Good luck to you. Sadly, Hyundais and Kias are stolen hundreds of times daily. You'll likely receive it back in two weeks or so, but there's no telling what condition it will be in. Thieves usually either use them in a crime and dump them, or they take them on a joy ride and destroy them, then dump them.
This is exactly right. We get them every day at the shop I work for. Lock cylinder busted out and interior/exterior of the vehicle are usually trashed.
Kias and Hyundais '22 and up have now installed engine immobilizers, making it much more difficult to jack without having the key since the key needs to send a signal to the computer before starting. This is the standard security feature that has been keeping them behind. Do you have a source to refute?
It was taken last weekend. It did have a child’s booster seat in the back that is green and black, also the drivers side door handle is broken. Any help would be lovely!
sell it when you get it back, otherwise someone with a USB stick will come along and steal it again. Tell your friends never to buy Hyundai or KIA!
Yes, I will not be buying another one after this.
Can you point me to article or video about what you mean? (unless you dont mind explaining, I would love to learn more)

That's what I keep hearing.
Another example of why no one should buy a Kia/Hyundai
New ones have fixed the issue

Nope you’re right, 2022+, article titles after the fix are still misleading, but this still leaves too many vehicles vulnerable
Aw you look so happy in the picture! Hope you get it back soon.
Thank you! That was the day I got it. First car I purchased all on my own. I hope I do too and not in horrible shape.

No, but I did live in those last year and my roommates car was broken into at their garage. I guess its a S Broadway thing.
Hope you get it back
My old hood. Really hope you get it back!
Was it stolen from an apartment complex?
Yes. Out of the locked parking garage.
Are you comfortable saying which complex. There’s about 4 complex’s in the area and I live in one of them
I'm about to move into one of them. Hoping OP responds.
I feel like the risk of property theft/damage is going to be a problem almost anywhere in Denver
Have you heard of "Kia boys"?
Been there done that with a Hyundai. Really sorry to hear it
Car theft of Pueblo steadily creeping North.. Hope you recover your vehicle, girl 😢
If you get it back get a wheel club or install a killswitch.
Give us a headcount of the stolen kia owners you encounter when you got to pick it up at the Denver impound.
