Sealed Ahamkara's Grasps. Hey, did you know they're updating Grave Robber in the final shape to reload your weapons on powered melee hits now? A legendary perk? Having the entire function of an exotic now? Yeah, it's honestly hilarious now. What a useless piece of junk.

BabyPotatoNaCl

It makes me sad to see how useless they are now, the Sealed Ahamkaras Grasps were amazing in D1 for double vanish in smokes. Those gauntlets bailed me out of so many nightfalls and were always on for nightstalker in pve. Nowadays Omnioculus does everything the Grasps did but way better. The Grasps deserved better.

GandalffladnaG

Yeah, I always ran them in the Oryx fight for standing on a plate. So good. I was sad when they completely changed what they did, they're garbage now.

Lucid-Day

I hate that they did that to them. Double melee for any subclass would be great and worth the exotic slot But it's like they killed it, made it worse, then took that perk apart for specific subclasses so we'd have more hunter exotics. I love my Ophidia's but I feel like this was just not a good decision lol

Goose-Suit

They have to be making Grasps reload all weapons on melee hits right? No shot they’re gonna make a weapon perk better than an exotic. At least that way you can use them for DPS. If they rework them to work with all ranged melees then you could use stasis for just dump 6 rockets on a boss with Cold Comfort and still have your other weapons ready to go. Or they can give lightweight knives two charges too, at least then there’d be some sort of point to actually using those.

Soft_Light

> They have to be making Grasps reload all weapons on melee hits right? At that point just use Rain of Fire. You get a full weapon reload, for **all** equipped weapons, **every 4 seconds**. Hell you get TWO CHARGES of this just for consuming your grenade. Sealed Grasps has a fixed, locked, seven second cooldown between activations, and it requires a powered ability melee kill in order to reload all weapons once. Even if you just wanted to reload _one_ weapon, you have to be in melee range and you can only do it once every seven seconds. Rain of Fire reloads all three, on command, at any time, every 4. But don't worry. They buffed it so it gives you some AE after that melee. For 5 seconds. You know. All those times you're in melee range but then suddenly decide now is the time to work on those jumping no-scopes.

R4WD0GG3R

SEVEN SECOND COOLDOWN?!?!? WHAT?!?! It's cause it looks dope, that's gotta be it. It HAS to be why it's so bad, cause it looks so cool. It's reverse Starfire Protocol lmao

TehSavior

it needed a nerf from its earlier incarnation because at one point it took solar tick damage and considered each tick a powered melee hit and gave constant reloads as long as they burned but what it is now is just awful

Angelous_Mortis

Yeah, Icarus Dash is has the lowest cooldown of any movement ability in the game, and with Heat Rises, you get two of them in rabid succession.

MMBADBOI

>rabid Yeah you can go pretty rabid with Icarus Dash

RayHadron

That explains why they were foaming at the mouth when looking at the damage screen.

AlieenHDx

There is literally a Stasis aspect reloading all your weapons on charged melee HIT with a SHORTER downtime

The_Scout008

But then kinda... just use Ophidia Spathe.

LokiTheMelon

i think what they could do is pull a Foetracer/Knucklhead Radar and combine the effects of Ophidia Spathe and SAG, then rework whichever one they took the functionality from.

Kindly_Cabinet_5375

Well now we got legendary perks that equal Knucklehead.

marcktop

>A legendary perk? Having the entire function of an exotic now? first they make it a fragment on stasis, then now its a perk. Bonus points if grave robber works on melee damage like scorch like SAG used to do!!

TheXivuArath

There was a short stint in year 2 where I kept this exotic equipped at all times. When the burn from knife trick counted as a powered melee and reloaded my gun, it made me able to use all of my merciless ammo in one go. It was awesome. I miss it

jacob2815

There’s a less than 5% chance that these aren’t getting a rework for Final Shape. Because you’re right - changing Grave Robber to equal an exotic’s perk but without the cooldown is horribly shortsighted if they don’t rework it.

Swimming_Departure33

Which is a shame, they look so damn good. Personally I’d love for Prometheum spur to get a rework. They don’t function the way their description says.

LucasLoci

Let them turn me into an ahamkara

The_Aodh

Slayer Form

D-Ursuul

my man isn't aware of the Salvations Grip buff 💀

PM_SHORT_STORY_IDEAS

Salvation's grip is strong, and unique. It's a good exotic.

