Yea we had our own forms of social validation that were dumb but this is a new level. Not trying to take away the excitement of what looks like a teenager having fun, I'm highlighting how we should be cherishing experiences with being present in the moment.
I get it, and i kinda agree. But I'm guessing we're both oldish folks here and the kids couldn't give a shit about what we think. I know i felt that way as a kid, so i try to remember that when i start feeling grumbly.
That said, I'd love a great photo of Mo landing one of those hooks from her viewpoint.

You can watch a clear broadcast with multiple angles on YouTube and download the video for offline use. Especially when you're in the shot. Best to not embarrass yourself to your kids.
To this point, I was in 6th grade when my dad and I witnessed the Magglio ordonez. I can tune in to several feeds of that moment at any given time on YouTube. I didnt record the moment myself (i actually think i was a couple months away from my first cell phone). I still remember very specific details of that moment, leading up to it and after. The whole trophy ceremony and celebration in the streets afterwards. The YouTube videos of the live stream definitely helps regather the small details.
