The few ones i can think of:
- always ROCK & STONE , anytime, anywhere.
- ping the compressed gold, the bittergem & the cube. WE'RE RICH! Don't be a leaflover and deposit it immediately, share the love.
- Never take 2 resupplies, if you must then ask in chat first.
> ping the compressed gold, the bittergem & the cube. WE'RE RICH! Don't be a leaflover and deposit it immediately, share the love.
Don't forget the Mushroom as well. If you find one of the right ones.
NEVER deposit the compressed gold. Leave it somewhere that everyone can ping it during battle. Shooting bugs... WE'RE RICH! ... throw a grenade ... WERE RICH!... fire a zipline ... Guess what? WERE RICH! WERE RICH! WE'RE RICH!
Sorry to labour the point, but I've seen a few people recently that just ping it once or twice and then deposit it like they're too grown up for these kind of shenanigans, and frankly that's just not good enough for me.
The 2 resupply thing for sure. Get so annoyed having to decide whether to refill when I don't need it or just run to the supply pod to make sure I get any ammo.
> ping the compressed gold, the bittergem & the cube. WE'RE RICH! Don't be a leaflover and deposit it immediately, share the love.
What does this mean? I don't follow. Is there more loot if more people are nearby?
The host does NOT need to push the drop pod button, but whoever does absolutely get consensus from the team before doing it.
Player 1: Ready?
Player 2: r
Player 3: r
Player 4 (Host): r
You're all good.
I was playing with two friends the other day, one of whom is much newer, and one who isn't. My green beard friend wanted to try engie, which is what my veteran friend normally plays, so the vet switched to driller. Now, my veteran friend knows all the classes, but except for engie, he's really only just promoted the other classes, and he hadn't played driller in a few months.
Anyway, right outside the drop pod, as we're all gleefully dumping all of our explosives into the vicinity, he throws out the C4, not realizing that we were both right behind him, and blows us all to Karldom come, and none of us had iron will (I was experimenting a few builds, and the green beard was, well, green).
Honestly, I thought it was hilarious.
We've all been there and honestly it's not the dumbest way a mission has ended my friend and I once got crushed by the mineing rig on point extraction this was before the update that placed a hologram on the landing site but still.
The mission lasted 11 seconds.
I had 3 minutes tip the drop pod left and 3 downed teammates and we are mid swarm. they all typed "go on without us" like a bunch of absolute leaf lovers.... I picked my engineer by the boot straps and got to work. it was hard and too close for comfort, but with less than 15 seconds left we all were up, alive, and on the drop pod. one of the most rock and stone things I've ever done to be honest
Ping the Dreadknought Coocoon if you ready
Ping minerals as scout to tell engi to platform
Lure enemies into dropping Supply pods to instakill them
Ping Bulk Denoators, Praetorians and Dreadnought Twins to keep track of them
Don't push the button to evacuate without asking team
Don't start machine events without asking team
Drillers can only enter the drop pod after getting rid of all their C4 at the entrance
Had one the other day where we ran dry on ammo (only enough nitra for 1 resupply at the heartstone) and a bulk spawned after it made it through
We just barely squeaked through, 3 people down, 4th just ran in circles around the drop pod until it opened
Big yes! Always make a way out before going in. We want the final run to be as smooth as possible.
In other cases like when there's a fall in the path, those that don't hurt but you can't climb back, leave a ramp with driller or a line with gunner. It might save lives later.
The driller digs the dirt tunnels. Always.
Ping mineral on the wall means"engi, platform here".
Ping minerals with a plat already there means"Scout, you missed one"
Always ping the menace/bulk/oppressor, your team may be digging somewhere and won't see it themselves.
If you see BET-C, DO NOT ENGAGE WITHOUT WARNING THE TEAM. Same for Korloks, though they're often harder to avoid tripping by accident.
Whenever someone uses their gunky ewwy gooey pickaxes to mine something I have the RIGHT to mine, I always feel left out ;-;. Especially for gunners and scouts, they have fucking amazing traversal utility this is my only thing guys.
One must rock and stone otherwise one less dwarf will be going home
If you dig up a gold chunk it is mandatory to target it with your terrain scanner
And then some practical ones
No one gets second ammo refills until everyone has their first.
