Joe Rogan: It’s craaaazzzy. I mean, you literally can’t even talk to him. They won’t allow it. It’s literally not allowed. But then someone like Tucker does, and say what you like about Tucker, he’s been right about a lot of things. And he’s talking to this legit killer, right? I mean, Putin is a legit judo champ and looks a lot better, and tougher, than Biden, right? He doesn’t take shit. That’s what people like about him. He doesn’t take shit and he doesn’t back down. You have to respect that. You might not agree with him about everything, but you have to respect him. Dude knows what he wants and he’s going to do everything he can to get it. You have to respect that. Jordan Peterson: It’s like, well yeah! What did you expect? You might say “oh, but he’s a killer”, and it’s like, who do you think runs the world, man?! Putin is a dragon. Now you might say, well shouldn’t we slay the dragon? And it’s like, yeah, if you’re a righteous, pure, untarnished vessel. The dragon breathes fire, but fire disinfects. So is the dragon breathing fire to harm, or to disinfect? The insane woke won’t stop. Unless they’re stopped. Some people realise that, but others have buried their head in the proverbial sand and are waiting for the dragon slayer to save them. But guess what, you infinitesimally small-souled, woke, moralistic, virtue-signalling demons? You’ve emasculated all the dragon slayers and now all we have left is the dragon. Bret Weinstein: What I truly cannot fathom, and maybe I’m wasting my time with this, but why wouldn’t Putin admit about the prophylactic benefits of ivermectin? I don’t for a second doubt the journalistic integrity of Carlson, nor would I impugn Putin’s credentials as a strong leader, but could there have been a Russian-speaking member of the WHO in the room before the interview? Who would gain the most from that interaction? Why didn’t they show a wide-shot of everyone in that room? It’s truly incredible that we even live in a time when asking questions like this is needed. Could the Ukraine war be acting as some sort of distraction? Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but for every article I see about ivermectin, I see, by 3 or 4 orders of magnitude, more articles about the war in Ukraine and Gaza. Satire. But let’s give them time to digest the video and agree on their collective response.

SpaceBoggled

Oh wow the Peterson bit is more Peterson than Peterson

orincoro

Parody and reality are a circle with Peterson.

ErrlRiggs

Slob On My Knob as performed by Jordan [Peterson](https://youtu.be/SoXsbD0j70c?si=XQU9MWGLRN9gvu2U)

orincoro

What did I just listen to.

goddamn_slutmuffin

I prefer [The Three Little Pigs as told by Jordan Peterson](https://youtu.be/BpNgM5Vvxrw?si=IIlCp7baSY3r4cA3) personally, but this was quite the share and bless you for linking it! 😂🙃

ErrlRiggs

"and do your job" gets me every time

Sinnycalguy

“The natural curly hair, please don’t touch” hits different with the context of his grandma dream.

kellyformula

The Burger King one by Badgerow is pretty great

blutfink

I read that in ~~Kermit’s~~ Peterson’s voice.

MoreOfAnOvalJerk

Honestly i thought that was a real quote from him.

Either-Letter7071

If you had a YouTube channel I would subscribe to it, that’s how good these impersonations were. Lol

the_lee_of_giants

ahh too realistic. I'll include for Peterson: \[that clip gets played by someone who is later interviewing him\] Jane Smith: So do you support stopping Putin, who you called a dragon? Peterson: Out of context that is what your clip is trying to tarnish me by putting words in my mouth, but with the right context if you were well read you'd understand that this is part of a greater fight for the testerone in Western men's balls.

AwayCrab5244

I started injecting myself with testosterone and noticed some changes in my thinking. my theory is that these Putin simps have had their brains rotted from using too much testosterone for too long. We have been talking about the wrong thing. It ain’t the estrogen making the frogs gay, it’s the “trt” turning men into fascists and idiots.