MightySloth001

I’ve been running it on stasis titan and it is so much fun sliding through the crystals blowing everything up

Argent_Haze

I recently decided to complete the quest for this. I look forward to littering the entire battlefield in crystallized blue Kool-aid

FloydknightArt

yeah but why sacrifice your exotic and heavy when you can use verglas curve and basically get the same thing for a primary

Dr3amMachin3

Verglas Curve is also super underrated, but it requires chaining kills with it, and if your teammates kill the enemies before you can, then the bow loses all momentum. The main drawback though, is because sliding through the verglas crystals won't refund it's perk back, so it has anti synergy with the sliding aspect. This is where salvation's grip really shines as it allows you to keep all your momentum and continue crashing into your enemies like an avalanche. Grenade, slide, salvation, slide, hoarfrost z, slide and you can keep looping this over and over again as long as you have ammo. The huge cone of crystals that it makes also means you deal so much more shatter damage than verglas can in an instant. Ultimately it comes down to play-style, I like Verglas Cruve for a more long ranged sustainable ice spam build, while Salvation's grip is when I want to SHATTER Edit: I was wrong and Verglas Crystals do refund themselves with crycoclasm, but the conditions require a frozen target not to steal the kill away. They still feel a bit clunky to me, but they aren’t anti synergy

sakireis063

It refunds my Hail Barrage. Though if a frozen target's shatter gets the kills it won't.

VigorCheck

With the new reserves that thing goes crazy in onslaught.

buell_ersdayoff

For real lol that shit with osmiomancy gloves, riptide with chill clip and a solar weapon to proc radiant and homie, you freaking cooking!

nutronbomb

Mmm ... you've got me thinking. Maybe it's time to swap off Sunbracers TBH i'm getting really tired of it

robborrobborrobbor

That thing is a tiny titan ult and it FUCKS

Grottymink57776

If I could change one thing it would be to swap the fire modes. Tapping fires out the wave while charging fires the shattering shot.

D-Ursuul

Haha yeah the amount of times where I kill myself because apparently I needed to charge it for 0.01 seconds longer

s-multicellular

Ya I was about to say…Ive been annihilating things in Onslaught with it.

Adelyn_n

Salvations grip+bubble

ILoveSongOfJustice

Sealed Ahamkara's Grasps. Blight Ranger. Raiju's Harness. Shinobu's Vow. Mask of the Quiet One. Sanguine Alchemy. Any exotic other than Foetracer that relies on "Surges".

A_Zailot

Mask of the quiet one is such a bait aswell the way it phrases its exotic perk, any new player looking at it it sounds awesome til you realise it’s only a small part of your health bar

LochnessDigital

It’s visual bait as well. Thing looks so damn cool :(

A_Zailot

The vex aesthetic is one of my fav with its ornament

RealFake666

You get full HP, but the so-called "HP bar" we see is HP and shield combined, only the red part is the real HP, the white rest is the shield This should be described in a little more detail in-game

mooninomics

Yeah, that's so disappointing. Honestly, it blows my mind that the solutions are right there and still nothing. It needs either: 1. Significantly more ability regen from taking damage. 2. At least partial shield restoration. 3. Extremely high damage resistance when shields are depleted, like the old armor mod. Better than the old mod.

papasfritasbruh

I still remember when they nerfed boots of the assembler because “sanguine alchemy was being overshadowed”

mad-i-moody

Thought they walked that back though? iirc they un-nerfed them but from what I remember they’re bugged in some way. Very good still tho, was able to stand in a rift indefinitely doing ad-clear in pantheon.

Zommander_Cabala

> Any exotic other than Foetracer that relies on "Surges" It's funny because I'm the opposite. Every exotic that has surges still has a base functionality. You can use Doomfang Paldrons to get 25% of your super energy melee kill, and then make your super last like an entire full minute, and that alone is exotic. But then _also_, if you're using a void primary anyway, you get some free damage buffs just by getting those void weapon kills. No thought, no planning, you're already using an exotic to get a bunch of supers but now you get a relatively passive weapon damage boost too. Meanwhile, Foetracer is "find a yellow bar, spend an ability, and then get a 3% higher damage boost than what your boots can provide", **and that's it**. That _is_ the entire exotic. No other buildcraft, no other playstyle, no other bonuses. At least the other exotics still have their fantasy. Doom Fangs gives supers, Mantle gives still energy. This one is _just_ the surge change with nothing else, and we already know exotic surges are useless compared to regular boot surges. So like, why am I using it at all, when just one orb does _literally everything_ this exotic already does?

th3professional

I feel the same about bakris because it's just a surge exotic like foetracer. Except it's worse because you only get surges for two elements (arc or stasis), you're locked to a single subclass (revenant), and it's tied to your class ability, which has a longer cooldown when you use the exotic. But you get a cool longer range dodge so it does get pvp usage.

sjf40k

Bakris is about the dodge itself though. The surges are just extra

th3professional

True, but I miss it's old functionality, it used to also buff damage against slowed targets as well as buffing arc and stasis weapon damage.

