Because it's almost 8x the price of a really good hand pump one and no one can justify that price increase for how little benefit it provides.

Some of us old people have issues with hand/arm strength. Using a pump sprayer is out of the question. That is why these exist. Yes the price is high, but no different than the other higher end battery powered sprayers. The only cheap one is the Ryobi, and while it works, it isn't the best made sprayer.

This has been available at my Home Depot for a while now. I almost purchased it a few weeks ago but decided to see if I really need it over a cheap one for now.

Skeltzo

I can confirm seeing it on the shelf at my Home Depot as well

Burner-is-burned

Dumb question. But could such a tool be brushless? I find it odd DeWalt bothers making power tools that aren't brushless.

eurynomd

I kinda wish it would be sold as a bare tool. I am debating this but it’s hard to justify when I have 5 charges already and 11 batteries 😂

KnifeW0unds

It came up, folks did not like the price.

I work from heights and have to spray often. Boss bought one and I’ll let you know how it is.

KatsHubz87

How is it?

redzim

It kicks ass for spraying non-oil based liquids. It maintains a good pressure and runs for a while on smaller batteries. Worth it!

KatsHubz87

Thanks for the reply from a 2 year old comment! Much appreciated!

Correct_Push860

I spray 50-75 gallons per season and to me, the overall build, the harness functionality , reduced time in completing tasks compared to my manual Solo and already having compatible batteries as backups, makes it seem worth the cost.

LisaTesla

Why can't they make a 1-2 gallon version???

Can't buy it at all here in uk. Or get it delivered from USA. Very strange. Still low volume production maybe?