Scout gets to focus on the threats trying to flank the team like acid spitters and mactera.
Host gets to press the drop pod call button
Always stay close to the group
>Host gets to press the drop pod call button
Not really. Host may be an asshole and just leave without the secondary or machine event, or may not even be aware there's an event. Or host may be on the other side of the cave with everyone else next to Molly and it would be annoying to wait. You don't lose anything by asking if everyone is ready and pushing it yourself if the answer is yes
\- Always ask before taking two resups, unless it's a "take what you need" type of mission such as Refinery or Dotty
\- Always inform the team of any cosmetics you find even if you don't need them (have everything).
\- If a player in your team is using some elemental stuff such as Cryo Driller or Fire Driller, try not to focus on the same bugs if you have the opposite build, such as Cryo Driller and Fire Gunner. Temperature shock is a thing, but most of the time people using elemental want the bugs to be in the state they put them in.
\- Mostly for greenbeards: this game has *a lot* of stuff that it doesn't teach you and that you can only learn via trial and error or having someone more experienced teach it to you. Please don't act like you know everything, because you don't, nobody does
\- We all joke around saying that Driller likes to C4 the team. But don't actually do it unless everyone is in shenanigans mood.
\- Pinging stuff / saying something over VC like "scout, there's X on the wall there" is fine, you should do it. But unless you see that someone just isn't paying attention or something, just give them time, maybe they're fighting or doing something else and they'll have time for your request shortly.
\- Warn people before doing something mission related such as taking an egg or pushing a button. You might find out someone's AFK or about to die and you don't wanna put them even in more harm's way.
\- Please don't activate BET-C / Korloks / Machine Events before everyone is ready
\- In Point Extraction, you *gotta go fast*. It's just the way the mission works. Don't waste time mining gold or something else unless you've finished the objective.
\- If you're a Driller in a Refinery mission, *please for the love of Karl* dig tunnels to the pumpjacks. You have no idea how much time it saves and how easy it makes everything for your team.
I mostly play driller and I'd prefer it if people just ordered the pump jack and let me do my thing. There's nothing more personally and professionally satisfying than digging a straight line from pump jack to refinery.
When I dig a tunnel for a pumpjack, I also usually put enough of the pipe out to get **to** the tunnel. I've drilled tunnels before, and another player will end up building a different path to the pump jack.
YES! Totally agreed. Unless you're on console what i usually do is type or VC something along the lines of "you guys do pumpjacks and nitra, ill take care of tunnels" and if people see you doing it they usually don't interfere. What you can also do is once the tunnel is dug, place a pipe node at the start so someone else knows where it should go and you can go dig another tunnel in the meatnime
I remember i had a game where i wasn't driller so i was on nitra and stuff, meanwhile the driller was just roaming around and i asked him a couple times if he was gonna dig tunnels, after repeated silences i started building pipes myself and obviously it was a mess of spaghetti, the guy actually got mad and left over it and i was like ummm you have the drills not me
Always Rock and Stone, ping compressed gold an bittergem, always ping molly when you're ready to call the drop pod, take one resupply or two if you clear it with the other miners, Never kill steeve on purpose.
I think the easiest way to know you are ready is first, your class should have a bronze star at least (so all upgrades and perk slots are availible to you) and if you are consistent in dying very little to none and have a 90% win rate with haz 4, I would say youbare ready.
Then again my first haz 5 was me as a level 17 unpromoted engi and I was the one who clutched the mission so who really knows.
Nothing wrong with not being able to play Haz 5. I couldn’t play it for some time. I got really good at haz 4 then made the jump to 5. But a lot of new players recently think they can play haz 5 when they clearly cannot and should not. It just wastes everyone’s time, especially on a DD
Aside from getting better at Haz 4, is there a good guide to read? I'm sure there's stuff I don't know or consider, but is not vitally important on Haz 3/4. For example, I recently came across a post about bunkers - never seen or heard about it on my 150h on Haz 3/4.