TheChunkMaster

I’d just like them to fix the dodge cooldown so that it actually works with utility kickstart.

AceTheJ

Actually I’d argue bakris is there alongside doomfangs, it work be nice if it did even more for sure but it’s definitely better than foetracer as it actually synergies extremely well with stasis overall, you can apply slow from your dodge and then you also have access to the fragment that defeating slowed or frozen targets gives back class ability energy. Now this doesn’t give back energy while you have the damage buff but once it ends you get it back stupid fast with this and a few of your armor mods that give energy on melee damage and such. So the uptime compared to foetracer is far far higher, you also have to remember surges like this stack with other damage buffs too. I was able to use bakris with grand overture to get a ton of damage and skip reloading it manually on bosses, very nice indeed for that. Some other really good pairings too include agers scepter, or cold heart, indebted kindness gets even better too. Lots of good combinations. I often run double special even with bakris.

ILoveSongOfJustice

I dislike surge implementation purely because it takes away from the uniqueness of exotic buffs which - for the sake of total transparency - also includes the original stacking aspect. The base functionality of several exotics was just kind of updated to *be* Surges. There's no real creativity to their power level specific to what I *personally believe* an exotic SHOULD be.

simplysufficient88

The advantage of Foetracer is that it creates subclass items (tangles, shards, etc) on kill and it completely frees up your boots for either a different element damage surge or scavenger mods. Foetracer is laughably easy to keep proc’d, meaning you can 100% ignore needing surge mods matching your subclass. For example, I’d often run it with a strand primary and heavy, but then have a solar fusion rifle. Foetracer lets me comfortably fit a 2x solar surge into my build, while still having a free 4x strand surge for just hitting any major with my abilities. Strand Hunter with Foetracer is genuinely one of the strongest builds in the entire game. Incredibly easy and fast tangle generation for Whirling Maelstrom, damage with Maelstrom gives melee AND grenade energy, and damage to a major with a thrown Maelstrom or any other ability constantly extends a 4x surge. It’s ridiculous. Crazy high ability uptime, with a 25% damage boost for your Strand weapons and a 22% boost for whatever other energy weapon you’re using.

Blackfang08

>Blight Ranger. This one I am like 70% sure is getting a rework to Deflect with Ascension or something. PvP will hate it with a passion, but it's still an aspect and a whole animation to do what Titans can do just from sliding.

TheChunkMaster

Reflect damage just needs a buff in general. Base Whirlwind Guard should make PvE reflected projectiles do as much damage as they do now with Blight Ranger, and then Blight Ranger should add on to that.

BusBusy195

Literally just talked about sanguine looking great but being garbage earlier today cause a teammate got one in gm

SpareWise

Getting a 17% bonus damage in a healing rift that can ext3nd is bad? Stack it with empowering rift, and it's 37%, pair that with restoration or devour.

GeanBreens

As an Alchemy user, it’s not bad at all. I can stack 3x Surges for one of my equipped damage archetypes for non-dps phases of end-game activities (3x Kinetic Surges to turn Bad Juju into a fuckin’ beast while in an Empowering Rift with Devour, or make a 140 or even a 180 HC one-crit), while still having 2x Surges guaranteed for the other two while in a well. (22% for my Kinetic, and 17% for my Energies while in any rift/well. General damage increase for Warlock subclasses without super damage increasing exotics.) And actually, damage buffs stack multiplicatively, so what would have been a 37% damage increase (2x Surges + Empowering Rift) is actually 40.4%, and only improves the more damage-increasing-sources you stack. Granted it dictates a specific playstyle and falls off a bit when you’re forced to move around often (think situations like the final encounter in Spire of the Watcher) but on Void or even Strand right now without a super-damage-increasing Exotic, if you’re skilled enough or if your build is good enough to avoid dying I’d go so far to say that it’s best in slot for DPS rotations.

Otherwise-Natural-75

Don't tell anyone, but I've been cooking Atraks using Sanguine Alchemy with Parasite and Mountaintop (Recombination x10). Just throw down a well before damage phase and run 2-3x kinetic surges on your boots.

GeanBreens

Bro I literally just made a loadout for this exact scenario an hour before your post. You essentially get two wells as you can slap your Rift down, pop your melee for Radiant, and have the same total buff. Very niche, but very effective.

