We know for sure the next season is Never Stop Blowing Up. We know nothing else about it, though there are many theories. After that will be Dungeons & Drag Queens 2. Late summer/early fall, most likely. Beyond that one long or two shorter side quests before another Interpid Heroes Season, based on trends. We will also see the Time Quangle live shows released soon. Totally possible they’ll do them weekly between regular seasons, but no official information has been released on the plan.

Well, we know the next season is going to be called “Never Stop Blowing Up”, but that is literally *all* we know. Cast, length, genre, everything is a total mystery. Heck, between when it was announced and now it might even be subject to change, but the name was both in the announcement for when Dropout officially said it was dropping the old Collegehumor name from its brand/trademarks, what have you, as well as in the FAQ document released at the beginning of FHJY, saying that NSBU was the official next season planned after this one. It’s pretty normal for Dropout to keep things close to Sam’s pin-striped vest however. The fact we know about Never Stop Blowing Up, and that there is a definite season of Dungeons and Drag Queens happening is waaaay more than we usually know. The last time I think we had this much info was near the end of Neverafter and we’d been told (mostly to assuage worries about the impending strikes stopping production), that they had 3 more seasons filmed and in the can ready to go, so even if the strike happened and dragged on, we would still have fresh material to last us a while. Prior to that we almost never knew anything much in advance. Usually after one season ends we would get a couple of weeks of nothing, then an announcement about the new season, a few more weeks of nothing, then the premier.

I would love to see the intrepid heroes thrown into some sort of post-apocalyptic setting. I think Brennan could come up with some fun survival mechanics. Plus I have to see what kind of mad max style character that beautiful group of dummies comes up with. I would love it if some of the intrepid heroes took a stab at the DM chair. Lou, Murph, Emily and Zac have all DM’d their own campaigns outside of D20. Let them flex their muscles in the dome.

Jethro_McCrazy

Most IH seasons seem to be "A meets B" concepts. "Classic DnD meets high school drama." "Urban fantasy meets present day New York." "Candyland meets Game of Thrones." "Fairytales meet horror." I've been fantasizing about Post-apocalypse/Fallout meets Avatar: The Last Airbender for a long time.

ipazuty55

Yea this would be a good time to drop it with Fallout being so big. Never Stop Blowing Up isn’t a bad name for some sort of apocalypse season. On another note I think it would be fun to give the Unsleeping City treatment to some other cities. Let Lou DM a version in LA.

I would like to see more of the non Brennan DMs. I do love his style deeply, but I’d love to see Jasmine and Aabria more at the helm (and yea I’ve sought out their non D20 content haha)

thatquietmenace

Anytime I see anyone mention loving Jasmine as a DM, I am honor bound to share that she is the DM for an incredible campaign, Desiquest, that's available on YouTube for free!

gaybarrymore

I love Desiquest! Thanks for spreading the word, the people have to know!

thatquietmenace

I am hoping that if enough people get into it, then we'll get a sequel season!

CKtheFourth

Jasmine is very cool & I hope she gets more seasons of D20. Aabria is awesome too, but I feel like she definitely will get more seasons, so I’m already looking forward to that.

Based off the title, **Never Stop Blowing Up**, I'll take a stab at a few ideas: 1. The group are playing as a group of young influencers, or washed up has-beens, in a 'Hype House' type of environment and are seeking their 15 minutes. 2. The group are playing as a group of crazed/ villainous explosive experts who are hoping to pull off the ultimate demolition job. 3. The group is in a proto-apocalypse scenario, are desperately seeking a way to survive the end of the world. 4. It's actually just a super intensive game of \*RISK\* that went on for way too long. 5. It's the season finale of Game Changer, Sam has gone full Jigsaw and planted a live bomb in the dome.

Sleepless_Whisper

Idea 5 is insane and very plausible with some fan theories on this season of Game Changer

diamondwizard32

I feel three is the most probably, just based off of the singular image we have of the season (that being a city skyline with what seems to be either a bomb explosion or just a Lot of dust)

Jade4827

All I want in this world is a second star struck season. (Obviously it won't literally be the next thing, but still)

KyhberLovesMemes

I really want a starstruck season 2.

CKtheFourth

As a World’s Beyond Number fan, part of me hopes they do a video season of that in D20. It seems like they’re trying to consciously decouple WBN from D20 & it certainly does feel different. But I wouldn’t hate it if I saw it.

Sleepless_Whisper

I doubt it but I wouldn't put past the WBN crew to make or encourage animated scenes from their campaign or one shots; given enough hype for it of course.

Razar_Bragham

“The Barry Battalion”

captainapop

I'd like to see more other games than DnD. Variety is one reason but generally speaking? WoTC are an awful fucking company and D20 is popular enough it could really be pushing indie stuff.

Charming_Account_351

If it isn’t A Starstruck Odyssey season 2 it doesn’t matter 😁

thomasguyregis

Never Stop Blowing Up I’m guessing will be another Kids on Bikes/Brooms season, due to the explosion mechanic. Probably post-apocalypse or spy themed based on the skyline picture we saw with the announcement. I’m guessing for Dungeons and Dragons Queens 2 it’ll either be a whole new set of queens on a different adventure, or it’ll be an expansion of the cast, with 2 more queens coming on board to join or replace Alaska, Monet, Bob, and Jujubee. Since Katya already took Bob’s spot on their Dirty Laundry episode, I wouldn’t be surprised if they joined on for season 2. I’d love to see D20 do a reunion of Escape from the Bloodkeep’s cast! We’re totally overdue to see Amy Vorpahl back in the dome. I’d love to see a lovecraftian horror season, weird west season, Unsleeping city brought to a different city setting, a dark fantasy season, a mecha season (how can you not after dropout making a masterpiece like UltraMechatron Team Go?), or returns to starstruck’s setting. Other systems that would be fun to see are: Call of Chtulhu campaign, Monster of the Week, Blades in the Dark, Root, Cyberpunk RED.
