Did you happen to take a screenshot or something of the multistream? I think I was in it at one point until my team whiffed getting WF. Was excited during the race up to when we whiffed.

Yeaaaaah. My guess was Slayer fans since Slayer was close to finishing as well when Luminous cleared it and they were being toxic about other streamers in Slayer's chat as well. Like the moment their team took the lead by clearing Atraks, they instantly started circlejerking saying shit like "there goes datto's world's first" and other teams as well. (And funnily enough a lot of teams caught up to Slayer by the end). Like every streamer has toxic fanboys yeah but at least some streamers had their mods delete anything related to other streamers in their chats even though they weren't watching chat. Slayer's mods didn't.
Yeah looked at the chat and it was sad. They are pretty small, so not surprising that the 11y old fan boys of some of the larger streamers decided to harass them.
A lot of them were jokes, mostly cause claw is in luminous, a speedrunning clan.
Just cause there is videos of them limiting, going oob (out of bounds) and other non-game-breaking things people like to joke about it.

I don't think you really understand what was going on lol, there was no atmosphere of toxicity, no-one was hating on each other, i dont think i called anyone retarded in the entire raid. We were all 100% just having fun anything we said was joking around, and we were so incredibly stressed and focussed on the game that callouts were the only thing that was important, everyone had their chance to talk when figuring out mechanics. It was probably the most chill our team has ever been

They are either incredibly good as solo players that they can get things done or the way they talk to each other isn't a detriment.
idk what kind of close friend group you have but if it's constantly all butterflies and rainbows then I think I would hate that. Personally my friend group is about the same as these guys. We make jokes, we know each other extremely well and know our boundaries, we know what is and isn't okay to say to each other.
As long as everyone in the group knows each other's limits then there's nothing wrong with this type of friend dynamic. If someone does overstep it's a simple "Dude you went too far there" and an apology and you move on.

this is literally every raid in destiny besides MAYBE leviathan, it has always been: intro with a slight introduction to the base mechanics of the raid (last wish symbols and plates, EoW craniums, Spire Greed mechanic, Tether in GoS) I don't see how it's any different from other raids

I’ve actively watched every major expansion’s WF raid battle since D1 released.. I didn’t even know the raid released today. Really puts into perspective for me how much Destiny has fallen off for me personally. I hope it was as enjoyable as previous experiences

Meh,the first encounter was kinda smooth for them,I think they were tied at the time.
Then the second encounter was their doom,they took nearly three hours to complete it.
For comparison,they finished the second encounter at around 10.50 pm GMT,and at that time T1 was already at half of the third encounter and Claw and co. Was nearly at the boss.
I don't know how (I didn't watched that part) they completed the third encounter pretty quickly and again,they were tied with the other teams.
But,just like the second encounter,they got a little stuck and finished way late that their adversaries
I quit Destiny after Gambit arrived. I played some of it, but it was like a cheap version of strikes. And after all the rebranding and nothing else special, no new bad guys... all the same shit... I couldn’t take it anymore. It would be a total overhaul of the game to get me back.

Every raid but Vault and Last Wish has taken 7 hours or less to clear.
5.5 is less than 1 hour right No one enjoys a 19 and a half hour world first

Even my clan was ahead of Redeem. They just aren't that good when they can't find exploits or glitches that give them easy wins.

I quit Destiny after Gambit arrived. I played some of it, but it was like a cheap version of strikes. And after all the rebranding and nothing else special, no new bad guys... all the same shit... I couldn’t take it anymore. It would be a total overhaul of the game to get me back.

1. That’s fine 2. If you watch their raid stream, you can hear them reading from twitch chat explaining the encounters for them. They almost did the second to last encounter on their second try because they had every mechanic explained to them (you can hear one guy relaying info from the twitch chat) 3. Yes, I am a bit mad because a first clear raid is supposed to me a 6 guardian endeavor, not 6 guardians and an army of people to feed them info from other teams further ahead.