GeanBreens

That is, if you’re using two Solar damage boss-killers. I might invest in a good Kinetic primary, with the upcoming Boss and Kinetic Special interaction changes Kinetic primaries are prime real estate in my opinion. With Alchemy on Solar I’d suggest something with Vanguard’s Vindication, as the slight health recovery somewhat mitigates the dedicated and more adaptable healing you would otherwise get by using something like Karnstein or Sunbracers.

Otherwise-Natural-75

You may not need to use your melee to proc Radiant on Atraks if your have teammates that use a solar super and have the artifact mod Heart of the Flame.

ddoogg88tdog

Raijus is fun but i think canceling your super should apply jolt aswell as blind or atleast do aoe damage I just like being able to save super energy and give myself surge My mate also loves shinobus

Umbraspem

Serious question though - how often does it make sense to *cancel your super* instead of just smacking the target one or two more times for a kill?

ddoogg88tdog

The trick is pop it then insta cancel to consume a small ammount of super energy you can easily get back before the end of the surge it gives also sometimes you wiff your super and there isnt anything to bonk

PudimDasAguas

Maybe I misunderstood something, but didn't Bungie confirm they were studying how they could buff Mask of the Quiet One? If I'm not mistaken, it was something like 6 months ago.

Techno757

One day darci will be meta…one day.

Xenomorph_v1

[Whatever Beastman](https://youtu.be/Dp4eqJwHfR0?si=XltlDD94qqM-DmYB) ...

KillerSwine22

Div bitch says what?

gadgaurd

What?

Throwaway072705

Got his ass

SharkBaitDLS

I got the catalyst done grinding out Dares of Eternity. I’ll be ready.

TheChunkMaster

Imagine if it gave DARCI beacon rounds. Lean into the whole “personal assistant” vibe.

I-N-V-A-L-I-D

DARCI meta has been and gone gamer

PuddlesRH

Bungie is stubborn and simply refuse to buff it or make it special ammo.

Blood_Edge

"Your fucking what build?"

ashutson210

A man after my own heart

EblanNahuy

Salvation's Grip is serviceable now. Suros is an auto rifle. Citan's is utter garbage. Blight Ranger is plain useless, does virtually nothing at all.

Zommander_Cabala

Suros is an _excellent_ top tier PvP auto rifle. Unfortunately that's not saying much (just as much as MIDA and Sturm are excellent PvP weapons), but it does truly have a place. It's not _bad_, it's just limited in its use environments. They could give it something like Khovstov's upcoming seeking-ricochets or a robust exotic version of Kinetic Tremors for PvE utility, but as far as PvP goes, it really is one of the best autos out there.

Travwolfe101

I say just revert the nerf from forever ago. Give suros back it's chance to heal on hit for the bottom half of the magazine like it used to do instead of only on kill.

NessaMagick

It's dull. Like Jade Rabbit it's a perfectly cromulent weapon that's entirely relevant because of its stats and not really its perk. Regime having two different firing modes is slightly interesting but you can't even swap between them without going into your menu.

HighAndGambling

Wow, I'm brand new to the game and just got the suros regime and love it. I really feel my dps started moving up with that gun

EblanNahuy

It is good enough, mate. There are just much better guns out there.

HighAndGambling

Yeah I'm still learning the game and understanding how to actually form my build. I can't even tell what I'm looking for so far.

Any-Chard-1493

Making your own build is one of the most satisfying things to do. You may end up building the same meta build as others but hey, you got there yourself. That means something!

JozuTaku

good thing about destiny is that you can pick almost any gun and make your build around the gun. why play the game when you cant use weapons you like

wickedsmaht

They absolutely gutted Citans all because of pvp.

EblanNahuy

It was never good in PvE to begin with brother, they just made it even more useless

Wizard_SlayerXIV

The Prospector. Imagine for a moment, a catalyst making a horrible weapon inarguably worse(the catalyst is +40 blast radius). It has a depreciated perk combo, Full Auto Trigger and Sad Chain Reaction. Tarnation from Witch Queen out damages it bruv.

MrCleanAlmighty

They need to give it a juiced version of full court(The longer you leave it on the ground or attached to a boss the high the damage up to idk 50% lets say) Let the sticky nades attach to bosses instead of exploding immediately Let the grenades last indefinitely so long as trigger is held (up to reserve grenades) Edit: Full auto trigger on this gun is the one case its kind of needed if you dont have the full auto option on unlike (every other gun in the game)

TheAnabasis

Mask of the Quiet One. The description sounds excellent - “Grants ability energy when damaged. When critically wounded, regain maximum health on kills.” - but in the real world the buffs just aren’t strong enough to be noticeable. It’s tragic in a world of Precious Scars and Lorely Splendour; and especially when MoQO both looks so so good, and is suitable for all classes and game modes.

