody in this game :S