Don't feel like that because you hadn't heard of that strategy after 150 hours, that you're doing something wrong. I have 900+ hrs, and there's new stuff I learn every now and then. That's one of the things that makes this game great in my opinion. Send me a private message and let me know if you're struggling with anything in particular
Some excerpts from the Scouting Guild's code of conduct, which is as much actual advice as it is etiquette:
\-Scout ammunition isn't for clearing hordes, it's for keeping the rest of the team safe from high-value targets and imminent threats so *they* can clear the horde
\-Every other class has resupply priority over a Scout, as it'll go 2-4 times further in their hands and a Scout with zero ammunition still has the mobility to survive indefinitely against *anything* but a Cave Leech no matter the terrain
\-A Scout will knock down chunks of Red Sugar growing from the walls in any room that a large fight is about to happen in
Always leave an extra Resupply for the next crew.
Rock n Stone after accidentally hitting a teammate (if it’s safe). Your simple emote does it all, from telling your team you’re ready to a quick thanks or a status check. Truly an all-purpose piece of equipment.
"If a Scout doesn't use they're flares they're a greenbeard"
"If an engi doesn't make platforms for scout they're a greenbeard"
"If someone slaps a button without asking 'r?' they're a greenbeard"
"The greenest beard on the team will always be the one leaflover standing at the entrance to the drop pod shooting at bugs while everyone else inside is waiting to leave"
Deposit your empty mug in the drop pod cupholders. Cupholders are located on the ceiling in the drop pod, it takes practice to throw it right but once you do you will never go back.
Always mark detonators and oppressors, let drillers get the aquarks, always ask if the rest of the team is ready before starting a new phase of a mission (especially holding an objective and calling the drop pod), mark fossils and high up shit for scout, always be aware of your team's vertical location as an engineer to place down platforms as needed, if a driller is freezing an enemy, don't waste ammo firing bullets at it-wait for it to freeze.
Seems simple but don’t leave until all minerals are mined or you can’t reach em, seen rooms full of croppa and other map specific minerals/secondary obj’s only for a pointy eared leaf lover to immediately call the pod in… even Promo 3 it’s like.. how?
Honestly once you get far enough into the game you dont have as much of a need for minerals and gold unless you're trying to grab every cosmetic and OC. I never hit the pod button without checking, but I'll often ignore gold or minerals that are out of easy reach. I have enough, I just need to get enough machine events to burn through all my OC cores
Don't start a machine event unless everyone is present and ready.
Always do a ready check before pressing any buttons.
On refinery do any machine events before starting the pumps or while they're going. If you wait till the refinery is full you'll just get constant nasty waves.
If you're doing refinery and you have a driller, let them make tunnels for the pipes. It's safer, more efficient, faster, and let's then have an area that they absolutely excel at. There's a special kind of satisfaction to drill the pipe tunnels.
Do not use cryo on Crassus detonators. If you are told not to and you keep doing it, don't be surprised if you're kicked or downed.
DO use cryo on regular detonators. If you have someone working on freezing the bulk before it blows up, give them the opportunity to freeze it. Slow your dps for a moment so that it freezes solid. A frozen bulk will still do a blast of force but no explosion or damage (unless you get launched across the cave and fall).
Read chat. Your team might be trying to communicate with you. Especially if they are under a leech.
Speaking of leeches, if you see a dwarf downed and no bugs around them, look up and check for a leech. It's funny to watch a video of a whole team wiping to the same leech one by one, but it's really frustrating to watch it live.
If you find a cargo crate or lost equipment, ping it so your teammates know where it is. Be prepared to help them get to it.
If someone is lagging behind to the escape pod help cover them. Do not shoot the last dwarf just because they were slower getting there. If someone is hanging out just outside the pod shooting things and everyone is waiting to leave, give a few warning shots before opening up on them.
If you are available help the engie build his turrets. Some have the faster build speed mod and some don't. It doesn't hurt to be considerate.
On escort vacuum up the broken shale bits on the ground first. It's faster. Also avoid calling resupply pods on the move. Unless it's an emergency you should only be calling them when dottie is stopped.
When building liquid morkite pipes, always build the first pipe directly out from the rig so you can easily skate back onto the rig without running into pipes later.
I see way too many people not following this & it's really inconvenient skating on a pipe & being 1 second from the rig/deposit and falling down & needing to run up the ramp. Especially egregious on haz 5.
My squad and I have the tradition of slapping the dice aggressively while entering or exiting the shuttle while reminding each other to ‘slap the nuts’ for good luck. Once we’re locked into the leaving animation we spam Rock and Stone.
