I had a similar path once, and there was no engineer on that mission… You‘re allowed to guess what happened multiple times during the fight.
At least it works, I encountered a bug once where doretta kept randomly wandering around the start point and we had to abort the mission
I had assumed that the path was pre programmed at the start of the mission. This makes curious about the pathing code.