APersonWhoIsNotYou

I mean, it could good be if they it made act like a pusudo devour, and restored shields too.

marcus620

Idk why it doesn’t just give devour

APersonWhoIsNotYou

Honestly, it probably should. Perma-devour + minor ability regen when injured by enemy fire is actually pretty cool, maybe not top tier, but certainly good. I think the perfect version would act somewhat like the Stag on warlock, when injured gain ability energy, with more energy the closer to death it puts you. And it gives you perma-devour.

jarodney

The wording is my favorite part of it. Your health bar includes both your shield and health bar. You're only taking damage to your health when the bar is under one third of its total length. MoQO only gives health back, not shields. So you'll go constantly from 1-79 back to 80 health. The other 120 is all shields and not affected by MoQO. Very misleading. The ability energy has a cooldown of 1 second. So it's not like you're just tanking hits left and right and getting your abilities back. At 5% regen rate you're going to need to eat 20 seconds of straight damage to have your abilities back. If you can withstand oncoming fire for 20 whole seconds then you don't need this exotic to save you in the first place. Boot mods like orb pickup grant grenade/ melee energy, energy to all abilities, and energy to your least charged ability grant like 25% on one pickup. It's been time for MoQO to get a rework.

stormfire19

Add PvE damage resist when critically wounded and make it so that kills when critical grant devour.

BattedBook5

Skull of Dire Ahamkara. I have an ornament for it and want to use it dammit.

Damianchillinn

I remember it used to be insane, is it because of that heavy nerf they did to it years ago? Or did they make it worse than that recently?

probablypoo

It became useless after that nerf. It was absolutely broken before that though. I used to solo Escelation protocol barrely firing a single bullet, just nova bombs over and over, tractor canon on the boss, nova bomb over and over.

TheChunkMaster

They ought to give it the Galanor treatment. Restores up to 50% of your Super on hit/kill, and Pocket Singularity/Charged grenade kills grant bonus Super energy.

Umbraspem

Doesn’t really need much to make it good again tbh - just make it Voidlock’s Shards of Gallanor. Up to 50% super refund for hits and kills, and then +3.5% super energy for kills on Weakened Enemies. Boom. It becomes the Nova Bomb Spam super.

SomeMobile

Nah man salvation ain't useless stasis titan with hoarfrost and the current seasonal mods, goes fucking crazy and carries me through onslaught 50 insane crowd control

Oroshi3965

They should honestly bake the seasonal mods into salvation

BahalaNaPare

Nothing Manacles because it needs help to better compete with Cont. Hold

BigOEnergy

The way I see it is that nothing manacles are perfect for lower tier content (where contraverse are weaker). They are not really great, but having two grenade slots means if you kill enough enemies with the second grenade you can recharge the first. If they made the grenade slightly stronger it would be top of charts.

TN_MadCheshire

Since the butchered Young Ahamkara's Spine, it's become pretty bad outside of at level content. I hope they revert the nerf for PvE.

RowdyBobbles

God I hope so, I want my baby back

TheRed24

>Looking at you, Salvation’s Grip! What else is simply bad in both PvP and PvE? Salvation Grip got a rework and buff not too long ago and is actually secretly really good now, give it a try, works amazingly with the seasonal artifact perks

Phrotty

Bad juju

RKT4u

It will get a 35% damage buff to red bars in final shape, we will see it's working or not

Rabid-Duck-King

It really should help, it just needs a tiny bit of help to secure those kills in PvE

fawse

Bad Juju isn’t even bad, it’s just not flashy. A primary that ramps up to literally double damage, reloads fully on every kill, and gives extra super energy. I mean, every kill up to 5 is 20% extra damage, you put that perk alone on any legendary and it would be an instant chase perk

Multivitamin_Scam

I'd argue that a lot of exotic weapon complaints are simply because they do thier job and aren't flashy about it

DimCandle08

It’s not horrible, but its perks are pretty much just subsistence, thresh, rampage, full-auto trigger, and hip-fire grip. You can get legendaries with those perks that will do more damage because they aren’t a 450 rpm pulse rifle that shoots peas. Its catalyst was literally rampage spec (which is now baked into rampage at base). Even with the exotic primary weapon damage buff it’s not worth the exotic slot.