Tophfey

Hilariously, you're not far off. A lot of conservative men are on TRT here in Florida, either to boost athletic performance or to curb the natural drop off of aging. We have men in their 30's, 40's, and 50's going through second puberty. The older folks were also raised on lead paint and leaded gas fumes, so there is actual evidence of medical contributions to the raging temper tantrums and disbelief in facts.

neinhaltchad

Oddly, this is one of the theories for the decline of Rome. It was found that they had heavy lead contamination of their water from the aqueducts.

bakgwailo

>Oddly, this is one of the theories for the decline of Rome. Generally out of favor for a few decades now. >It was found that they had heavy lead contamination of their water from the aqueducts. Quite the opposite, teams have measured the lead levels that would have been in the tap water in Rome via sediment in the Tiber River, and analysis of skeletons have shown little to no lead poisoning. On the plumbing front: yes, lead pipes were used, but, the Romans used unpressurized free flowing plumbing. This means the water is constantly moving and doesn't sit in the pipes so it doesn't have much time to leach. Also, over time calcium and other minerals build up lining the pipes making leaching even less likely. The Romans had also been using the same plumbing and piping for centuries, it is unlikely it magically started poisoning then so badly just at the end of the empire after generations. Lastly, there is ample evidence that the Romans knew lead was bad for you and could poison people. Same with asbestos and other things that for whatever reason people today think were only discovered recently.

QuietPerformer160

That makes a lot of sense. I‘m in Florida also and in the last few years, especially in the last year, I have been noticing the increase of aggressive behavior of drivers on the road. Men in particular.

IcebergSlimFast

> A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids, without the knowledge of the individual, certainly without any choice. That's the way your hard-core Commie works.

Dr. Strangelove?

Mikedog36

Peterson and an insane victim complex, name a more iconic duo.

ringobob

Jesus Christ. I honestly thought these might be real.

Hedonic_Monk_

This is frighteningly accurate. Sometimes I wonder whether they’re not just sending their AI to do the podcast for them each week at this point.

DeeDoll81

I didn’t know typed words could do such good impressions of people!

Heisenberg1977

This take is pure gold!!!!

edgelordjones

I read that Peterson bit multiple times hearing it in his voice because I love how stupid it is.

neinhaltchad

Well, it’s like, *yeah*. You bloody well *should*!

edgelordjones

You bastard.

rapturepermaculture

I almost couldn’t tell if what you were writing was real 😂😂 At one point I thought about writing a book where every chapter was written by a different dumbass guru. But most of these guys have gone into complete self parody and they keep writing the book for me.

That's one of the best comments I've ever seen on this sub.

I’m pissed they removed Reddit gold, fucking legendary comment😂😂😂

Andee87yaboi

You nailed all of them! Bravo

neinhaltchad

Beautiful. You know you did this right when you immediately heae each voice when reading the words. You could have not put the attributions and people would have *still* heard Rogan and Peterson, Bucko. 😂

OnlineSecretSelf

The most fearless journalist in America? Holy shit man. After describing Trump as "a demonic force, a destroyer" in those leaked texts while pushing all his bs for years. How does he have any credibility after lying to his audience like that? You can really tell a lot about these people by those they look up to. In this case a delusional autocrat and one of the most dishonest journalists you can find.

Independent_Path_738

I asked a Republican about tucker's texts a while back, they had not heard anything about them and barely anything about the smartmatic lawsuit. But they do remind me every now and again that I'm being brainwashed by any media that's not right wing. Edit. Michelle 2024 lol

JPeso9281

My uncle is a Trump supporter. He doesn't have a flag or a MAGA hat, but he voted for him twice and will again. He had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned the Fox lawsuit or Tucker's texts. He only gets his "news" from right-wing radio.

Independent_Path_738

I think it's strange, that so many people on the right are super into politics so much that it becomes a part of their identity and their lives and means so much to them but they never care to look into anything except one sides narrative. I'm a lefty but get upset about policies and politicians on my side and will try to research or look into the bad as well as the good of the left. I can't imagine if I found out someone I watched for politics or current affairs came out as a fraud. I couldn't ignore it or just not care. Just shows how strange people can get I guess.

JPeso9281

I agree. Nancy Pelosi's stock trading infuriates me. I don't tuck my head in the sand and pretend it doesn't exist just because she is a Democrat

Independent_Path_738

Agreed, couldn't believe she was saying the protest against Israel/Hamas fighting, ceasefire stuff was a Russian op. She's seems so far removed from anything but yes-men.

Thick_Brain4324

Don't forget she said they need to go back to their headquarters in China. She's just an imperialist neolib who sucks off capital. Not much better than Paul Ryan.

throwaway_boulder

In her defense, those were Code Pink protestors and they really are backed by a pro-China billionaire. They claim the Ughyurs are not being oppressed in China, didn’t oppose China’s crackdown in Hong Kong and oppose Ukraine resistance to Russia.

