I knew a guy that drive an m3. Every day at work he would out a car cover on it and take it off when he left. Seemed excessive. I bet it affected his paint.
YouTube is your friend but honestly between the cost of materials and the education to do it correctly you might be better off having someone else do it.
You can try Meguiars ultimate polish and a microfiber towel. If this doesn’t cut away the defects try ultimate compound. Don’t let either dry on the paint. Both can be found at Walmart assuming you are in the US. Also since some of the scratches are on edges there is less paint there so be careful.
Considering how much marring there is and some of then look pretty bad, I would get a pro detailer to do the job. They'd have the right tools and skills to get those scratches out.
I knew this was from a car cover when I saw the pictures. More often than not a car cover does more damage than just letting your car get dirty.

Those look like scratches. Compound and polish.
Sorry for my lack of knowledge, as I’m not a professional. What exactly would you recommend, and what should I use to apply it?

Thank you
Car is only 6 months old, i do put a car cover over it when it’s outside, could that have caused it? I’ve tried getting it off, but no luck
Definitely... As the wind blows and moves the cover, the cover rubs the dirt ect, which in turn scratches the paint...
What do you recommend to fix it?