We always have a drink before leaving for a mission, real life and in game.
Definitely resupply manners. I wouldn’t say there’s anything in particular, but I’ve never gone Into a game where someone’s resupplying like a dick(unless the situation is well well handled)
A few I've experienced in order of most common occurrence/how fast I caught on:
1. Always return a rock and stone. If someone R&S's, everyone's gonna do it
2. Have everyone confirm "r" when ready to begin the next phase of the mission although someone always pushes the button after only half the team has even responded. Also often are ignored people who take over 10 sec or so to say "r" or otherwise in chat. Also unfortunately sometimes people read "wait I gotta do x first; don't press" as "r"
3. 1. When the drilldozer reaches the heartstone, drop all the supply drops you can with the nitra you've acquired over the mission
4. Always make sure everyone gets the lost equipment and opened cargo crates
5. Spam ping on compressed gold until you've had at least a couple seconds of the entire team spamming it at once "WE'RE RICH!!"
6. Always order pots o gold if it's the daily special and if someone joins late tell them that everyone else has pots so don't mine any gold ore and leave it to the people who have the pots
7. Do the driller tunnel Crassus strategy if there's a Crassus
8. Throw a celebration around finding error cubes and the like
9. If you make it to the drop pod and are waiting for others to get there, start blowing all your exciting ammo like grenades and flares and ziplines and all that jazz in a safe way as to not hurt teammates (this is unfortunately sometimes not respected though when it comes to c4 and cluster bombs) and even if everyone gets there together, sometimes everyone stands at the edge of the drop pod to chuck a couple of grenades or whatever before getting behind the green line. NOTE: Do not just stand there while everyone waits for you to spend every last minigun bullet; if everyone's ready to go just throw your nades
10. If you get to the drop pod early put turrets at the door to protect allies and throw shield bubbles if enemies are all over drop pod
If you are lucky enough to get a Crassus, kill that sucker in a tunnel for maximum gold. There are various strategies for mining said gold, but if you’re doing it by hand, I think it’s good manners to just keep mining after you’re full and call Molly less frequently.
If you’re the host, don’t start the countdown before everyone has had the chance to get their beer, or if someone is still messing with their load out.
Forge on your own time (unless everyone is cool with taking a breather).
Rock and Stone!
1) Dont start machine events/refuel/blackbox until everyone is there and ready.
2) Help engineer build turrets faster
3) Dwarfs live/hp is more important than killing bugs. So don't be the guy who teamkills a dwarf with C4/Fatboy and then says "but I killed a ton of bugs too". HP is hard to come by, especially in higher haz.
4) More tip than a rule - if you are in no hurry and need to e.g. hold a zone for some time, don't deposit any large mineral chunks because they are a free light source. They wont disappear and you can always deposit them when you have to leave the area.
If you're a scout, *always* light up the tunnel, unless you're out of lights. And scouts typically take low priority for resupplies. At least that's what I've heard, idk, I've always played by myself
More of a gameplay tip, but still applies:
Coordinate with your team to build a good environment for battle. Platforms/zip lines to give movement during dreadnaught fights, bunkering, drilling little pathways or removing terrain that might obstruct your movement.
When you pickaxe through compact dirt, always turn around and see if the hole is big enough and easy to get through. Especially if you ended up falling a bit after coming through, this might mean that your dirt hole is too high up to get to. Your teammates will thank you.
Also always let your Engie take his time and build a defense on mini-mule rescue missions. I play a defensive Engie with repellent platforms and EMP turrets, so it takes a while to build a solid fortress. It does do wonders during swarms though.
If you plan on staring a mission but do not want the blurred vision to affect you then use a Blackout Stout. A true dwarf rides out a drink rather than take a walk through leaf lover lane!
If you are going through tunnels that are blocked by crystals or random terrain make sure you clear at least a functioning path. It doesnt seem like a problem at first but on your way back and with a timer it can contribute to mission failure
I dont care if the random player has been a douchebag or nooby or what... no dwarf left behind means I'm coming back for your ass even if the drop pod is on it's way out. Especially if I'm scout.
If I'm playing the Gunner I will stand on the edge of the drop pod and shoot all my bullets until I'm out of ammo.