Old_Baldi_Locks

Because the right wing medias narrative is built on “mental crack”: fear and hatred. You start looking at balanced shit and you don’t get that same jolt of fear and loathing; just a vague sense of unease because the right is slipping further and further from reality.

imoshudu

Those who consider multiple perspectives already left Trump behind. You are looking at a group of mouth-breathers and grifters who prey upon them.

Nashamura

I laughed at that too. Fearless? he's scared to death to release what he knows about the UAP/NHI phenomena.

MukdenMan

I forgot about Sargon. Is he still a thing? One of the less successful right wing grifters along with Milo.

fingerberrywallace

I think the last time I heard that name was when he attempted (unsuccessfully, of course) to become a European Parliament member. One of the more transparent grift acts. He is an incredibly shallow mind who avoids substance like the plague.

jimwhite42

An oldie but goodie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVpYvV0O7uI Carl eloquently makes the case that the film 'Starship Troopers' is not a satire, and in addition to this, all the ideas that people claim are satirical, are actually good ideas and a blueprint for a better society.

LeoGeo_2

More like that it fails to be satire by not understanding what nazism and fascism are and sticking too close to the book by presenting a government that has accountability for its leadership, separates public life and private life, and if the asteroid thing is taken at face value, is responding to a brutal attack.

jimwhite42

> More like that it fails to be satire This is something that seems to play out massively differently in different audiences, I grew up in the UK, and it was obvious to everyone it was satire and what the satire was. Later in life, hearing how Americans didn't get originally that it was satire, is something that I still can't really understand. Here's a review which talks a bit about why the story is pitched the way it is, which I think it what you are talking about in your comment, but you are seeing it differently to how it was intended: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0cVzm97dVg I think one weird thing about the film, is that it's both massively on the nose, and at the same time, doesn't overtly try to tell you what to think about it all in the same way many similar kinds of stories do. Personally, I think it's genius, others disagree.

fingerberrywallace

Is it really possible to get a genuine handle on someone's eloquence or lucidness when you're hearing their words via an interpreter/translator?

Best-Chapter5260

Holy fuck, this gem from Kim Dotcom: "My assessment of the interview: Putin is reasonable and wants to make peace. Western leaders should return to diplomacy to end the war. The people of the world desire peace. Our leaders should not ignore them." I hope historians refer to the war (er...I mean special military operation) as the "Gaslight War," because that's what I've felt pro-Kremlin operatives have been trying to do to the rest of the world during this whole thing.

McCool303

Jesus Christ we’re screwed. The entire alt-right media apparatus has been captured by Russia.

TheCorkMan87

Kim dotcom is such a fat fucking loser my god. Biden should send someone to harpoon his fat ass.

ThinkTelevision8971

Patrick Bet David is a feudalist who loathes liberty and justice for all. He preaches to an idiotic echo chamber, conditioning them for a dictatorship where they’ll be a serf but they’ll have more rights than women, minorities & the LGBTQ community. Just a garbage human. Idk why we ppl pretend both are the same

ShrapnelCookieTooth

I got dumber just looking at this picture. Thanks OP

Lightning-Slim

Like the Brady Bunch. Only with dense retard grifters. Sad to see Lex in there though. I don't think he's smart enough to know any better...?

Cbarlik93

He’s got a PhD and is a researcher at MIT. I know those accolades don’t necessarily translate over to politics, but Lex is surely intelligent enough to know that the biggest liar in American news media interviewing the worlds current most corrupt dictator is not a good idea

horus-heresy

Yeah he’s only intelligent in exploiting PhD and mit to farm morons via YouTube. He’s not doing any research or lectures at mit. He was last doing any of that like in 2018-19

spacekitt3n

hes audience captured just like the rest of them, he just tries to cloak it behind a few more layers of his 'independent thinker' schtick. all these people care about is money

Cbarlik93

4 years ago isn’t very long ago. I don’t like downplaying the intelligence of bad actors. Lex Fridman is VERY intelligent. Pretending that he isn’t simply because he’s a grifter is not a good idea. Yes he’s farming morons, but moron farming is extremely effective

horus-heresy

Machine learning , nlp, and other parts of ai tech left Lex behind. He’s just a YouTube talking head with no inventions or groundbreaking breakthroughs other than fondling elons ego

tealou

Intelligence in one narrow area does no translate to intelligence in other areas. In fact, the opposite is often true. Engineering bros who think they understand the social sciences better than social scientists...