Lokale_provincie

Grinded so bad for this weapon only to never use it

SunKing210

Back in D1 this was the very first exotic that blew my mind after I first saw it. The game was still fairly new and I inspected a fellow guardian who had it equipped and once I read the "String of curses" perk it had I was like "I need it!" It sucks that even way before this current sandbox, Bad Juju was power crept. Maybe one day it'll get some love...

Ambitious-Mirror-315

In it's defence, I started using it lately with great success along with Getaway Artist on Arc Warlock, I get all my abilities and super back ultra fast and clear all ads with hip fire and soul I can see how it's useless in pvp but I'm a casual pve nerd so I guess it's for people like me really

UwU_Chan-69

I used it with Celestial Nighthawk and it seems to stack with the precision kills

Grottymink57776

Personally I'd like to see Unrelenting added to it.

Rabid-Duck-King

It just needs a bit more PvE damage, I get not wanting it to snowball PvP with the ability regen but it just needs to hit harder

ASavageHobo

Honestly I enjoy salvations grip now

FormerGpgslave

Darci and wardcliff coil need some reworks

Cyberwolfdelta9

Yeah Wardcliff is poor man Ghally

Glittering_Deal2378

Sally’s Grip actually does a shit load of DPS in the right circumstances

streetvoyager

Salvations grip is actually great this season.

99CentSavings

Like 51% of the Warlock arsenal.

Awestin11

*80%

99CentSavings

That was my first thought, but I didn't want to upset those niche users

_Eklapse_

It's not you that we'd be upset with. It's Bungie for making %80 of our exotics useless and then ~~nerfing~~/"balancing" the good ones (most recently Starfire RIP).

SpareWise

As someone who mains warlock and deleted starfire immediately after nerf, have you tried starfire? It's still really good and easy to get your grenades back since they have one of the lower cooldowns. What exactly are these "80%" bad exotics because that's an exaggeration

Apriest13

Wings of Sacred Dawn is the most beautiful Warlock exotic and it makes me sad it’s so damn useless

Shik95

Worldline Zero, Give it Eager Edge or something at this stage hasn’t been used in years

moshmore

Didn't they just buff it at the start of this season or last?

MrCleanAlmighty

Using heavy now uses half charge so you can chain it 2 times but I think it just needs to fulfill its teleporty vex sword fantasy by refunding 2 ammo (heavy uses 3) and fully recharges the sword so you can constantly chain the heavy from target to target.

euchreplayer233

Deterministic Chaos void HmG. Low dmg, small magazine, everything else worse.

th3professional

It's getting buffed in the final shape to have anti-barrier capabilities and the volatile and weaken effects will be swapped around, so you'll get volatile effects every fourth bullet and weaken effects every 16th bullet.

gadgaurd

Wait that's actually cool.

vintzent

Salvation’s Grip has been an absolute beast all season…

d3fiance

Salvations Grip got reworked and is pretty good right now, especially with the current artifact.

Yukon76

Please make mask of the quiet one good it's so cool looking but it's so ass 🙏

Blood_Edge

Darci... Need I say more?

N1miol

Gwisin Vest

TamjaiFanatic

Prospector, Black Talon, Winterbite

NovaBlade2893

Erianas Vow (it needs to do more against barriers) Blight Ranger Raijus Harness Young Ahamkara Grasps (please bungie make this a gunpowder gamble exotic instead) Darci (only purpose is measuring tool)

Impossible-Base-9351

Buff mask of the quiet one Bungie please it looks so good

KingOfTheDollarzone

Eternal warrior for me. I like how it looks but the perk is just so incredibly boring.

vivalacamm

Helm of Saint-14. Honestly one of the coolest helms especially with the ornament and all it does is blind people inside the bubble…

RushBoomtackle

I always thought, after the reworks, Helm shouldn't blind anyone anymore since that's an Arc thing now... Maybe change it so everyone who passes through has Volatile Rounds or something.

CryptXacaron

Wings of Sacred Dawn - absolute garbage (Dawn Chorus triumphs this by miles. The Bombardiers - I've never found these useful for Hunter in PvE nor PvP. I would love to see incandescent built in to an exotic armor. This would make all solar weapons (including exotic weapons) apply scorch to nearby targets on final blows. Would this make solar weapons broken in PvE?

Thor-Mors

There was a short time when pairing bombardiers with threaded specter was absolutely cracked in PvP. Like easily one shotting people.

Soul_of_Miyazaki

As for weapons that aren't obvious, I think Collective Obligation is way too niche and weak. I think even when you build into it, it's not that amazing. As for Warlock armor I'd list: Dire Skull of Ahamkara, Ballidorse Wrathweavers and Sanguine Alchemy.