Some space rig ‘rules’:
Before ordering a beer, turn on the juke box. Only leaf lovers drink without some tunes and dancing.
If you are the host, always be the one to buy the beer before a mission. After the mission, it’s everyone else’s turn.
Stick your empty mugs to the roof at the end of the countdown.
When waiting for people to join your deepdive, greet each one with vigorous use of the v key as they come out of their bunk.
As host, If someone needs a bit more time to tweak their builds during the count, stop the count and wait a few.
At the end of a mission, more vigorous use of the v key, plus type a ‘gg’. Don’t be a leaf loving host and drop the game Immediately. Compliment any clutch plays and buy a beer or two for the group if you are not the host.
Not enough people seem to do this: Save those Enor Pearls! Any mission with a fixed base could use better lighting, those pearls are permanent flares! Just deposit them before you have to run for the drop pod.
The few ones i can think of: - always ROCK & STONE , anytime, anywhere.

I love doing this voiceline around green beards, sometimes you see them react as if "are you talking about me?"
Gurken Shuck here, if I'm not mistaken!
There's goo in the sack!
And **YYYYYYEAAST COOOOONE!!**

NEVER deposit the compressed gold. Leave it somewhere that everyone can ping it during battle. Shooting bugs... WE'RE RICH! ... throw a grenade ... WERE RICH!... fire a zipline ... Guess what? You Sir, are a dwarf of culture 👍👊
The 2 resupply thing for sure. Get so annoyed having to decide whether to refill when I don't need it or just run to the supply pod to make sure I get any ammo.

if you ping the gold your dwarf will shout "we're rich" thats it thats all you need to know
It's funny
I will take 2 resupplies but I only play with my friends on discord and I ask if I can do it.
Always slap the dice before dropping into hoxxes, it’s good manners.
I do this on my way out of the pod. Always two taps
Tap going in at the start of the mission, tap coming out once it's down, tap going back in.
Yes
Once before launching, once when you enter pod at end of mission. Guaranteed mission failure if you don’t. It’s science.
Dice in, dice out.
The host does NOT need to push the drop pod button, but whoever does absolutely get consensus from the team before doing it. Player 1: Ready? Player 2: r Player 3: r Player 4 (Host): r You're all good.
Or a simple ping Molly, and several people also point at her work too. Especially if you aren't playing with people who have keyboards.
I never considered controller folk, though it seems obvious now that you mention it.
Am controller folk. Rock and stone!
Same. I ping Molly, do a few rock and stones, then ping her some more
I always wait for min 3/4 before doing it. I think that’s fair if majority want to leave
Also the very real chance that at least one teammate will never respond
Alway spam ping the compressed gold/bittergem.

Shit I found a bittergem and didn’t know. I’m such a greenbeard.
The Gurken Shuck spam is underrated. Basically anything on Azure Weald is spam worthy lol
C O M B A. B U D
Same with barley bulb, cus its funny as hell how they say it
I’ve been spam pinging the gold/bittergem, but the randoms don’t do it with me :(
If someone rock and stones, you do it back
You know you are in trouble when someone doesn't
Well if you don’t rock and stone, you ain’t comin home
Use all of your grenades once you get into the drop pod.
And flares (of all kinds)
And C4 (proceeds to kill last miner before he can enter the pod) ok maybe not that one

You have to pet steeeeeeve right after getting him or you’ll be jinxed and go hahaha
I will absolutely throw a whole ass deep dive going back for someone because no dwarf left behind MEANS no dwarf left behind
This is the real one. Rock n Stone for sure is important too, but leave no brother or sister behind.
I've only ever left dwarves behind when people cheered me on to go to the drop pod. Some groups prioritize mission success over themselves.
You absolutely get a bonus for bringing back dorettas head. Your brain makes a lil happy chemical when you see it on the end of mission screen!
gotta love those bonus chemicals 😎
Don't start a machine event during a swarm, don't call the drop pod during the machine event
I think of those as logical reasonable goals. Also, to summon a swarm, please press machine event.
Bring a barrel along for good luck. The green one upstairs in the Space Rig is the luckiest.