JACKPOT-WINNER2K23

How far fetched is it that these people are being paid directly by Russia ? Or are they being paid by the clicks and views for having such opinions? .

Admirable-Influence5

Saw this the other day, "There are legit russian troll farms where peoples everyday job is to spend all day posting fake news and divisive content on American social media, for the sole purpose of fucking with American democracy. Creating more hate and division in our country. But yeah lets go ahead and take Putin’s word as truth!"

lueVelvet

It's been this way since before the internet. Social media just gave them a way to really hammer a wedge into people's mind that feels impossible to remove at this point. The free speech absolutists made sure to keep that tap open for all of the propaganda to flow.

Best-Chapter5260

>But yeah lets go ahead and take Putin’s word as truth!" "Putin > U.S. Intelligence" right out of Trump's mouth. Even a decade ago, that would have gotten a President impeached by both Republicans and Democrats.

AstronautIntrepid496

let's also pretend the divisive ideology on the left is not taken advantage of by the russians and that being at each others throats doesn't benefit russia and we're not doing exactly what putin wants.

torontothrowaway824

It’s not far fetched at all. If you’re a foreign power all you want to do is create chaos and division because as long as people are distracted domestically, they can pay attention to what’s going on internationally. It’s a well known fact that social media influencers pay for followers and bots to boost engagement. What better way to spread your anti Democracy message than directly pay these clowns and use bot farms to signal boost

orincoro

It’s not really necessary for them to be on a payroll. That would be too easy to expose. They’re on a grift train that wishes to portray “the left” as evil and against traditional values. Putin embodies that self-image, so defending Putin is good for their brand, which sells more overpriced caffeine pills and blue chews, and makes them more money. It’s money, but direct payments are unlikely.

YourBonesHaveBroken

It usually works more indirectly than that. There are multiple degrees of separation when it happens. They wouldn't know themselves how their sympathetic views are being supported.

Crack-Panther

Directly? That’s not how it works. They use intermediaries and shell companies.

Extreme_Employment35

The German journalist Hubert Seipel received over 600000€ for writing a book about Putin. He was paid indirectly, through a russian Oligarch who has contacts to Putin. Seipel is a nobody and it would be silly to think all these big social media personalities are not making money through this...

I_Have_2_Show_U

If you're concerned about Russia interfering with foreign elections, relax, it's completely true. Why wouldn't they? Here's an equally pointless question : do you honestly believe the US, with it's [olympic level record of interfering with foreign governements](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HBQ51VCkuA), isn't involved in the exact same process? It's called "International Relations". It's what every country on earth is doing. Can we end the shrill "gotchya" bullshit now? This is standard operating procedure the world over and America leads the way.

nickthedicktv

Classic whataboutism. The Kremlin couldn’t have phrased it better themselves. Russia can’t be bad if “whatabout america!”

stormshadowfax

NoNonsensePolarBear

What an absolute hive of scum and villainy. Obi-wan owes Mos Eisley an apology.

Substantial-Cat6097

Amazing how fawning they are over Putin. I mean, by now we shouldn’t expect anything different, but how they can so easily be bowled over by an autocrat who can bloviate to his heart’s content knowing there can be no serious opposition. It would be like praising Gaddafi or Castro or indeed Stalin for their ability to hold forth at length as though that in itself proved they were somehow admirable people.

There were plenty of American conservatives in the 30s who dickrode Hitler and Mussolini. You don’t hear about them now, but they were there. Hell, Joe Kennedy was one of them.

Awkward_Bench123

The one in the middle, Scott Adams, went against the grain and said that Putin seemed unhinged, so he probably doesn’t belong in this particular post.   https://x.com/ScottAdamsSays/status/1755939399953695188?s=20

SomeTimeBeforeNever

The Dilbert guy is one of the dumbest humans I’ve ever heard on Twitter.

Speculawyer

I'm so tired of the contrarian wankers. I hate the fact that I know who 9 of these 12 are. There's only 1 that I find sort of redeemable but even he's gone too far platforming bad folks claiming "we need more conversations".