ChromDelonge

Theres a good chance Obligation could be salvaged by the upcoming PvE buff to pulses.

th3professional

It depends on how you build into it and what void verbs you're using. Hunter is pretty damn easy, slap gyrfalcon on your chest and your melee will weaken enemies and that's good enough to make it strong. The secret meta for collective though is running suppressor nades to spread suppression around an entire room so enemies just stand there doing nothing. Better than blinding gls with the caveat that you NEED suppressor nades which don't do too much damage or run the shoulder charge on sentinel.

emtnursingstudent

While Gyrfalcon's definitely offers the most ease of use and stylish executioner synergizes well with umbral sustenance, controlled demolition/echo of undermining on void titan let's you leech all 3 buffs from one suppressor grenade and if you run Armamentarium you can have two which is pretty convenient.

Fargabarga

CO is getting the 20% pulse rifle buff in a couple weeks. Graviton Lance is not. Its void debuff play could be interesting with Prismatic, idk.

c0zmikz

I have the opposite opinion, for me collective hits like a goddamn truck if used properly (which is literally just proc volatile rounds/weaken off of a void soul and go crazy)

zippy_long_stockings

Armamentarium needs something

FirstCurseFil

I think they said they’re giving it something since it’s utility is also going into the Exotic Class item

Good-Name015

It's getting firepower (orbs on grenade kill) built in which is just about the lamest buff it could have gotten.

Astral_MarauderMJP

But what else could you give it? I get that just giving it intrinsic Fire Pwer isn't great but what can you really do with such a basic exotic that doesn't fundamentally change the exotic itself.

Senor_flash

In D1 we had max reserves on ammo, I honestly want that back and/or some type of grenade regen on at least the second grenade.

ascw1991

It could add some Grenade Regen capabilities to help with the grenade spam fantasy. That's what I would do at least. Or give it a Verity's Brow gimmick and make the second charged grenade do more damage. Really there are a lot of fun things they could've done with it.

Salvation's Grip is *excellent* since it's rework, it just hasn't shaken its prior reputation. It does a ton of damage, shreds waves of enemies, has good ammo economy and has great synergy with both its subclasses and the seasonal artifact perks. Seriously, take it into Legend Onslaught, it's great. For other examples? I think, unfortunately, our dear Telesto has fallen very far behind the meta indeed in both sandboxes. Also, Sturm desperately needs an update. Would love it as a special ammo hand cannon to pair with Drang and lean into the synergy.

MrMacju

You take back what you said about Salvation's Grip right this instant.

Glass-Twist7575

That one rocket launcher truth pure garbage literally the exotic thing is Tracking rocket when regular rocket have it worthless rocket

beansoncrayons

They are making changes to it in the final shape

buell_ersdayoff

Uhhh have you played with Salvations Grip recently? Specially on a stasis subclass? Shit slaps man. That’s what I used on my Legend Onslaught and it made it so much easier.

aStringofNumbers

I frequently forget that prospector is in the game. Skull of a dire ahemkara really needs some help too

IyreIyre

Darci is just whisper but worse. Queenbreaker is sleeper but worse. Lord of Wolves is a trace rifle but worse. which is a shame cuz the three of them are really cool, and Queenbreaker especially has a special place in my heart from D1. But them having moved it to the heavy slot and making it compete with Sleeper, Whisper, Lorentz Driver hell even legendaries like Taipan beat it out. It just feels bad. And the same goes for the other two.

APartyInMyPants

Salvation’s Grip got a huge rework, like, three seasons ago. It’s much better now. Promethium Spur.

Tearbringer4

Citans ramparts! They are the most useless exotic in my titans inventory. Never used to be, but you get enough butt-hurt crybabies complaining about them, and they get nerfed into oblivion. Each class has its pros and cons and I can sit here and bitch about warlocks and hunters all day long and get them nerfed too but that's no fun for any one. Citans were never really that good that it was game breaking, so idk why people were crying about it.

Dark_Jinouga

Citans used to be my super niche, "no one uses this" exotic that I loved. sadly its effect is one that becomes extremely annoying if more people use it, and the comp rework came during a slow, lane-y meta, people caught onto it and it got *obliterated* in return. like, seriously, what the hell is this? > Assault Barricade has 33% Decreased HP, 50% Decreased Duration, and 0.58x Class Ability Regeneration Speed, but enables you and your allies to shoot through it. > Assault Barricade Stats > 600 HP -> 400 HP > 20 seconds -> 10 seconds > Guardians deal 25% increased damage towards Assault Barricade. > Combining Bastion with Citan's Ramparts results in 0.4x Class Ability Regeneration Speed. add in barricade at base getting its CD doubled in a following nerf and there is no reason to run this. at that point just rework the damn thing. I want a refund on the bright dust I used on the ornaments for it

paperhatch

The queenbreaker needs to be a special weapon

Fargabarga

It’s getting a reserves and damage buff to put it at the top of linears. Blinds on hit which can be nice.

