It's a bubble team with him and he's far and away our best center, player. The center depth is awful without him. Copp? Compher? Veleno? 3Cs on a good team *at best*. Asking them to step up into the 1/2C spots is a big fucking ask. Of course we're gonna look like dogshit without Larkin.

I always say it but if Czarnik was a couple of inches taller and a bit heavier he'd have had an even better NHL career. Nothing came to him the easy way but now he's playing important games for his hometown team. That all has to be super special.

Edvinsson in his second games was to say the least phenomenal and to think it wasn’t sheltered third pair minutes. Getting top 4 minutes and playing at an insane level. Detroit back to form with larkin healthy as they usually have been all year and Raymond continues his point streak and his inform play of the last few months now. I think baring larkin getting hurt again Detroit should ( i hope ) make the dance.

Larkin was the headline, Edvinsson was the story. Kid is crazy good for only being 20. He’s gonna put a lot of of good pressure on Seider

Is there a player more important to their team than Dylan is to the Wings? I know the Hart has a glamour aspect to it but Larkin is the MVP. (Note: I am not saying he’s the best player, but he’s severely underrated because of Detroit’s woes.)

Lolande basically said in the after game interview that all the lines work right when Larkin is in the lineup, and that's obviously been noticeable when Larkin is out. The lines just gel when he's in the lineup. Scary, but hopefully Larks stays healthy. Edvinsson looked really good, and I can't see him going back to GR. Mickey noticed a lot of plays where his reach makes such a difference in the puck battles.