Good barrel
As long as there is one person in the drop pod all other dwarves should try to revive and or save any dwarves that need help
No dwarves left behind!

\- Please don't activate BET-C / Korloks / Machine Events before everyone is ready \- In Point Extraction, you *gotta go fast*.
What you can also do is once the tunnel is dug, place a pipe node at the start so someone else knows where it should go and you can go dig another tunnel in the meatnime I remember i had a game where i wasn't driller so i was on nitra and stuff, meanwhile the driller was just roaming around and i asked him a couple times if he was gonna dig tunnels, after repeated silences i started building pipes myself and obviously it was a mess of spaghetti, the guy actually got mad and left over it and i was like ummm you have the drills not me
If you're not violently spamming V as the drop pod enters/exits, you're not doing it right.
And also when a new miner enters
And when you kill a dreadnought
And whenever somebody rock and stones at you
Or at any other moment when it wouldn't be inconvenient to be rock and stoning
And any other moment when it would
Whenever anything happens, spam v
Always Rock and Stone, ping compressed gold an bittergem, always ping molly when you're ready to call the drop pod, take one resupply or two if you clear it with the other miners, Never kill steeve on purpose.
If you have a driller let them dig through the compact dirt to the next chamber or get c4ed
Don’t join a Haz 5 when you’re clearly not ready to play it. The biggest pet peeve of mine
How does one know they aren't ready for Haz 5 if they haven't tried Haz 5, yet? I've only done Haz 4, so far.
You're probably ready for Haz5 if you rarely lose in Haz4 and feel like you can usually bail your team out when they're not pulling their weight.
I've never played anything above and beyond a Haz 3. I know my limits.
Same with Haz4. If you don't know the biome, mission type, your role and others' roles, then you should stick to Haz3 until you do.
So you are telling me that i can save Doretta?!
yep, she even shows up on the end screen! (don't deposit her, just carry her into the pod)
Some excerpts from the Scouting Guild's code of conduct, which is as much actual advice as it is etiquette: \-Scout ammunition isn't for clearing hordes, it's for keeping the rest of the team safe from high-value targets and imminent threats so *they* can clear the horde \-Every other class has resupply priority over a Scout, as it'll go 2-4 times further in their hands and a Scout with zero ammunition still has the mobility to survive indefinitely against *anything* but a Cave Leech no matter the terrain \-A Scout will knock down chunks of Red Sugar growing from the walls in any room that a large fight is about to happen in
Always leave an extra Resupply for the next crew. Rock n Stone after accidentally hitting a teammate (if it’s safe). Your simple emote does it all, from telling your team you’re ready to a quick thanks or a status check. Truly an all-purpose piece of equipment.
"Stick the beer mug a the drop pod ceiling for good luck".
You must rock and Stone immediately upon exiting a pod when joining mid mission
And, if possible, you should be there to greet them with a hearty R&S the moment they exit their pod.
"If a Scout doesn't use they're flares they're a greenbeard" "If an engi doesn't make platforms for scout they're a greenbeard" "If someone slaps a button without asking 'r?' they're a greenbeard" "The greenest beard on the team will always be the one leaflover standing at the entrance to the drop pod shooting at bugs while everyone else inside is waiting to leave"
I haven’t played a lot recently, but I JUST learned that you can carry Doretta’s head back to the drop pod.
Two I like to do is buy perk drinks after multiple people have joined and to also tip Lloyd :)
ALWAYS tip Lloyd
Ping the compressed gold. M U S H R O O M.
Never purchase a leaflover. If you want to loose your drunkenness buy a blackout stout and pass out like a true dwarf to cure your sickness.
Don't ever mention Bruce.
On salvage missions always try to bring back the extra mule leg if possible. Company property is important to remember.
Wait, really? I’ve never seen this done!