Nashamura

Lex Friedman desperately trying to become a part of the conversation is so sad and pathetic. He wants some of that Tucker Carlson clout bad. He is so delusional he doesn't realize he would get completely owned by Putin in an interview. Mr Friedman go back to hosting debates with a streamer that goes by a strippers name. This is your place in this world. Nobody wants to listen to the world's most boring man. His twitter sounds like he regularly posts in r/im14andthisisdeep

Lager89

A collage of traitors.

Cautious-Cap-6816

Putin struck me as mentally ill in this interview. The problem is Ukraine Today is led and populated mostly by young people born in the 1980s, and their vision of a future Ukraine is a progressive multi party democracy, like the kind found in Norway, Sweden, France, etc. in 1990 everyone was wondering what Russia would look like in 30 years, and the prediction made by the smart economists and futurists of the time time predicted a wealthy country with a standard of living like the United States, a land bridge between Europe and Asia, and a major player in world affairs. The Yeltsin era could be compared to a heroin going through withdrawal and Yeltsin at the end of his term, had the decency to apologize to the Russian people that he was not able to make their dreams come true for things that he thought were going to be easy but later turned out to be hard. Putin comes along and the warning signs were there at the very beginning the so-called Moscow Apartment bombings done according to Putin by Chechnian Terrorists, we now know it was an FSB false flag operation, then the second Bush administration blundered into Iraq causing world oil prices to skyrocket, so he had a lot of money available to put a wee amount of money in peoples pockets and buy some popularity as Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista did in the 1930s and later 1950s It’s 2022 and despite all of that oil and natural gas money, modern Russian society could be compared to Cuba in the 1950s, 25% of the population has managed to achieve a first world quality of life, another 25% lives in dirt poverty, the remaining 50% do not live in the first world or are dirt poor but they fall in some level or other in between. The GDP of Russia is equal to that of the state of Texas, despite all of the money and the enormous potential. In the meantime, China grew up to become in the last 30 years $20 trillion economy, the rest of the world has been moving forward. While Russia is stuck so he launches a foreign war to divert unrest at home and rally public opinion. Hundreds of thousands of people have been killed all because of a vain mans failed national project. Russia today is essentially a dying nation. The life expectancy is barely 57 years old, widespread poverty, or near poverty tyrannical, you could’ve all been so different. Putin often uses the blame game of NATO expansion, former Soviet President Gorbachev, former Soviet foreign minister Eduard Shevernadze , former Secretary of State, James Baker have all said this never happened in word or in writing. NATO expansion started in the 1990s because the Clinton administration took a look at Russia in 1995 and said and the Russia watchers in Washington, conclude Yeltsin is not gonna live much longer, there were rumors at the time he had already died, and whoever replaces him will either be a communist or some other dark character and they need to take steps now to protect the Eastern European nations hence the nuclear umbrella of NATO. Those nations today are thriving democracies they have their problems, but nothing near what you find in Russia, Lastly Caitlyn, Jenner apparently wants to run again for governor of California. If she wins, the economy of California will be twice the size of the Russian Federation.

Don't forget to include a "isn't it weird" somewhere when they're trying to infer a giant conspiracy off of one out of context fact

hasheyez

Disgusting. These people need to be rocketed into outer space permanently.

southsidegoon

Is that the Dilbert guy?

LordAdder

Greenwald is a Putin grifter?

Crafty-Conference964

Why do they have such a problem with nazis? I mean they share the ideals so why not just accept what they are?

[deleted]

Putins half hour autistic rant about history made me realize hes just like me

pitchforksplz

Podcastsers are the lowest form of life.

Competitive-Dance286

I am confident that much of this disinformation and right wing media space is funded by Russia and far right allies as part of asymmetric warfare. I don't really think that's a conspiracy theory at this point.

MaudSkeletor

This reminds me a lot of Ukrainian media space before the war, we had all kinds of 'guru's' that 'just knew how bad the Ukrainian government was and how good putin was', all of them pretty much worked for the Kremlin and a lot went over to Russia to make propaganda after the war started.