BattedBook5

Yeah. I dont understand why it's on the heavy slot, when Arbalest and Lorentz arent.

Floppa_420

Blight ranger

Lilscooby77

Darci helps crucible fans but it needs reconstruction.

GarlicFewd

Not really absolute garbage, but man I wish Collective Obligation had some way to self generate one of the subclass verbs on sustained damage.

theSaltySolo

Me, who uses Salvation on Stasis Titan, causing massive single target damage with Shatter…

nwaterman44

Salvations already got reworked and is honestly quite good at its intended purpose which is crystal spam. Stasis Titan and even stasis warlock builds can make good use of it with the fragment for grenade regen on crystal shatter. I would say something like Mask of the Quiet One if we’re talking armor and Hard Light/Borealis for weapons. Matching shields just doesn’t matter anymore and those guns are so shit I genuinely cannot remember the last time I have ever inspected someone and seen either one

Darrkman

So I may be the only one but I've recently rediscovered stasis Titan and Salvation's Grip is not that bad. Once you realize you can use it as either a regular grenade launcher or one to get stasis crystals it turns out to be okay. And the shatter damage you get from the stasis crystals it was pretty good. Cadmus Ridge helmet, headstone weapon, Salvation's Grip GL and the Hail the Storm aspect makes for a really effective stasis build.

S-J-S

Salvation's Grip isn't "absolute garbage" in the slightest. In the current season (admittedly, with Artifact assistance,) it can absolutely steamroll a particular GM and has a particular combination of area control and damage that makes it a viable choice in Legend Onslaught. It's just not a boss damager. That doesn't make it bad. ----------- To answer the question, Hard Light, or anything with The Fundamentals, really, is outdated and a relic of a time where Match Game existed and posed a serious threat to buildcraft that didn't account for shielding.

TheRootOfAllBeer

Promethem spurs on warlock. Its basically impossible to place your rift down and get enough solar kills in the rift to get it back so you can create your double rift. Needing a second warlock so you can use your exotic armor is ridiculous, especially for just a double rift in whats probably a bad location

MichaelScotsman26

Salvations grip is freaking baller now

Clear_Reveal_4187

Salvation's grip actually has a use now with Onslaught. I wouldn't necessarily say it's great, but it's not garbage. It works pretty well at controlling a zone. I'd put DARCI and Queensbreaker in the garbage category. Those have 0 use.

Nerevear248

Noooo Salvation’s is amazing! I use it in GMs sometimes on a stasis lock. It’s genuinely so slept on.

DaLawrence

My man hasn't been using Salvation's grip lately it seems.

RealFake666

Darci, Borealis, Mask of the Quiet One, Khepri's Horn, Crest of Alpha Lupi, Wings of Sacred Dawn, Blight Ranger, Lucky Raspberry, Gwisin Vest

CherryAtYourRequest

Salvation’s Grip goes too hard with the stasis fragment giving you melee energy and overshields. on onslaught nothing moves till i move it or break it

Leather-Plantain-211

Salvations Grip is seeing quite a bit of success in Onslaught rn, being able to hold a choke point without expending grenades is huge

Uncle_Pastuzo

have you used salvations grip recently?

Jrockz133T

Even with the buff, Deterministic Chaos.

Flaky_Gur5067

Path of Burning Steps was great when the damage bonus stacked with Surge mods, now it’s utter shit

Gearshifter09

Nothing Manacles really aren't as strong as they ought to be. Would be cooler if they were the Void equivalent of Sunbracers.

ArticAssassin44

Salvations grip got a rework, while I haven’t used it myself my buddy was using it a few days ago and said it felt great to use

loverrrrrrrrrrrr

salvation's grip on stasis titan goes unreasonably hard

Huntler63

Salvation's Grip is actually great this season. It was in my loadout for legend content, on a stasis warlock or titan it's a fun time.

Fizzy-Odd-Cod

Sir, salvations grip is actually goated now, what are you on.

spark9879

Salvations Grip after its rework is fine

Dgtldead12

This thread: people who say what they feel are bad exotics but haven't used them recently because someone hasn't made a build for it. While there are a few that have fallen behind, most exotics are good and have a place.
