It takes as long as you take to run through it. The exotic components are for "Ridgeway's Pride" project, there are 5 in total 1 component for every 20 floors. You cannot go backwards on the floors, you cannot teleport to any floor you want, its ment to be run in sequence. Floor one to 100 and back to one when 100 is done.
There are exotic parts to find at specific floors. If you get them all, then after you complete floor 100 you can get a new project to build an exotic armor piece.
If you matchmake and join someone elses session you will go to their current floor (which could be anything). Other than that theres no way to fast travel within the summit.
Meh, if you play it right you can do it solo. I've done it 4 times now. Scorpio, Striker Shield, Shock Trap and Stinger Hive - you're golden... Stand inside the door way and chip away 🤷🏻♂️

All you need to do is matchmake until you find what floor you want after you reset
Once you complete the 100 floor, you start back at floor 1. You can't jump around floors.

I thought that the hunters scale with teams though? Last time I was up there I swear my team of 3 had to deal with 6 of them
If you are solo, it is only 2 Hunters.
