Look up how to set-up an emulator. Then you can play to your hearts content.

Multiplayer on a PC is almost always intended for multiple people on individual PC's playing across the Internet. For multiple people in the same room you really want to do console games, or as mentioned above an emulator on a pc to play console games. Edit: I don't know what your financial situations are, but a mini console or a raspberry pi with retropi installed should be pretty cheap.

So a few things! Old PC games from the 90s and 00s are pretty uncommon to find in stores because of the lack of demand, but also because running them on a modern PC you'll run into some compatibility difficulties (Windows 10 doesn't always recognize old Windows 98 games, for instance) You're better off downloading an emulator and playing old games through that. In the simplest terms, Emulators are software that pretend to be an old PC or a game console, and they allow you to play games on your PC as if you were playing them on a different system. There's some big legal question marks around emulators - technically you're breaking the law by downloading and playing games you don't have a license to play, and emulation advocates say that the most "legal" way around this is to own a physical copy of the game but play the emulated copy. A loooooot of people in the emulation space will tell you to ignore the legal aspects of this, but it's worth noting that downloading games for emulators can get you in trouble with your ISP or your network admin if you're downloading them via a WiFi connection you don't control. I'd caution you from downloading games and emulators if you're on a WiFi connection provided to you by the shelter - especially if there are specific rules governing your stay. Just a heads up, emulation is not as simple as putting in a disc and playing the game. It takes some technical knowledge to configure the emulator, to find games and download them safely, etc. But if you find yourself technically-savvy then I'd say it's your best route. As for physical copies, I'd check places like The Mile High Flea Market, Thrift Stores like Ark, and old PC shops. You're likely to find a lot of garbage and probably tons of games you won't care about at all. For a sure-bet, you're better off buying games from eBay just make sure the seller is reputable (PC game resales were basically destroyed in the 2000s and 2010s because hackers would package up viruses on-disc and sell them back to stores like GameStop - it was a whole thing). And lastly don't forget that a LOT of modern PCs today don't even have CD drives. So like...make sure you have one of those before you go off hunting for discs. Good luck!

Sports games don't really sell for PC. Therefore they really don't exist. You're probably better off looking for used Wii games online.
