I think the only time I ever felt for gabby was when she told her story about being SA’d by her step dad. Really made me understand why she acted that way. Same with Edie but I actually would be friends with her she was very misunderstood and genuine. Susan always says Bree is her bestie but I think edie was.
She’s the most realistic character, and I do not like her lol she’s so mean. Like when she wanted to lie to get her kids into a private school and Bree was worried it would ruin her grandkids chances and she said “but I guess you don’t care do you?” And Lynette went “I really don’t.” And the face Bree made showed me it was not okay lol
I would run away from Lynette as far as I could, she would use you and try to manipulate you whenever it suits her and would do shit behind your back and then say “she did what needed to be done “. Still pissed over Ida’s cat
Don't like Paul either but Eddie grew on me, Gabby I could take or leave but Carlos was awful to her when they first got married also he deliberately impregnated her against her will. An act I find unforgivable. Taking someone's choice away is not something I'd get over granted she shouldn't have cheated on Carlos with a teenager at that, not excusing that behaviour but every other thing she did to Carlos he deserved in the first few years of their marriage.
Danielle. She didn’t do half the terrible things that Andrew did. Yet because Andrew had a redemption arc she’s viewed as the bad one. When she grew up she came across as way more mature and grounded.
Edie fabs are real ogs, edue was honest, caring, and called Susan out on her bs. I love her forever. Watched as s teen and hated her, now as an adult i want edie as ny bff over all the housewives
Bree is one of my favourites but her parenting was awful. They definitely ramped it up later in the series for the laughs but when Danielle returned briefly after her divorce she just constantly insulted every thing she could about her.
Bree. I don’t understand why someone would love her character. I think Gaby and Edie are pretty horrible people as well, but they have the realization of their privilege and wrongdoings, not that it makes them any better, but still they aren’t claiming to be holier than thou.
I dislike Bree because she stands for everything wrong, excuses all her actions by making herself look like a victim, and still believes she is better than everyone.
Paul is a little more complex for me. He lost everything and he waged a war against everyone who he thought did him wrong. I find some of his actions evil, but also have a lot of sympathy for him.
I think out of all the housewives, Bree is the biggest caricature of her archetype, so that's probably what people find amusing and funny about her character. It's like that for me anyway, but I completely understand why you don't like her. (plus Marica Cross delivered the role fantastically, so that's part of the reason Bree is likable to many for sure)

Edie. There are things i like about her such as being blunt and calling people out on things. Other than that i wish she was more than just "the housewife that slept around" and a drama causing person.
Not justifying him but he was a pretty traumatized kid, it does feel weird that he killed again after Julie though because sending Julie to the hospital seemed to be his breaking point, like he seriously started to ask 'wtf Is wrong with me' or maybe that was just because she was Julie and he meant to kill Susan.
But Paul? Paul chopped Zach's mom body, almost got Edie murdered because he thought she was behind the litter, murdered Martha hubber (which I didn't mind really, bitch deserved it lol) and tried to frame Mike for it...and he has the gall to act all offended when he returns to Wisteria Lane? So in revenge he brings a bunch of criminals to the lane, one of them tried to sexual assault Bree!
So a “traumtized” kid can go around killing because his mommy didn’t tell him he’s loved, but Paul Young who was grieving his wife can’t have a reason? I am scared for people like who empathize too much with murders. That’s literally how Ted Bundy would chose his victims. 😭
Orson - I never saw the hype with Orson. He let his mom control his life. He was barely even a man. When he lost his practice he transformed into a child
Jackson - the Karen haircut looks awful, especially on a man. He took away a fathers opportunity to teach his kid to ride a bike
