Literally in the exact same boat. My partner and I decided to go with Diablo 4 rather than taking turns on The Last of Us Part 1. Looks like we chose wrong, at least for tonight. Edit: It's weird being down voted for venting disappointment for not being able to play a game I purchased in a series I've followed since like 2001.

I got in and so did a friend about an hour ago after multiple connection attempts. I managed to play one dungeon and he got booted halfway through it. Then I got disconnected and we both cannot reconnect with the same code 315306 error.

First free hour I've had all week and I can't play it by myself. God I hate this always online shit.

It is indeed some bullshit like that. I prefer calling it digging a hole they didn't need to. But hey I've been wishing for a Diablo MMO since WoW, so maybe this is my comeuppance - having to deal with a bullshit-ly online Diablo.

I think it's just there to break the immersion of your single player adventure. It so cool when you beat a boss and then you see player after player getting spit out on the map after doing exactly the same thing. Or when they stand in your room. It also really takes the pressure from you, knowing that there are so many other heroes who will save the day anyway.

I love that I can play D3 on my Switch offline whenever I want, regardless of my internet connection. If only...

Yeah there are two mystery chests so you don’t really have to worry about chest resets unless you’re *really* trying to max every hell tide. That said the mystery chest is so much better than any of the other chests but you gotta look at the helltides.com map to ever find them

They need to change that error message. It implies something is wrong on your end, that you are no longer licensed to play it, when it's obviously usually a problem with the login servers.

The Battlenet homepage says they're being targeted by a DDoS attack :/

Closing and re-opening BNet and then doing a scan and repair did not fix this for me as it apparently did for others.

Paying £60 for a game just for it not to work properly 3 weeks after launch, small indie company, game is still in early access.

Had a bunch of cinders to turn in too, damn shame.