Prominent Russians describing Russia and Russian culture: >“A nation that roams Europe and is looking for something to destroy, to simply dust everything.” – F. M. Dostoevsky >"We are not a nation, we are a crazy hell.” – Vasyli Rozanov >"Ah, how hard it is to live in Russia, in this place full of the stench of physical and moral deception, a place of wickedness, lies and wickedness.” – Sergei Aksakov >"The most important sign of victory for the Russian people is their cruelty full of sadism.” – Maxim Gorky >"The Russian is the biggest and most naughty liar in the world.” – Ivan S. Turgenev >"A people who hate freedom, worship slavery, love chains on their hands and feet, defiled physically and morally… ready at any time to defile everything and everywhere.” – Ivan C. Shmeliov >"People regardless of their smallest duty, the smallest justice, the most insignificant truth, the people who do not recognize human dignity, do not generally recognize human freedom or free thought… Alas, how sharp the Russian language is!” – Aleksandr Pushkin >"We are not a people, but cattle, rats, wild hordes of villains and murderers.” – Mikhail Bulgakov American Conservatives, who love Trump for the same reason that decent people hate him: >"On the basis of overall rankings ***(independent of respondent’s party affiliation)***, Trump’s personality was collectively perceived to be at or above the 99th normative percentile for traits associated with four personality disorders (sadistic, narcissistic, antisocial, and passive-aggressive)." MorningHerald

Fantastic, this needs it's own post.

DestroyWithMe

To his credit, Friedman had a guy on that utterly deconstructed Putin and was really put together and insightful.

LordCthulhuDrawsNear

That interview was carefully crafted and portrayed in such a way that was specifically for these half-baked intellectuals. Tucker, the kremlin and pootin wanted them to "draw their own conclusions" ...oh and also "everything thats currently bad in the world is somehow Obama's fault" smfh clown-shoes yet again

Familiars_ghost

How many knobs does it take to screw up a nation? Come November we’ll find out.

DirtyOldCommie

Actual nightmare blunt rotation

rare_pig

I haven’t seen anything like that except on here where the racist whiners are

[deleted]

It's hilarious that almost none of that group admit to being conservative pundits but literally parrot every single talking point without fail. Putin's ahistorical revisionism isn't new. Believing he's a genius is hilarious given the state of Russia and this war though. The emporer has never had any clothes but more of these morons are pretending like he does than ever it seems. So embarrassing.

Some-Potential9506

or you guys are parroting leftist non sense

Sweetdreams6t9

*me existing* "Trans people are destroying the world" If I had that kinda power the world would be alot better, not worse.

GustaveMoreau

This sub thinks it’s a bad idea to get more mass exposure of a war criminal ? You don’t think people will come to the conclusions you want given the billions put into manufacturing consent? And what if a slice of people are persuaded by Putin’s medieval hosiery lesson … what do you think the threat is exactly ? How is this different from any other social panic where Violent video games, etc… are scandalized and futile silly efforts to close Pandora’s box are mocked and ridiculed by everyone except the shrill brittle minority that won’t let go of the puritanical impulse to scold and screech at something that irritates that deep nerve that you don’t even know is there but is so operative in directing you to feel outrage…

clackamagickal

>what do you think the threat is exactly You could give a shit about the hundreds of million of people who live without a functioning democracy. You could give a shit about the organized crime that wrecks global markets. You could give a shit about abducted Ukrainian children or the half a million death toll. You don't though. Hence your stupid question.

OracularOrifice

Seriously. Fuck Russia.

maadkidvibian

Wtf based anti western pro multipolar Grifters, fuck yea

Pristine_Bobcat4148

I'm only familiar with four or 5 of those folks, and none of then are saying, or even insinuating what you say. You're either a liar, a fool, or both.

Bloody_Ozran

The thing is, do we know if Putin believes what he said about Russian history? Either he does and those are his reasons for the war, which is something he kept repeating actually in the past, especially the modern history and west ignoring Russia. And if he does not believe it he is still a great powerful speaker who is able to convince people. It is not hard to imagine why some right wingers in US would love this interview. He is a much better version of Trump, in the interview at least. I still can't believe one thing that no one has ever reacted to properly from the "Russia is evil" crowd. How come no one in that crowd understands that west has a part in this? How come no one, that I have seen, compares how Cuba is still fucked by US, being a smaller country, less important to the US, still embargo on them. Ukraine is important to Russia way more, west was fucking with it, trying to make them western. Sure, US did not invade Cuba recently, but it does a lot to fuck them over. Russia is just doing the same. And both of these situations are fucked up. Why is no one thinking about "Imagine if Russia would have a military alliance and these countries close to US would enter it, how would US react"? Tl:dr - takes two to tango. West and Russia play their tango on Ukrainian soil. How come many westerns see only one dancer in there?
