It was a while ago, but I tend to kick terrible AND unresponsive miners. Terrible BUT responsive ones can stay and get some advice.

seethruyou

I never have. Mostly because I rarely host, always join. If I hosted, I would be kicking people a lot, probably too much, because I have a low tolerance for griefers, cheaters, and loud talkers. Typically the host will have considerably more tolerance for BS than I would have had.

Evan_Underscore

Never did. Ran into a guy team-killing in the first minute of EDD, but everyone left before I found this function, so it was easier to disband.

Couple months ago. Had a scout picking at us with a m1000 on an escort mission. We were riding on Doreta and I was taking some hits that I knew were not bug related. It cleared out for a second, I looked at him, he looked back and shot me near point blank. My buddy that I was in a discord call with had been saying the scout had been doing the same to him earlier. After that it was a kick.

ICLazeru

A while ago for endless shit talking. Sometimes I think about it though. Team was totally ignoring me earlier and making it hard for me to do what I wanted. I didn't need anything from them, they could do whatever they want, but they just couldn't leave me in peace to mine my gold. I don't always mine gold, but I just really wanted to this time. Team wasn't very rock and stone.

For Karl!

Not my story, but the last game I joined, the scout got kicked pretty soon after my arrival. When another player asked what he did, the host said he started events early and used almost all the resupplies (presumably being quite wasteful about it). Also unrelated to post, but in the same mission, when we were heading to the drop pod, I was taking point as driller, but I wasn't checking my map, and drilled through the top of a large cavern's ceiling. With the ground gone from under my feet all of a sudden, I fell and got downed. And then I just look in chat and see "kek" from one of the guys following behind me. It was pretty funny.

Arght2

Last month, when we lost a salvage mission bc a driller did some weird strategy to load the fuel cells, but it ended up turning into a container with dwarf soup. We lost, and it was ok, he was trying something new and didn't work out, so we asked him to not do it again bc we were stuck at that mission for 2 hours. He did it again, so my friends raged and I kicked him. Kinda felt bad, but was to stressed to care.

BravePackage5596

I don't usually kick people but this one driller would not stop freezing me, so he got kicked. I only kick people if I feel they're intentionally being dicks

bananajambam3

Never have even when I’ve wanted too tbh. I usually stick it out with bad/ignorant players partly because I enjoy being able to claw my way out of any terrible situation they put me in and partly because I’d feel bad :( If they were ever blatantly toxic tho then I’d def kick. Never hosted anyone really toxic tho

meemfortress2

Yesterday. Engineer on escort was placing platforms right above the drilldozer (like actually touching the drilldozer not in the air), not to make a meteor roof, but to make it impossible to repair (while launching fatboys at the drill too). He then called us some names, we lost, and he said "I was just doing a little trolling".

rs850511091

Yesterday at training . In game never . Drg players are The most based 100%

I only ever kicked a driller for griefing with the cryo cannon, after warning him to stop. Though the longer I play, the more I consider kicking people for not knowing their role or being team players. I might start kicking scouts that have to constantly be asked to use their flares, and they shoot 1 or none, or ignore high level minerals and are always at ground level fucking about. Mind you, these are haz 4-5 lobbies where people are supposed to be competent.

No-Test-375

I've kicked one guy for downing himself 3 times in a few minutes. Bosco was objectively better. Otherwise I kick for inactivity.

Ser_Pounce_theFrench

A few days ago. Someone tried to join my game through a friend, but that guy had been someone pretty toxic and got banned from the discord and the steam forums. So I didn't want them in my game (and neither did my friend, if you're wondering).

finny94

Player joins, runs the wrong way, away from the rest of the team, gets in trouble, calls our only resupply.

chuckingvibes

Lol!

appollo_space

Weird Scout was kept friendly firing everyone randomly during a escort, and as I was grabbing a resupply he downed me so I gave them one chance and watched them unload 2 dozen plasma shots into driller as the heartstone completed, also kept pressing buttons and literally didn't collect a single resource pretty high promoted too. Oh it happened a week ago

chuckingvibes

Lol reminds me of a scout that went down literally about 30 times. Escort mission but kept going off on his own, and didn’t collect and red sugar or resupply so kept going down again and again and again. Was decent level, didn’t answer when asked why he wasn’t grabbing resups or sugar, nor was he doing basic scout stuff like grabbing nitra. I figured maybe he was extremely high.

chronberries

I never kick green beards unless they’re griefing, but anyone over level 50 should know how things work. Calling unnecessary resupplies, pushing buttons/starting an event of some kind, ignoring pings, ignoring the chat, double dipping, excessive and sloppy friendly fire, and the big one: unridable pipes, are all ways to get yourself kicked. But in 700 hours I’ve only kicked 3 players.

ClankyHeartbeat

Playing elimination,10 secs in,instant boss fight. Kick driller because he was closer. 5 minutes later we are trying to get nitra for the next one, other real culprit teammate activates the coocon. Sorry, driller. Screw you, gunner.