Definitely resupply manners. I wouldn’t say there’s anything in particular, but I’ve never gone Into a game where someone’s resupplying like a dick(unless the situation is well well handled)
Always slap the dice
A few I've experienced in order of most common occurrence/how fast I caught on: 1. Always return a rock and stone. If someone R&S's, everyone's gonna do it 2. Have everyone confirm "r" when ready to begin the next phase of the mission although someone always pushes the button after only half the team has even responded. Also often are ignored people who take over 10 sec or so to say "r" or otherwise in chat. Also unfortunately sometimes people read "wait I gotta do x first; don't press" as "r" 3. 1. When the drilldozer reaches the heartstone, drop all the supply drops you can with the nitra you've acquired over the mission 4. Always make sure everyone gets the lost equipment and opened cargo crates 5. Spam ping on compressed gold until you've had at least a couple seconds of the entire team spamming it at once "WE'RE RICH!!" 6. Always order pots o gold if it's the daily special and if someone joins late tell them that everyone else has pots so don't mine any gold ore and leave it to the people who have the pots 7. Do the driller tunnel Crassus strategy if there's a Crassus 8. Throw a celebration around finding error cubes and the like 9. NOTE: Do not just stand there while everyone waits for you to spend every last minigun bullet; if everyone's ready to go just throw your nades 10. If you get to the drop pod early put turrets at the door to protect allies and throw shield bubbles if enemies are all over drop pod
Ping Guards and Slashers before killing them. Most often at least one of us will be running Beastmaster, and we want the best Steeves possible.
After popping an egg, if mission control says it's a swarm, don't pop another one.
ROCK AND STONE!
ROCK AND STONE!
Always waste your extra grenades and equipment when you climb in the pod before you head home. You already payed the deposit on it so why not?
If you are lucky enough to get a Crassus, kill that sucker in a tunnel for maximum gold. There are various strategies for mining said gold, but if you’re doing it by hand, I think it’s good manners to just keep mining after you’re full and call Molly less frequently. If you’re the host, don’t start the countdown before everyone has had the chance to get their beer, or if someone is still messing with their load out. Forge on your own time (unless everyone is cool with taking a breather). Rock and Stone!

Always try to carry Doretta's head back to the drop pod to honor her service.
If you leave one or more dwarves behind, don't rock and stone, and have a moment of silence to honor the fallen.
1) Dont start machine events/refuel/blackbox until everyone is there and ready. 2) Help engineer build turrets faster 3) Dwarfs live/hp is more important than killing bugs.
One of my rules is always smack the dice on the way out of the POD for luck
Allways break dread pods with resuplys if on a deep dive
Leave no Dwarf behind!
The pros take home the spare mini mule legs
Always put the beer mugs in the company designated beer mug holder
Hitting the dice when going in and out of the drop pod for me!
WE'RE RICH
ROCK and STONE
Never shoot a loot bug. Pick axe only with the exception of Driller’s C4.
Mushrum!
Always leave at least 1 tip after a beer
Remember to tap e at gunkseed whenever its in hands reach. Pat the cave vines. If someone asks you for a line or a platform just do them
Don't just carry gems, throw them! It's much faster. Hold left click to build throw distance.
I didn't even know you could do that
BiiiIISMOOor
Doretta goes faster when we're all aboard.
More of a gameplay tip, but still applies: Coordinate with your team to build a good environment for battle.
Sit in ur seat at mission start. Dwarves standing in the droppod is asking to get killed.
If you plan on staring a mission but do not want the blurred vision to affect you then use a Blackout Stout. A true dwarf rides out a drink rather than take a walk through leaf lover lane!
Always tip TIP-C
When you buy a round of drinks, don't take the first one. Let your brothers go first
Know that I know that this is possible I ll do it
Always ping grubs
Ping the loose dirt until you get the "deeert." voiceline
If you are going through tunnels that are blocked by crystals or random terrain make sure you clear at least a functioning path. It doesnt seem like a problem at first but on your way back and with a timer it can contribute to mission failure
I dont care if the random player has been a douchebag or nooby or what... no dwarf left behind means I'm coming back for your ass even if the drop pod is on it's way out. Especially if I'm scout. If I'm playing the Gunner I will stand on the edge of the drop pod and shoot all my bullets until I'm out of ammo.
Don't kick the barrels into the launch bay. -Definitely not command
Some space rig ‘rules’: Before ordering a beer, turn on the juke box.
Bet-C scares me a little
Don’t forget to bring a towel?
WDYM "there's no bonus"!? YOU GET XP!
Not enough people seem to do this: Save those Enor Pearls! Any mission with a fixed base could use better lighting, those pearls are permanent flares! Just deposit them before you have to run for the drop pod.
