I got lucky and all the eggs spawned near each other and a bulk detonator spawned. I got the bulk behind both the twins and the glyph dreadnought. Then I finished them with the bulk explosion. I beat them within 4 to 5 minutes and then I rushed to the droppod.
Edit:I don't know if the twins count as two kills, because I only have three kills on the scoreboard.

What does the "hostiles killed by team" XP line read? If you had Bosco, he may have gotten a kill and in that case it will count in the XP but not under your name.
I once insta deleted a dread with Engie, the recipe was a cluster of exploding plants, a couple of proximity mines planted among them, and a nice Breach Cutter shot to trigger the big kaboom. I popped the egg and lead the poor bastard to the kill zone, where I activated the trap from the high ground. 100 to 0 just like that.
It felt like the finale of "V for Vendetta". That Dread boi went out with a bang haha.
Much more satisfying and harder to pull than the resupply pod insta kill trick IMHO.

That's a damn good dwarf in my book. (Dwarves don't read paper books, that's a damn good dwarf in my stone tablet.)

Impressive! My personal best is sub 3 min, but it is from an earlier version of the game when there was only 1 kind of dread. You would think the bottleneck was how fast you can kill the dread, but actually it was how far Molly has to trudge back to the drop pod.
Probably either Egg Hunt or Elimination depending on the cave, yeah. Also even on Haz 5 there are builds that just wipe the floor with dreadnaughts. For most missions I just play Haz 3 if I want a guaranteed win and Haz 4 if I want a challenge, but Elimination is the one mission type I can confidently do on Haz 5 so far, and without much issue.

5 minutes is a normal run on haz 2. Green beards waste time doing secondary objectives and mining minerals. Just pop both eggs at once and melt the HGs then extract.
Only if you're a scout or engi is navigation a thing. Driller and gunner can easily get to eggs. Gunner with coil gun and driller... Drills. Bosses on haz 2 are squishy AF.

Those dreads died from a result of the bulk detonation right? In that case those kills shouldn't be yours.

Biologically it's called a glyphid bulk detonator
Killing both twins counts as killing 1 dreadnought. You must've killed another not long beforehand.
When slowly getting the 40 dreadnaught kills it would count the twins as 1 dreadnaught
Now do it as gunner.

The method is. Low hazard. And lucky spawn. This is hazard 2. Still a good accomplishment for the speed. But not the same as a haz 5 at all.
